This is the absolute best place to stay in Amoudara! My brother and I stayed with Anna for two weeks while volunteering in Gazi, and this place had everything we needed and more. Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, and amazing food. Anna and her family are incredible people, we are excited to visit again soon!

Felt like home

My son and I stayed at Pension Anna for 14days. The place is absolutely amazing. The owners wonderful Anna and  her husband are wonderful, warm, kind, generous and helpful people. I felt like I knew them for long time although we met them for the first time.
The rooms are nicely decorated and impeccable clean, impeccable service. We had a wonderful view over the sea and the mountains. In the morning we could admire the sunrise and in the evening the sunset from our balcony.
The location is also incredible.The beach is only 50m away and has the best beach bar in Amoudara.
In the opposite direction as well 50m away are supermarkets, bus station  to Heraklion or Airport. Lots of stores and restaurants. A good cretan restaurant just around the corner.
We can’t wait for the next summer to return to Anna Pension.
We had a wonderful time and I would strongly recommend this wonderful place.

The best place to stay in Amoudara

Very very friendly host. Room is very nice and clean. Toiletries here. In the room a small kitchen with a sink. The hotel is in a central location to go to the supermarkt and restaurants. The owners give you advice where to go for dinner. In the pension is a breakfast area and also a nice sitting area with television.

A one night stay

The room was clean and spacious  with a kitchenette and clean bathroom. We spent there only one night after we landed in Heraklion. The pension is about 15 minutes driving from the airport. The owner lady is very lovely. The beach is in less than 100 meters. The breakfast was simple but good. There is a big yard for the cars.

Very nice owners

We stayed for 7 nights in a family room with 2 different bedrooms. It also contained a small kitchenette, fridge and equipment to cook a meal. It also had air condition and TV, small though. 

The room was spacious , with lot of closets and a safe! Bathroom was small though , but hot water was ok ways on.

They cleaned the room every day, except Sunday, with all the COVID-19 measures.

Mrs Anna and her husband are very kind and willingly provide assistance and any information.

We did not tried the breakfast. 

Downside : 
Our room was in the west wing so it was on the sun till sunset and the air condition could not chill the whole room.

No elevator in our wing at least.



Great Value for Money 

The title says it all!
We’ve been looking forward to this holiday for many months and we were not disappointed! 
We arrived and were pleasantly surprised a beautiful two tone  grey building with great balconies with fantastic views of the mountains and the sea. 
We were met by Anna a fantastic host who showed us to our lovely studio after offering us a much needed refreshment 
Anna studios is not just studio apartments it’s a beautifuly professionally run but importantly a homely business.  
Anna and her husband made our 1st trip to Crete a truly memorable stay. 
Anna even baked a cake to celebrate my birthday which really touched my heart.

Greek filoxenia at its best

First impression was moderate, but when you enter the establishment you realize what makes it different. The owners Anna and Yannis are very welcoming, the pension (more of a small family owned hotel) is fully refurbished, the rooms EXTREMELY clean and well equipped: fridge, free A/C, hair-dryer, kitchenette with all that basic needs, mosquito repelent machine, etc... .
Sandy beach 50-60m from the hotel with a very nice restaurant called Heaven (service is great) where you can use the sun-bed for the whole day just by buying a drink.
Same distance from the main road with plenty of shops and tavernas.
Overall: a really nice welcoming little hotel that I definitely recommend.

Home away from home

The pension is in fact a small hotel run by sweetest, most considerate Anna and her family. The building is 3 and 4 storey high, recently renovated and located 100 meters from the beach. The rooms are unexpectedly spacious, equipped with kitchenettes (complete with dishes and cooking appliances), powerful air conditioners and furniture on the balcony. Note that there's no extra charge for the AC and fridge. Breakfast is available at a request (5 euro) and cooked individually. After it, you won't think about food until dinner time. The whole place is immaculately clean and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay in Pension Anna and will definitely recommend it to friends.Wishing good health and stable prosperity to the hosts!

Perfect accommodation at a great location

We had a really good time at pension anna! The hospitality from the owners  is amazing! Nice and clean room, the location is near to the beach and centre! You can eat very good at beachclub Heaven and reataurant Petousis, both a few hundred meters away. We will come back :) efcharisto!
