Beautiful boheme hotel, very clean, some rooms are too small though.. Strong internet, nice sea view, perfect location, very good coffee and brunch. Friendly staff. The bar/restaurant has a beautiful decoration and perfect environment for your night coctails.

I’m mixed about La Bohème. The building is very nice and my room was a good size,with a small balcony overlooking the bay.
When I arrived, a girl did my check in and then let me carry my luggage to the first floor, no elevator. 
The room was clean and comfortable. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there was only soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. No water, no sewing kit, but a menu for breakfast. So breakfast, if you don’t like eggs, don’t eat there. I had a frappe, orange juice and asked for some bread and jam or honey. The waitress seemed perplexed by my request. After five minutes, she came back with two buttered toast on a plate,had already added jam on it... I ate it, but honestly I don’t find that very hygienic. That cost me €10, which I found really too expensive. Went to a baker close by the nest day.
Apart from that, the location is great, close to everything without having all the restaurants which could get very noisy. The view is perfect, and the sunrise stunning.
Not sure if I’ll book again, but can’t really say I not to go.

Could be better

A small hotel very well located on the south side of the town, in front of the sea.
The sea view on the front rooms is great, especially on the sunrise.
But, rooms are really small with bad room layout. On top there are ashtrays so people smoke inside.
Same smoky place is also the cafe downstairs, where you get your “breakfast”. And by breakfast the hotel serves only coffee and toast with butter and honey.
So overall, for up to €50/night if you get a room with sea view and you don’t care feeling cramped on a smoky place, book it. Otherwise just skip, there are plenty other much better hotels on the €60-80 price range.

Small smoky rooms

Very nice view of the island that Beauty Helen and Paris of Troy left for troy. Very helpful stuff and very nice Italian cuisine at night. Some extra events happened there sometimes . Their espresso coffee is very good also.

Lovely place

This was our second time here!!
The room was nice and cute, all necessities available, clean and warmly decorated. The view from the room is stunning, brathtaking!! Especially dawn colours take you to heaven!!!
The owners and staff always willing, friedly  and nice responded to all our requests.
We had a perfect time. We will be back soon.

Beautiful boutique hotel on the seafront

The hotel is great! Our room was very cosy with that small balcony and that amazing sea view! The bed was also big and comfortable. We took mojitos from the bar and enjoyed the sea view from our balcony. The location is really nice with bars and eateries in close proximity.
The coffee is also delicious, especially the iced cappuccino! The breakfast could have been better though!

We (2 couples) stayed at this wonderful hotel for 1 night and were very happy and satisfied with our stay. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the main beach promenade, which is full of shops and restaurants. Both our rooms have little balconies facing the sea and since our visit was in summer, we were able to sit out and enjoy the view and people-watch. I woke up in the morning at around 6:30am and was able to witness the most beautiful sunrise ever!! (Photo included here with my review).

The staff were all friendly and helpful, although the main reception was not always manned, as the staff moved around their duties in the restaurant/bar (which is connected through the lobby) and the hotel. Our room was very clean and comfortable – air-conditioner working well and furniture was simple and old-fashioned in design. Only soap was provided for, but the towels were clean and soft.

The location of the hotel couldn’t be any better for exploring (by foot) the tiny seaport town of Ghythio and the famous small island, Kranai. It is also a short  driving distance away to the Dimitrios shipwreck in Valtaki beach. Parking at the the front of the hotel was free and covered (but rather limted).  

Breakfast at the hotel (which was included in our rate) was also good and sufficient. We were served coffee/tea, fresh orange juice, homemade marble cake and a choice of cheese-and-ham toast or toast with butter and marmalade.

Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this delightful little hotel to visitors who need a one-night stop (after the long drive from Athens) before exploring the rest of the Mani Peninsula.

Quaint little hotel

We stayed at the La Boheme for one night. It's a very good hotel, we couldn't ask for more, the staff were great, the room was very good. The shower is very small , hard to move around , but apart from that everything was excellent. 

A VERY GOOD HOTEL

Clean, comfortable room (our room was with a balcony) with a very nice view of the peninsula in front of it. In summer, however, the location on the waterfront road may be a little noisy because of the noise of the streets. Many restaurants and taverns are within walking distance.

Nice little hotel.

We spent Christmas days there, we found everything that was promised. Warm, clean, cozy - and with a view - I can only imagine what a nice experience can be living there in the summer... Coffee there in the morning topped it all up - what a view of the small island..
