Excellent place for relaxing!!!
Comfy bed well organised place really helpful hosts just 2 km of Marathopolis village.
Parking just beside of houses, nearby the sea.
However the beach that is close to the building is too shallow for adults but for kids it’s fine.

Value for money

As a family of four with two small kids (0 and 2y old) I can highly recommend this place to anybody who enjoys the peace and quiet of the countryside, a paradise and safe place for kids and a homey atmosphere. The houses are very spacious, each with a large furnished balcony and a lovely terrace with a fantastic view to the sea. There is a big very well-kept garden, a playground with the ‚most important‘ tools and a newly built super great pool with shallow water for the small ones and deep water for the adults. There is a small either rocky beach in front of the houses. We did not use it for swimming - although you can - however it is a great place for exploring the seaworld and climbing the rocks. The whole place is constructed so that families with small kids (protective grating in the house next to the stairs, high chair for the small ones, a fence around the pool with doors to be closed, shallow water in the pool, ...) can feel like at home and travelling with small ones doesn’t get complicated.  We‘ve been allowed to use all the toys available - which was fantastic, as there was no need to buy any kind of water-toys for the kids or umbrellas for the beach or whatever you ‚need‘ when being on holidays with kids. On top I personally found it so relaxing that our kids were allowed to use all the toys available without the need to tell them off (because it doesn’t belong to them or constantly asking if we were allowed to borrow something). There are numerous lovely beaches not far from the apartment. The owner Konstantina is a super nice young lady who always took the time and effort to answer all our questions, help us with recommendations and even made some phone calls for us to check on something. When we left it really felt like leaving a friend.

THE perfect family place

This is the place where time stops. Where you enjoy every minute of the day. The perfect place for any family interested in a quiet yet fun place, remote from the hustle and bustle of the city. 

We are a family of three, and came all the way from Romania by car, which is a 16 hours drive. We’ve been here three times already and every time it’s just better and better. 

Ever since we came here for the first time, we have been welcomed with open arms by the staff. After so many hours of being on the road, being welcomed like that’s it’s something you don’t see everywhere. 

As for accommodation, there’s everything you could ever want for a small summer villa. The furniture is nice and well taken care of, not broken as other people said, there is no dirt of any kind and the wifi works actually pretty good.
You have many appliances such as a sandwich maker or a kettle for tea and many others:). The beds are very comfortable and we’ve never had beds as comfortable as these in any other place we’ve been to.

Regarding cleaning there are absolutely no complaints. In three years we have never had any problems of cleaning matter. There is cleaning service everyday, and the lady who comes to clean does it in a very spotless manner. There is a very nice smell of clean when you enter the house which makes it every more enjoyable.

As for fun activities, there is a beach where you can go to with your family, there’s a swimming pool which has recently been open and it’s actually a wonderful place to go and have some fun. Also for those like us who enjoy snorkelling, the coast near the villas is perfect for that. But also there are many other sand beaches where families can go if they have small children maybe: Voidokilia for example which is only 15 minutes away by car. 

Also you can go in Marathopoli and have a nice traditional dinner at their local restaurants where you are always welcomed by friendly staff. You can also take a trip to Proti Island which can be seen from the villas. 

All in all, we consider this place as an ideal spot for a nice and peaceful holiday. We definitely recommend this place it’s totally worth it to come. We are sending all our good wishes to the outstanding staff. 

A piece of heaven! 

Location: a great base to explore the region. Ask the staff for all known and less known places to visit. You'd be surprised by the variety of sights. 

Staff&service: top level. Polite and ready to assist. They will leave no stone unturned so that you can have  an unforgettable stay.

Property: Very quiet location. Newly built private houses with well equipped rooms. Clean, bright and airy with view to the private garden and the sea.

An oasis ! Location, service, modern amenities

Dialiskari villas is a complex of apartments of five townhouses on the seafront, located in the south of the Peloponnese in a few kilometers from the city of Maratopoulos. I want to emphasize that in comparison with the Chalkidiki or Crete, this is more of an agricultural area than a tourist area. The hotel and other tourist infrastructure is relatively modest, but at the peak of the season it is quite modest, so that you can only find a few places to stay on the beautiful beaches and beaches nearby.

For the tormented townspeople:)

We had booked a 10-day stay at Dialiskari Villas with our two kids (5 and 7 years old). As shown on the pictures, it was right by the rocky seashore close to Marathopoli, very remote and quiet, which was what we were looking for. Broadly, the equipment, flooring and furniture was in line with what is shown on the pictures. Voidokilia beach and other nice beaches of the Southwestern Peloponnese are only a short drive away. 

Nonetheless, we ended up leaving after only three nights, thinking that life is too short to spend our holidays in this place. Here some of the reasons:
- the place was not very clean and quite smelly on arrival, the smell of cat pee lingered in the living room for the first 24 hours
- so we went to explore the surroundings: the playground is nice to have, but was covered with cat excrements and dead insects, it is also directly exposed to the sun and hence not a place where the kids enjoyed spending time
- the little beach right outside the property also looks nice from a distance, but had dead fish, glass shards and plastic waste lying on the sand
- during our first dinner, two of the four living room chairs fell apart, it was apparent that there had been half-hearted earlier attempts at fixing them (a nail was sticking out)
- when it rained, water entered the main bathroom and carried in additional dirt
- there was no cleaning service on the second day, so the place stayed dirty
- the WiFi stopped working altogether for 48 hours
- while we don't mind insects in general, the company of large (6-10cm) cockroach-like bugs on the balcony and terrace was not very pleasant 
- there is a steep staircase without handrails, which we didn't see on any of the pictures; it is a bit dangerous for smaller kids (our younger kid fell down but thankfully didn't injure himself)
- we addressed most of these issues with management (apparently a replacement for the owner who was on maternity leave) which was not a very welcoming or helpful interaction 

When we decided to leave, management refused to discuss any kind of compensation for the six nights we didn't stay there, referring to this being the booking agent's problem. We later heard from the booking agent that this was only an excuse, it was the management who had refused any kind of compensation.

All in all, I would not recommend this place, even if it may be more suitable to adults and/or families with older children.

Not a good experience, we left early

Beautiful new apartments and well furnished and equipped, our on three floors. Excellent reception of the owner Mrs. Konstantina always available for any eventuality. The very well-maintained small complex is located in an isolated and quiet position a few steps from a very nice cabin, and a great starting point for exploring the area. But it is also very pleasant to enjoy the view and the sounds of nature from the terrace or the equipped patio.

Eighth start of the holiday

Dialiskari Villas is a piece of paradise on earth! If you are looking for a place to turn off and charge batteries, you are right here. The area is very quiet. When you sleep, you only hear the sound of the sea. It is an absolute dream! Just 5 minutes away from the rooms, you can jump straight into the crystal clear sea from the rocks. The water is super clean! The apartments are very spacious, tastefully decorated and have large terraces overlooking the sea. For families with children there is a playground where the little ones can get out. Voidokoilia, one of the best beaches in Greece is only 20 minutes away by car. The hostess is super friendly and complimentary! Absolutely recommended!
