We went there on a chartered trip, picked this hotel over the ones closer to the beach since it looked so beautiful. And it was way above expectations, we got an apartment highest up in the small building with a balcony overlooking the harbour. On top of that we had our own rooftop terrace that you entered through the bedroom, that was one stair up. Bed was the most comfortable I ever had in Greece (and I have been there a lot!), kitchen, living area and the bathroom were all new, spotless and everything brand new. A walk down to the harbour took a few minutes, but like others already said it's a quite steep hill to walk back so not for disabled people.We hired a car to see more of the Island,a must even though some roads can be a bit challenging!, and to find parking close to the hotel was not a problem. But we were there in the beginning of June though, might be different during high season. A very quiet area since it's located where it is, so no disturbances from cars etc. If I go back to Karpathos and Pigadia this would be the place I would book again, 

Lovely apartment close to the harbour

Recently renovated room in a quiet location but only a 200m walk to the harbour.  The bed and pillows were new and very comfortable,  the extra blanket was clean.  Best bit was a modern bathroom with an enclosed glass shower unit,  not the usual splash area found in most greek rooms.

Although getting to the hotel required some thought,  the one way system means you can drive down to the ferry exceptionally easily and quickly,  avoiding the waterfront queue almost entirely.

Immaculate 

The Epiphany Suites which sit about 3 streets above the port are quiet and have been newly decorated this year. Large rooms with a comfortable bed, good mattress & pillows (a huge plus in Greece!), table and chairs, balcony with furniture and a good kitchen area with full size (quiet) refrigerator.  The bathrooms, also newly refitted have modern shower units so no more wet floors!  Owner was charming and helpful  all this for a extremely good price. Highly recommended. 

Newly decorated & worth every penny

So delighted with our apartment - amazing views over the harbour from small balcony and large private rooftop terrace.
Room 9 a duplex apartment was well furnished with very comfortable bed the bedroom had ensuite toilet and basin and downstairs a lovely shower room.
Vivi did a great job tidying and cleaning our room daily and was very friendly even allowing us undisturbed lie ins in the morning as we are not early risers.
Mike was a welcoming and charming host and so helpful in sorting out a hire car situation with the company concerned when we had a problem.
It has to be said that the great view is due to the location of the apartment up quite a steep hill  but it is only a 2 minute walk to the centre of pigadia - perfect for the huge selection of good restaurants and bars.
I would highly recommend both the epiphany and pigadia for the wonderful relaxing environment needed for a great holiday.

Beautiful studio apartment with terrace

The man ”Mike” who owned the place gav very perverted looks and played with the ”I dont know westernculture”-style. Me and my friend had some beers everyday and one day we was dancing on the balcony with a beer and some music and the old man Mike came the day after and told that he knew what we were doing and that we shouldnt do that(???). Also when leaving the place we had to pay for the safery deposit in the room which they hadnt told us. 5 euros/day... when i tried to say that it was silly not to write that on the website he got very rude and Said some personal mean things to me.
The ”cleaning lady” did not clean at all, she just moved some things. We forgot to take photos but the floor was everyday dirty and the sheets aswell.
