Great place and excellent service! Drinks could be ordered directly from the deck chair and delivered there. In addition, I received immediate help to call the ambulance when I had sudden pains. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic place

This hotel stands out well above others in same area.Staff are great,good sense of humour and very professional.Rooms are clean,and very comfy.Good beds with coco toppers.Feel like magic.Lovely powerful showers,plenty of hot water.The hotel has many attributes,its close to beach,just across a small quiet road.Plenty of restaurants around,particularly as the Port is less than half a kilometre away,along with the bars and entertainment for the lively ones amongst you.But Alia is quiet as its a short walk away.Plenty of good peaceful, quality restaurants and eateries nearby,including the Alia Hotel itself.Food excellent and not overpriced.
Many supermarkets close by,even a Lidl. Fresh fruit best bought at local stored.It looks a bit sad,but definately tastes beautiful. Fantastic boat trips in the Port.Ocean sailing day trips with food,smaller capacity to make it special and fun.Lots to see and enjoy. Lovely people.

This review is regarding the beach service as didn't stay in the hotel.
What a little gem! After being asked to leave our usual beach at Ammos (long story but you can read my review if interested) we found Alia Beach. Very friendly attentive staff and great food. You can either eat up on terrace or have it brought to you at your sunbed. The sunbeds are nicely spaced out and very comfortable. The owner is lovely and very friendly too. Just wish we had found this beach sooner!

Great Beach Service

We had a lovely time at Alia beach, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there are 2 choices of sunbeds, and the food is great especially the pizzas! The beach isnt over crowded as some are, and they dont blast music so you can really relax! Will deffinatly return on our next trip.

With my bestfriend we stayed at the hotel Alia Beach! It was amazing. The hygiëne from the hotel was perfect, the food was good, the room and shower amazing and best of all the people who worked over there. There al kind and want to help you with everything. We made nice memories here and relaxt :)

Amazing stay at Alia beach hotel

a very clean and well-maintained hotel. The rooms are large, spacious and have a nice balcony. There is also a safe and a small refrigerator in the room. The location is perfect. There is a beach directly across from this hotel. A supermarket is located right next to the hotel. Everything else is also within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This hotel also has a small fitness room. This has been completely refurbished. The devices are new and of high quality. The WiFi connection is great, fast and without interferences. The only slight downside is maybe the air conditioning. This could be a little better. However, if it runs long enough, this is not a problem. I felt very comfortable in this hotel, can definitely recommend it and would book it again at any time.

Clear Recommendation

The stuff are great and the room was very big . and the beach of the hotel is great . and there is great restaurant's and taverna in the area . and it's 20 k"m from the airport. The hotel have a good restaurant .

We stayed at this hotel for 11 nights and the stay was delightful. Staff was amazing two in particular, First was a women called Gota (hope I spelled this correct) She was a very happy person always welcoming us and asking us about our days which was nice.Second person was Nikos who worked in the resturant area, He was a very funny person who was always letting on to us when we walked by, Both these people definitely made are experience better and they will be missed. The rooms are very modern and beds are very comfy, We also had a balacony with a great view of the sea.

A must stay if in crete!!

Amazing hotel

My friend and I (both 24) have just come back from staying here for a week. We had a great time!!

Room is great, air con works fine, big fridge with freezer compartment. Decent size bathroom. Safe worked fine and was free. Towels changed every 2 days which was good. Only thing was that we paid extra for a sea view room but it wasn't really facing the sea, but we didn't mind (we had room 212).

Hotel has a great bar downstairs, cocktails around €5 each and were really good. Food was nice. Breakfast was better than expected. Same everyday but had hot and cold choices and lots of pastries etc. Had something for everyone.

Mostly all the staff that we spoke to were lovely. Especially the two women on the front desk. Sorry don't know your names! Also the guys at the bar are awesome and welcoming and funny.

Location of hotel was probably the best part of it. 30 second walk to beach and supermarket, Close to many bars about 10 min walk away, All fairly cheap but decent. Sun beds in hotel were €7 for 2 beds and umbrella which wasn't too bad. Beach stony not sand though but it was fine.

Takes approx 20 mins from airport, we got private transfer which worked out cheaper and less hassle than a coach transfer, we sorted this out independently from hotel.

One thing that weren't told was that we had to pay hotel tax per night on departure. For 7 nights between us it was €10.50. 

We would recommend to the hotel that a pool bar or snack bar would be a good idea in the future but shops aren't too far away...

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to our friends. We will surely be back in the future! i

Absolutely amazing place to stay! 
Very clean, always someone to help 24 hours a day.
Staff are all lovely and very helpful. 
Lovely area to stay in quiet and walking distance to restaurants/bars etc.
Already planning staying back here again.
