We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and I can say that the room is very nice, modernly decorated, spacious and clean with a large terrace and a wonderful view. The room has a safe, TV and air conditioning. The hotel complex is huge, there are various types of accommodation, beautifully landscaped surroundings. It has a self-service restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool, and sports fields. It is located right next to one of the most beautiful beaches on Ios, and the public transport. For those who like to be surrounded by young people and don't mind the music during the day, which stops around 10 pm. After the end of the main music, some young people continue the party on their terraces, so that may be a problem for some, but it didn't bother us. I absolutely recommend this accommodation.

Great vacation

Really really overrated place! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... the food options are limited and the place is not that fun as it seems! Although i think, whether there is an event going on, the things are so much better...

At lounge

All in all far out was a blast since I met three amazing girls that i spent all 6 days with. I would say I was lucky tho, since the overall environment definetly is more friendgroups going on vacation to party, rather than backpackers / solo travellers! I was expecting the far out beach club to be way better, but when they had special dj nights it was a good time. Pool, bars and restaurants are all nice. I stayed in a glamping tent and got two singlebeds and enough room for myself, didnt share with anyone. You have a locker, and a fan, and a plug in. My bed was covered in ants after day two (eventough i didnt have any food in the tent). They tried to fix it with spray but didnt really work. I just used the other bed. No locks on the tents so thats a bit scary, but after the first night you dont even think about it. The girls i met had an apartment at far out and it was very good. The beach outside is seriously 10 meters away and the most beautiful. The prices in ios and the part we stayed at are pretty high tho! Def recommend more as a group!

Not the best for solotravellers

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give it no stars I would 

This is the worst experience of my life, we arrived at ‘hostel’ at 2am in the morning not expecting much but I wasn’t ready for the hell that was a waiting. I was given a garden shed to stay in,  the shed wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests , with soiled sheet & rubbish everywhere so we requested to change rooms,  we was given a room which was cheaper then what I paid for. We arrived into the new room this time a hut, and a busted into tears ( legit tears) from what I saw. The sheets looked like they were alive with bugs, cockroaches, silverfish & grasshoppers er to name a few. I knew from that moment on I wasn’t going to stay here. So at 4 am in the morning I found myself looking for a new accommodation to stay in for the week. I lost my money for the booking but it was worth then staying in that hell hole. If you care about basic hygiene & your mental health you will not stay here, disgusting doesn’t even justify that place.

The manager was so unless & helpless , and gave us an attitude of what now when we came to complain and was  reluctant to give me my passport back.

That place is legit hell on Earth

LIVING NIGHTMARE

If you value your sanity and basic hygiene DO NOT STAY HERE. Even giving this place one star is a joke. We arrived here at 2am and was sent to our shambles of a shack which clearly wasn’t even cleaned after the previous guests left. The sheets where dirty with brown streaks and other ominous marks, the bin was overflowing and the beds not even made however the ants on the pillows seemed comfortable enough. We asked to change rooms for the night and was sent to a hut which was cheaper than what we originally paid for. There we were met with a range of bugs such as cockroaches and silverfish on the beds and under the so called mattresses (which was basically slabs of old foam). We couldn’t even bring ourselves to stay here and when trying to leave and get our passport was met with attitude by the manager. This was by far the worst hostel I’ve ever stayed at in my time of backpacking in Greece and I wouldn’t even wish this place on my worst enemy! (if I had one)

We booked a little apartment months ago and when we got there we were sent to some dog house for three people (picture attached).
I know you don’t go to Ios to rest but this is almost not human. 
We asked the manager on the second day to change and he agreed after a lot of negociation to give us a bigger dog house but it is still not what we booked and paid for (120€ per night).
These owners do not respect the booking you have made, you might end up in a depressing place.

You don’t get what you book

We stayed for a couple of days.
The place is not that bad, if you don't care about sleeping or not mind being thrown up upon. Literally. I'm not even joking. There is puke all over the place, like the shiny valley of vomit.
When we arrived, the place felt nice, we went to the pool and chilled, nice place, but the waiters, oh boy, the waiters. I get it, if I drink you make money, but girl I DO NOT want to go see your dj, let me chill. They kick you out at 3 if you don't want to rave.
If you wanna go to sleep at a reasonable midnight/1 a.m., you can meet the impossibility yourself.
I get it, it's not the owner's fault, but man, everyone is messing around, screaming and I swear to god (and I know I might sound repetitive) vomiting all over the place.
Wake up at a reasonable 8 a.m., you will see tons of people sleeping in their own vomit or just collapsed all around. It's disgusting.
If you want to sleep and also party, don't worry, you can still go somewhere else.

Vomit land

We got recommended this accomodation by everyone we talked to but honestly felt it was overrated. We opted for the ‘Basic twin private- shared bathroom’ which was a white circular hut, you will see photos. There needs to be more clarification when you are booking as to what you are getting. All round it was a really fun atmosphere and they had lots of events on and the shared spaces (except bathrooms) were great!

Where do I begin with the bathroom?? They are absolutely filthy, the most disgusting I have been to out my entire hostel jumping travel life.

The bathrooms weren’t cleaned the entire 2 days we have been here so far - and if they were cleaned then yuck because they were still horrible.
The toilets don’t have toilet paper. They also alternative between having faeces stains or vomit stains. Which is disgusting.
I didn’t attempt to shower here because the showers hadn’t been cleaned and they looked filthy.
There is no hand soap - not even a container for hand soap and there is no hand dryer.

For your own hygiene and sanity stay somewhere! 

The cabin however was decent and had aircon which worked well. Only issue was the bathroom which is a major issue. 

THE BATHROOMS ARE FERAL! 

It's a great place to party and an easy spot to catch a bus that arrives every 20 - 30 minutes.  It's a great balance between the relaxing atmosphere at the beach and the loud and crazy party scene at the pool/bar area.  The all you can eat pizza is the best and their drinks are way more affordable than some of the other towns we were at.

My only complaint is the tented rooms were horrible, hot, stuff and paper thin mattresses.   Next time i'll book a room.
