We booked this hotel last minute as we had concerns about our previous hotel being unsafe. We (me and one friend we are both 18) had a smooth check in and were excited about staying here l. However, as the days progressed, there was more and more wrong with the hotel. The shower flooded, the shower head did not stand up in its holder, housekeeping entered the room of their own accord and do not knock (I was not fully clothed when this happened). Additionally, we experienced 7 power cuts in the time we were staying there, the room smelt of sewage, the toilet would not stop droning, the wifi was intermittent, the air conditioning broke frequently, we are provided sheets for the bed instead of duvets and the hair dryer also did not work. We went to reception to try and get these issues resolved, however they were adamant that we were making all of these things up. They finally came to check our room and realised they needed at technician to fix it. They managed to fix the toilet which we were grateful for. The following day, we went to charge our phones and the entire plug socket blew up. There was sparks and a burning smell as well as the socket itself going brown. This was extremely scary for us so we went to reception who decided that we did need to move room. We had no help transferring into the new room and were left to sort it ourselves. In addition to this, housekeeping does not change your sheets they only give you new towels which was a problem for us as our sheets were dirty with sunscreen from previous days. The locks are the doors are extremely stiff which is annoying especially if your hands are slippy from suncream. I am not a pedantic person, however these accumulation of issues made our stay extremely uncomfortable. In saying this, the pool was nice and clean and we enjoyed visiting it daily. The location is excellent and only 5 mins walk from the port. This hotel was not worth the money we paid for it and overall I am extremely disappointed. 

Disappointing, everything kept breaking!!

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was overpriced for its amenities and on top of that we weren't given a receipt.
First of all, it was quite old, with an old and noisy air conditioner and a smelly corridor. The bathroom was renovated but with a small shower cabin and really low water pressure. The walls weren't soundproof so we woke up easily. Also, the pool could be cleaner. The Internet connection was terrible. 
All in all, it was clean and in a really convenient location, 2 mins walk from the port.

Overpriced

What a delightful little hotel in a fantastic location. 
A 5 minute stroll from the port and a beautiful terrace to savour the incredible Greek sunsets  
Clean, fresh and with modern bathrooms and a little fridge. 
Katerina and her family were so warm and welcoming and even helped recommend local restaurants - Allo and Aphrodite were two we tried - fabulous !!! 
Couldn’t recommend this highly enough and would definitely return.

A Hidden Gem!

As soon as you get off the ferry and start to walk up the track the hotel looks lovely. We only stayed 3 nights, but wished we’d stayed longer. Highly recommended.
Rooms are clean and smart, pressure in the shower wasn’t brilliant. Air conditioning was great, we were on the top floor with the open terrace (as requested) as we had two rooms, views were great. Pool area is nice with shade if you want it, don’t know if it has anything to do with the island nightlife, but we had it pretty much to ourselves, sun beds are of a quality standard.
The most important part... our hostess Katerina, absolutely fantastic, full of information, told us all about their home produce honey, how the flowers the bees use are unique to the area, then I tried the yogurt and honey. Wow. I always wondered what really expensive honey tasted like ( to tight to buy it back home) but now I know, just upset that they haven’t produced enough this winter to sell any surplus.
On our last morning she presented us with some figs pick that morning. Top service.
Overall loved this place, loved the island, favourite so far. Off to Santorini.

Nice location in the port of Ios

Good place to stay with a pool, attentive room service staff and renovated bathrooms. Located at the port of Ios, it is easy to trolley your bag there saving you the hassle of a pick up or drop off. In summer the owner, Tanya has a staff member, Maria who speaks several languages. Good idea for the flows of nationalities in and out. The pension also manages its booking to have a good balance between couples and younger guests. When you look at the photographs I have attached you with see that the room staff have placed flowers on our towels. Thank you Tanya for a relaxing stay.

Relax around the pool

What a beautiful beautiful place. The room was spotlessly clean and beautiful gardens and pool. The staff are amazing as are the owners they go above and beyond to make sure all is well. Thank you so much Tania George Maria and Pettia. You made our stay in the IOS amazing. Highly RECOMMEND this place without a doubt and so reasonably priced. Thank you 


Sensational 

Excellent location, very close to the port but away from the noise.  Room was lovely and cleaned daily with a view to the pool although the stairs down to the room would be a bit dangerous if tipsy and the shower was very small and leaked.  Staff were friendly and very helpful.  Was fantastic to be able to chill out with a beer beside the pool.
