We stayed at Poseidon Studios for one week in July/August 2023. We picked the studios because of it's brilliant position on what I find the most beautiful part of Georgioupolis beach. You can walk barefoot to the beach, where the taverna and sunbeds belonging to Poseidon is. Yes, the rooms are super basic and yes, the breakfast is simple, but there are plenty of other high end hotels nearby to pick between. If you want a relaxing holiday directly on the beach and are not fussy on the standard, this is a fantastic option. And that for a very cheap price! Loved it so much we have booked it also for summer 2024. Thank you! Odette and Thomas

Good news first. Location is beautiful. Now the bad news. Hotel didn't know I was coming, didn't give me the breakfast I had paid for, and asked me to pay cash for a stay that I had already paid for. Room was very budget end, and wasn't cleaned during my stay. Staff really need to work on their P.R. and organisational skills. Other reviews are far more scathing, and I can understand why.

Average would be generous

Hotel (if we can call it a hotel) horrible with cockroaches in the rooms and very dirty. Shower and toilet with sewage smells (and always cockroaches presence). Incorrect, dishonest and rude owners... We are not difficult though but we were forced to change hotel in the middle of the night given the accommodation conditions (booking offered us another hotel as compensation...).

Horrible is a weak word

Hotel on the edge of the campsite. A few rooms, a bar and beachfront lounges. On arrival, no check of our reservation, we are given a bit of a random room without any other explanation. The manager is distant and cold throughout the stay. At the end of the stay, no check, we are just asked to leave our keys on the door. Classic room with TV, air conditioning and mosquito toilet. Not every day cleaned, sand in the bed from the first to the last day, mosquitoes (or bed bugs) throughout the stay despite the mosquito toilet.

Weird hotel.

Positive point: the location. you can't blame them, right on the beach it's royal, after a day of visiting or hiking it's ideal to bathe at 7pm (water is very good even at this time) and be right in his hotel room Negative points the owner... When we arrived: there was no one we had to call, the manager waved us the keys without even asking our booking name (so much so that booking sent me an email to find out if I had actually stayed in the hotel, they wouldn't even validate our hotel...) so the departure didn't come as cheap as it did, we were asked to leave the terraces on the doorstep and get out of the bar... she didn't think it was a real place, but she didn't think it was a real place, but the hotel room was a nice place to stay (so much so that we used the hotel as a place to look out for hot water, and the hot tub is a nice place to stay)

It's not recommended.

A poorly maintained establishment that even seems abandoned... behind what was supposed to be a reception counter are packed with bicycles and mattresses... Very difficult to find, no one to welcome us, the owner not friendly at all, who asks to pay in cash (while it was not specified) and who refused to give us a receipt for our payment!!! The worst memory of our vacation...

The photos are really misleading...

The rooms are up to normal Greek standards, clean, good size, rather dated but with all amenities. Wifi works on veranda facing sea, rather slow. Water hot. The sea view rooms are good and quiet, the rooms facing away from the sea are close to a busy main road - much road noise. It is a good 20 minute walk to town centre. The best thing about the rooms was the location, but only for those facing the sea.  Did not eat at the Poseidon so cannot comment on the food.

Lovely location on long sandy beach

Our three-room air conditioner was attached to the kitchen, with nauseating smells and visible on empty bottles. Only after a precise request for a change, we were given a different room, but two-room, overlooking the fast-moving road. The dishes served in the tavern run 100 meters before reaching the table. The air conditioner was positioned above the bed, so that when it was turned on, cold air came on it. The presence of cockroaches in the room. The room was turned into a storage tent. The bare umbrellas provided were transparent seeds.

Neglected

We booked our stay 5 weeks in advance. 1 week before our departure date the owner calls me saying that there will not be any room for us. There was no reason, no explanation!! the only thing she said was that there are plenty of other places where we can book holiday. Our stay was planned for the 1 week of August - pick of the session - there was barely anything available and if so - 10 times more expensive then Poseidon. 
She left us with our plane tickets bought and ruined holiday!!! 

I strongly discourge anyone from booking a stay in that place!!!!

Stay away from that place!!!!

Poseidon Studios is for people who don't need luxury. The rooms are decent, depending on the room with the cook. The fridge and the water boilers are in each room. If something is missing, just let Katerina the boss know. It's cleaned daily and hand, shower and bath towels are included. The rooms are simple but sufficient. When showering, it can happen that the water in the shower doesn't come as well as in our house. But I never had the problem. The location is unique, you can get right to the beautiful sandy beach section. No stones and forever run to the sea. 100 points. But we have been looking for the best food here, so it's very perfectly fresh, orange strawberries, and salt and honey... but if something is missing, it's perfectly simple to say that Katerina's super delicious and delicious. We've been coming to a convenient place for years and we'd rather have a nice coffee and coffee in the hotel, and we've got to get away from it all for a few minutes and a few minutes.
