booked for 7 weeks had to leave and book another property then fight for our money back.  I booked through VRBO, review on there was approved and has sine been deleted.  
bathroom flooded, water pressure issues, no hot water, I could go on.  barking dogs at the pool when no pets stated on brochure.

Poor plumbing, wifi, kitchen equipment, staff unresponsive and rude

If you want value for money don’t book this place, it’s not nearly worth the amount of money. The reviews here on Airbnb are quite decent but I recommend to read the reviews and watch the pictures on Trip Advisor as well about: Liberty Villas to get the complete picture. 

Let me start by telling you I have a lot of experience with Airbnb listings, I always had a great experience and from every host I have got an outstanding review as a guest. 
Usually my reviews are much shorter but in this case I feel obligated to inform other guests to not make the same mistake as I did. Also because Airbnb will not help you as a guest and you’re completely on your own. 

The review:
The pictures on Airbnb are way to nice and don’t reflect the real state of the bungalows. All they did was put a nice colour on the walls and put some new furniture in. Which does not help when they actually need to renovate the bungalows cause of the deferred maintenance. 
When we complained about the state of the bungalow I was called disrespectful and they were very hostile. They did offer me a different bungalow which was in the same bad shape.

The bungalow is basis which is fine because that’s what I booked. But the laminate floor had water damage which caused the floor to be bubbling and the edges of the laminate floor were sharp and dangerous for your bare feet. 
There is only airconditioning in the living room and the bedrooms couldn’t possibly be cooled in any way. So we put the mattresses in the living room to sleep, not ideal with two kids. 
The bungalow has an hotel solution when it comes to electricity: you have to put in your keycard to have electricity in the bungalow. Which means when you go out you have to take your keycard with you (otherwise you can’t lock the door). When you do so the fridge is shut off from electricity and also air conditioning is shut off, which means when you return to your bungalow in the evening the place is way to warm and again impossible to cool down. So we decided to leave the door unlocked and the keycard in to be able to cool the place down during the day. When we came home we realised someone had entered the bungalow to shut down the airconditioning, which does not give you a safe feeling.
The mattresses are terrible you can feel every metal spiral in it. They should have been replaced a long time ago.

And then there are all these little things:
WiFi doesn’t work when there are more people on the network. Not even to send a WhatsApp message. 
It takes a long time to get hot water, sometimes you don’t get any.
Kitchen cabinets are falling out when you open them. 
There was a beach umbrella outside which was completely wore down, they took off the original fabric and put on some kind of sun cloth which was torn on all sides. 

Plus sides:
The cleaning lady does a really good job. Although the bungalow needed to be renovated instead of rented out to guests, she did her very best to provide a clean place. Also the bed sheets and towels which were provide were very clean. 
The swimming pool and the outside area are clean and well kept. 

Conclusion: bungalows should be renovated instead of rented out to guests, not worth even half of the money they charge.

Don’t book this place! They will scam you place should be renovated instead of rented out to guests!!

If you are seeking a secluded and peaceful villa stay away from the maddening crowd then Liberta Villa meets that criteria.  Located 15 mins drive from Almyrida it is relatively easy to drive to the beach. 

there are 10 ‘villas’ so you share the pool area.

We stayed a week in one of the bungalows.  It was functional.  The bed rooms are large, with two bathrooms and a kitchenette equipped with the basics to cook a meal.  

Negatives:
Not luxury living.  It is the level above basic.  
The bungalows are ok but the finishing touches let them down.  For example;
- the toilet roll holders fall off the wall; 
- there is no bracket for the shower so you have to hold it above your head. 
A single aircon unit is in the main lounge area so no aircon in the bedrooms which makes it hot at night.  
The WiFi is patchy and kept dropping out.  Really annoying.  

We had good communications with the owner in the run up to arriving, but once we arrived that stopped. An email asking about the WiFi was not replied to.  We got the impression the owners just wanted the business and were not interested in providing a service.  

Overall we enjoyed the stay but are low maintenance people.  At £109 per night, it was expensive for what we got.

Secluded and Peaceful.  A Little Expensive.

Place was freezing cold and only heater was in living room. Bedrooms were so cold. Limited cooking facilities. Staff are rude and unhelpful. The mattress in the master bedroom has springs poking through which was sore while sleeping. Living room couches were the same so uncomfortable. The internet was terrible for the whole month. There was never enough hot water and no way to boost it. Cold showers everyday. Not an enjoyable experience at all

I had my doughts at first with the reviews that i read but as soon as we arrived i forgot about everything.
lovely to wake up surrounded by nature and enjoyed my coffee with the beautiful view of the mountains.

Honestly I do not know why there are so many bad reviews about this place! The place is amazing!Super comfortable rooms and well equiped kitchen! We were cooking and even making barbeque outside! Amazing swimming pool to chill whenever you want! Mr. Kostas was super helpful any time we needed him! 1 minute drive you have whatever you need!

Amazing choice!

Do NOT book the villa with private pool! We booked and payed for it three months in advanced for July 2018, but when we came we could not get it, because it was rented out to another family. The owner refused to talk with us in person and was extremely rude on mail. The overbooking seemed deliberate and we left. Fortunately our bank could refund the rental.

Avoid to book villa

Stayed in the 2 bed villas! Both of which were unfinished in my opinion. We had a disabled guest in which we were assured it was wheelchair friendly which it is not, she had to just wash herself and could not shower or bathe, ( NOT GOOD ENOUGH) it also says in their description that it has a 'state of the art sanitary facitility'. we arrived at 11:30pm in which I emailed beforehand to explain and was told this was fine. We arrived and no one was there to greet us only two dogs(if you are afraid of dogs you haven't got a choice the black dog who we loved as we love dogs was great but this is not for everyone) ,  after knocking on another villa a man who was staying came and told us he had the same problem and you just have to knock harder as he is asleep upstairs, this was very unprofessional and gave us a bad outlook on the whole experience.

We had no information at all and I had to email the lady 'Effie' numerous times to get any info including to get the Wifi code. The whole experience of this villa was far from 'deluxe' as advertised. No pool bar, no restaurant, no heated jacuzzi, pool also not even heated. Shower hasn't even got a proper hook so you have to sit down to shower,. They have the fans set to 24 degrees so it's not even a proper air con. 

I don't even know who to blame for the horrible service, Mr Costa was a grand man obviously him being asleep when we arrived was a problem. Effie was great and without her we would have had a lot more problems! Cleaner was fine. Management is unknown but needs to step up as this place has great potential 

I would not recommend this place whatsoever, The info given to you is a lie as half of it is not on offer! It has great potential but needs a revamp and new owners! Absolutely ridiculous STAY AWAY FROM HERE
