The family owned hotel is located close to the ski center of Vasilitsa. It consists of separate apartments which are very well set in architecture sense.This is explained by the fact that Mrs Anna is an architecture, and she has emphasized to every little detail, making them functional and stylish at the same time.Our apartment had a jacuzzi,a cuisine,a nicely decorated hall with a sofa and a fireplace and finally a bedroom  with a canopy-double bed.Pillows and bed were great as well as the blankets.

The rooms were very spacious,very clean and warm,making you feel very comfortable.The central building hosts an elegant dining room and a cozy corner in front of  fireplace,with a very high wooden ceiling, windows allover and excellent music selected carefully by the son, Dimitris who has a great taste in music.The breakfast contains Anna's handmade marmalade, pies and local stuffed pancakes,and the dinner menu is prepared by the father of the family, Mr Makis who is a cook and we had some of the most juicy burgers ever!At the end of the dinner they offered us mushroom sweet desert!

The family are very welcoming, polite and discreet people, with a high cultural level, German speaking, and finally pet lovers!They have 3 cats playing around the yard,completing the picture of a well balanced establishment.

A model for the region

One of the best value for money hotels that I ever visit, I stayed on the suite with the jacuzzi which was awesome.
The best feature of the hotel is the owner which he is great chef, we eat both 2 nights at the hotel.. The breakfast is also great!!!

We spend our Easter holidays there this year(2014) and we all loved it.it was recommended by a friend of ours .The room was spacious enough for four persons(two adults two children) well heated and clean.The hospitality of the owners made us feel welcomed as soon as we entered the reception.The breakfast was amazing prepared and served in a unique way.The quality was apparent in everything this hotel.

A great place to relax!

This was our second year in a row staying at Amadriades hotel. We (3 couples) chose it for its proximity to Vasilitsa Ski Resort (about 18 Km) but we loved it for its warm people and environment. All the rooms (two-room suites) were just great, build with stone and wooden roof, they are comfortable with high ceilings, fireplace, jacuzzi and overall a very warm atmosphere with nice details all over the place. After lunch we would all gather at the living room in front of the fireplace and it was very roomy and comfortable.

The village of Alatopetra, where the hotel is located, can be a nice walk but there are no stores and has no gas station (The closest is at Grevena about 30Km away). There is wi-fi at the lobby/restaurant but at the rooms the signal is weak.

I can’t stress enough the incredible service at all levels and the exceptional cooking skills of Mr Makis. The food is just amazing, breakfast and lunch, and it definitely is a major reason to visit.

We were intended to spend some days of our honeymoon in this hotel and we made a booking through booking.com. Due to the extreme weather conditions that the north-west part of Greece was facing, we were unable to reach our destination. We made several attempts during two days to start our journey but we failed in all of them as it was extremely dangerous to drive there. Moreover, we suffered some damage to the car due to the weather and we had to use the road assistance service. The owner was informed immediately on our situation and we requested to cancel our reservation as it was not safe even to start our trip. He was misinforming us that everything was fine there and that it was safe to go, although in the news there was showing villages in the area and the snow resort that was isolated due to the heavy snow. Finally, he did not return our deposit as he claimed that he will keep it for the diesel he consumed to keep the room warm. He placed profit higher than the safety and the satisfaction of his clients.
