We've spent a week at the half boarded-up facility. Great breakfast and excellent dinner. We've stayed in a beautiful, renovated apartment, complete with everything.

A good holiday in carpathos without thought

The cafeteria with snack bar is absulutely perfect. The lady in charge is totaly professional and kind! Daily fresh food. Tasty fruit packed in the fridge. You Can also have breakfast or snack direct in bistro🙂 Full recomendation!!👍🙂

The experience is more than positive. Simple and super clean. Room refurbished and towels changed every day (except Sunday). Good breakfast with choice of both sweet and salty. The renovated room is a little small, but nice and with all the comforts, there is also a terrace. The friendly and available staff.

A simple vacation

I spent the second week of September with my family at this small hotel and everything went according to expectations. I already knew the restaurant of the hotel having already had lunch with us a few years ago and having appreciated the excellent Greek cuisine offered. Amoopi is a resort with splendid beaches with different characteristics that out of season are more enjoyable and less crowded, all reachable from the hotel on foot in a maximum of ten minutes, but keeping in mind that on the return it is all for children and older people. In short, it could be a little strenuous in the hottest hours. In fact, to fully enjoy the entire beautiful island of Karodos, I recommend renting a car (a small resort on the premises is possible) otherwise we can only move to the public toilet (also the city and the amenities), but we have a nice bathroom and all the amenities and amenities of the hotel, but we do not want to leave the hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Esperida for a week. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The sea is a short walk away. The tavern is the best we've tried on the island. Super recommended!

Excellent tavern and reception

Authentic local dishes and how do you feel at home family management friendly polite prices right fish great like pre-orders and the famous orange cake and then that say about eve always smiling and also speaks italian and trust it is not fake and spooky like so many restaurant owners basically ultimately tavern recommended to full votes

Activities with finishes that may be a little outdated but with the characteristics typical of the island. without giving up the comforts anyway. What makes this place special are the owners and their collaborators. Always busy and always smiling. From the maid to the boys in the living room. And I also see them in the kitchen. I haven't seen them but I enjoyed their dishes.

Feeling at home

I have been to Greece (many places) 5 times in the last 20 years, and this hotel ranks among the top. It is exactly what I love about island life in Greece. The room was clean and comfortable but not pretentious. We had lots of hot water and a little kitchenette with a local bottle of wine. It was cleaned every day. The air conditioning was adequate and not bone chilling while lying in bed. They provided very nice laundry services. All my underwear was folded very nicely in a new style that I have since learned. Breakfast was tasty - I had yogurt with delicious homemade accoutrements every morning, but sometimes there was homemade halva or tiropitakia. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. She had a nice book of local karpathian beaches that informed our travels. She recommended the spots to visit, the places the rent cars, the ways to do the things. Like most small business in Greece, they were great with kids. This is also the site of the best restaurant in amoopi (a locally accepted fact). We had loads of options but ate here 3 times, and I will tell you we like to spread our custom around. You know us.

Must visit

I had stayed in this hotel fifteen years ago, when the bay of Amoopii was almost deserted and there were very few facilities. I remember very pleasant breakfasts in the company of cats, the rooms were Spartan but the food was excellent. I remember the warm welcome, since it was still low season - at the end of May - the owners had time to stop and chat with us and a good friendship was born. I remember with great pleasure that vacation. This year I returned, since we were many we stayed in another hotel, of course I returned to this restaurant and I found the same quality and the same human warmth. According to my friends who saw the island for the first time, even this restaurant is better than Karpathos Bravi.

Always a good experience.

I have been to Greece many times but it was my first time in Karpathos and I searched for a small place to stay. Esperida was perfect for me and my family. It has a wonderful restaurant with fresh cooking daily. The rooms are always clean and we had a nice little kitchenette that we could prepare some food to bring to the beach and snacks for kids. There is a mini-market across the street and several beaches close by. Some friends of ours stayed at a really large hotel nearby (paid around 3x the price) and it was a very different experience - busy, loud, expensive food, etc. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for something smaller and quieter.
