Well located on this small island town, with pretty views across the harbour, depending on which room you stayed in.  We were in an apartment, which is yet to be updated, but was comfortable and clean, and spacious.  Some of our party were in the recently renovated rooms which were extremely light, airy and pretty.  The staff at Poseidon were wonderful - friendly, happy to assist, and welcoming.  Breakfast was great with a good selection.  Having a very informal bar arrangement for a late afternoon drink in the courtyard was great.  I recommend staying here to enjoy the very warm hospitality of this family business.

A great hotel on a beautiful island

The perfect place to relax and recharge after a long couple of weeks exploring Greece. Located in Kastellorizo’s main harbour area. Welcoming and friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms.
I would definitely recommend the Poseidon Hotel as a place to stay.

Great hotel in a great location.

I can't praise the lovely staff at this hotel enough. We are a family group of 7, these people looked after us like family, they are what makes this hotel so special, the people running it. 

We had a few rooms, they were all well appointed, fresh, tidy, amazing view of the harbour from our room, exceptional breakfast at the cafe below.

The the ladies in reception, housekeeping and the man who runs the cafe, thank you very much for making our stay on Kastellorizo so enjoyable.

The hotel is great, the staff make it amazing!!

We stayed with my friends for three nights from 19/08 to 22/08.
Widespread hotel made up of 8 buildings all very well kept and close together. Very nice, spacious and clean room with sea view.
The breakfast, excellent, is consumed to the extreme under the pergolas, all very nice and well-kept.
The hotel provides beach towels with sunbeds and umbrellas directly on the promenade.
In conclusion a very nice hotel with very kind staff. Warmly recommended

Beautiful experience

We stayed one night in this nice little hotel just off the harbor in Kastellorizo. We had a nice, very large room, with a little kitchen area, table and chairs, big bed, desk area, and a good-size bathroom. Floors and walls were in cool gray shined concrete (only minor issue being toe-stubber step to bathroom). The staff were very nice (and let us get into our room early the morning we arrived, as we had come over from Kas on the ferry), the room was quiet and comfortable for sleeping, and the breakfast was good in the morning.  Wifi didn't work while we were there, but that seemed to be a wider Kastellorizo problem. Hotel location was great for the ferry, harbor and wandering through the old town. Highly recommend St. George’s island nearby for the best swimming we had on our whole trip. 

Cute hotel near harbor

I stayed here for 7 nights, and I could have stayed longer. My favourite island and Poseidon made our trip even better. The staff were friendly and did everything to ensure our trip was perfect. The breakfast was great, lovely rooms clean and modern with great views and balcony, some rooms also have outdoor terraces. Beach towels are offered and sunbeds are also close by next to the water. There is nothing to fault, from the cleaning staff to reception and owners, everyone was great, thank you.

Perfect Island Stay

It is a great place to stay in Kastellorizo. Staff and owners were very kind and helpful. Especially Evi, working as a summer intern, was very hardworking, helpful and hospitable. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with a good view of island bay.

Calm place, nice food, good weather and sea.

We had a 3 night stay in Posidon. The owner and the staff were all so hospitable and helpful. We felt really nice and welcomed. Our room was situated on the first floor of one of the residences. It was a bit challenging to move the luggage but thankfully we had help from the staff. The room is brand new and fully equipped. The room was really spacious and that felt really nice. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was a really enjoyable experience. The air-conditioning was working fine and in an islands like Kastelorizo, where is scorching hot, it was an absolute necessity. Wifi was working well too. The breakfast was amazing, you definitely have to try it. The owners mother in law makes excellent pies!!! I would definitely visit again, I had a great time!

Memorable stay in an amazing island

We came back at Poseidon Hotel this summer on August 2021! 
The location is excellent. During our stay the International Film Festival was ongoing just in front of the hotel.
A special mention regarding  the smiley Anna at the reception who was so kind and patient to arrange the reservation with changes during the previous weeks. The owner Mrs Amalia always very kind too. I will certainly come back to Kastellorizo, a unique place in Greece!

Excellent location and service!

We definitely had a pleasant stay at poseidon. 
The staff, especially Anna, was very charming and attentive to our needs, which is a plus. 
Anna recommends us the best places, food and amenities, guided excursions as well as where to find the best tasty food in the island.
She is very professional with a strongly human touch that marked us the most. 
We definitely do recommend Poseidon. Once back to Kastellorizo/Megisti, we will choose again the hotel and have Anna as our main host.
