In years of visiting Karpathos, this is the worst place we have stayed. Rude, dishonest and unhelpful management. Dirty, dark, noisy and stinky rooms. Room smells like a cigarette bar and bathroom like an outhouse. They will not clean room properly or as often as promised, have to practically beg for a clean towel. Hotel has no lobby or waiting area, the restaurant attached is separately owned and they harass guests to purchase something, even on the beach since they require payment for umbrellas. We sat down to wait for our room and within two minutes the restaurant staff came to request payment for use of beach chair. No privacy anywhere since you must walk through restaurant to get to beach.  Rooms are very noisy, can hear everything in the other rooms and restaurant and the cars on the street are practically driving through the living the room. This is also one of the farthest hotels from the city center and the grocery store. Almost anything else is a better option than staying here.

Unpleasant

Now here: studios as you imagine them, cleanliness, simplicity, kindness. Great tavern and bar under studios where you rent 2 beds with umbrella x 6 euros a day for 2 people.The structure is a few steps from the center (15 mm walk if you're a bit away) but close to all services such as supermarket, car rentals x that the island goes around in a quiet car x that has narrow but well paved mountain roads that allow you to reach paradise beaches!!!! It's the island of goats (tantes), cats (tantans), white and blue villages that burst out of rocky mountains from the ground like the eyes of the sea!!! It's not for fashion and casinists or graffitiers to go around the island in a calm manner x that has narrow but well paved roads that allow you to reach paradise beaches!!!!

The sun, the sea and the blue...

Lying on the bed, looking thru the window of the balcony and watching the sun rising over the sea. It is unforgettable. Everyday cleaning, nice stuff, low prices and for a little extra charge you can stay until 6pm on leaving day. When we'll go back to Karpathos ('cause we must), sure that this will be our accomodation again.

Perfection on the beach

1) Very noisy- The bedroom is very near by the road and you feel that your bed is in the middle of the road.
2) It was very dirty - it is the first time that I stayed in a hotel room and I had to clean it. 
When we complained about it instead of come and clean it they provided us with cleaning materials!!!
3) No wifi 
The positive thing is that I had found a better value and of course much more clean hotel and I left without second thought...
P.s. We had the "lack" to stay in the room that the photos show....

My accommodation there was a Nightmare!!

The room's display was very pleasant, sea view directly on the beach of Pigadia, which is not among the most beautiful in Karpathos. The cleaning of the room was very poor: the underwear, which was originally supposed to be white, had a grayish color; the bed was never repaired, except on the days of changing the sheets i.e. every three days; there was also a problem with the sewers because occasionally an almost nauseating smell was felt.

We stayed here for a week in the apartment of 4 people. Very nice house, fairly new and well kept! Very nice and available girls. The beach is just across the street, with sand umbrellas and shovels. At the various figures of as much as 5€ a day! Beautiful water and perfect temperature! To visit absolutely the DIACOFTIS beach located behind the airport. Fine sand and white... show! Then 6€ for 2 shovels and 1 umbrella (more or less coastal so everywhere). Another beautiful one is ACHATA! Other to the gymnasium. Unfortunately having rented a 125cc scooter for only 3 days we could not give up a place. A good advice is not to go back to the gymnasium. A good advice is always to go back to the gymnasium.

It's a beautiful island!

We've been back to Bay Watch for the second time this year for 11 nights. We've also chosen Bay Watch because the view of Pigadia and the sea from this point on the coast is fantastic and the possibility of being directly on the beach - without roads to cross - I'm forgetting some discomfort; we've brought our pillowcases and a couple of towels, but still both towels and towels are changed every 3 days and they can happen to be remodeled and not smell.

Right on the beach.

I stayed at this location on the Greek Island of Kaprathos from July 8th - July 24th. The rooms are actually like mini apartments and have a kitchen available with sink, stove burners and refrigerators. This was great because you can buy groceries and cut costs on meals. 
We rented the larger room for 4 which is across the street from the beach. The smaller units for 2 people are ON the beach and have the most wonderful view of the ocean and port. 
The location is about a 25 minute leisure walk from town center which is great because it is quite after 11 p.m. at night. Also, it is the last hotel on the main road on the beach so it is not as crowded as other locations. 
The staff was helpful and very nice. The rooms were clean. There were 4 of us and we had enough room without feeling cramped. There is a restaurant on the premises, not affiliated with hotel, but is great for a quick bite to eat. They also have a bar on the beach that allow you to sit and view the ocean while having a drink. 
The beach has chairs and umbrellas for rent a daily rate of 6 euros for 2 chairs and umbrella for an entire day. You can leave your towels on the chairs and go back later without worry that you will lose your spot. 
The only issues that a traveler should be aware of is that there are no phones in the rooms/apartments and internet is spotty. This is an island issue, not particularly a hotel issue. If you have a cellphone you should be fine. There are also internet cafes in town that are great for connecting should you need to. 
The sunrise is beautiful from this location. Staff speaks both Greek and English. It is a small location I think about 20 rooms, but that adds to the charm. You feel like you are on a Greek island rather than a resort. So if you want a large resort this is Not for you. But if you want a cozy location ON the beach this is for you. I would stay there again.

Perfect Place

The place is undoubtedly ideal for any kind of excursion, whether by scooter or car. The structure also offers a very nice bar, and a restaurant where you can have a good dinner at various rates. Unfortunately, the cleaning is non-existent, the dirty sheets stained and with an unpleasant smell... not to mention the bathroom, never cleaned all week long! The kitchen floor is definitely dirty as well as the dishes. pots are very few. The place is good for the location, but unfortunately we feel we should not recommend it to anyone who wanted to find order and cleaning

Never again.

Nice place on the beach, 20 minutes walking from Pigadia. The studios Baywatch and the café-restaurant on the ground floor have not the same owner. We had breakfast in the studios (well equipped) and never at the bar ground floor. We tried instead the Atki studio (nearby) and it was great (fresh and cheap). Every apartment has a small kitchen, a refrigerator, a satellite TV (BBC,..).
The view from the balcony is wonderful (we were on the second floor); there are only three studios on the ground floor, all the others have view on the beach and Pigadia Port.
Markets, pharmacies, tavernas and car rentals are on the street behind Baywatch. The rooms are cleaned everyday, they changed the towels every three days.
Two beach chairs and one umbrella cost 5 euros a day. Only note, Pigadia is a sand beach so if you go on July/August beware the Meltemi (the typical wind), which makes it difficult to stay in the beach. But you can always move on the north part of the Island, protected from the wind (you may need a car)
Overall, wonderful location, perfect to explore the island but having all the services nearby!!
