Fantastic

Without a doubt a very nice hotel with a spectacular view of Lake Kastoria. It is located on a hilltop and can be reached by a beautiful panoramic road, has a large parking lot and very large rooms with as many large balconies. Very clean and friendly and caring staff.

What a sight!

We definitely thought this was not a 4* hotel - 3* at best.  For example, there were almost no toiletries provided.... only some generic shampoo in a wall dispenser. The breakfast was very poor - lukewarm coffee, deep fried croissants, honey in tiny pre-pakaged pots (in Greece!).  The decor was all glass tables, chrome and laminate flooring. We had noisy aircon that leaked all over the balcony, broken lightbulbs and the chambermaid left her cleaning products in the bathroom.  This was also the only hotel on our 3 week trip to charge for water and make the fridge unusable by packing it with paid-for items.

The hotel is a long way out of the town - car is essential - and surrounded by unloved stray cats. It was a soulless place. Functional but below the standards expected of 4*. No tea or coffee making facilities. Management also unfriendly.

Not up to standard

This is a characterless hotel that doesn't live up to its rating. 

My bedside light was broken, the (noisy) aircon unit left the balcony flooded, the cleaner left cleaning equipment in the bathroom, the fridge in the room was so stuffed with items being sold to guests by the hotel (including bottled water, the only hotel I stayed at in Greece that did not offer free bottled water) there wasn't room enough for my things that I wanted to cool. Finally,  the breakfast was poor - many items to choose from, but not many of them appetising: I ended up skipping breakfast altogether.

On the plus side, the hotel was fairly quiet, and so far away from the town there was no chance of being disturbed by its (very) distant nightlife.

I would rate this a 3-star rather than a 4-star hotel.

Disappointing

The hotel dominates this beautiful town of Kastoria... the room was huge and very comfortable, with impeccable cleanliness... bathroom like this... breakfast with this view... and we also had a terrace... free parking just outside the hotel...

What a sight.

We had an excellent stay at Enastron View Hotel at Kastoria! Located up the hill with an amazing view over the lake. The staff was very polite, welcoming and accommodating. The room was very spacious, clean and with a nice balcony.

Excellent stay! 

Enastron (which means in Greek, a sky full of stars) view hotel is a positive surprise for a city which unfortunately is in decline. Excellent location, superb view, spacey luxurious rooms, quiet, with friendly service and a generous breakfast.

Room with a view

We looked for a place to stay in this charming small town. We found the name and the location and we drove up the hill to see the hotel. Once you left your car there was no question - The view from the hotel over the lake, the town and around is stunning.
The hotel is neat, quiet, excellent reception team.
The room is huge with a balcony to the view. Breakfast was very nice.
Go and enjoy - It is a lovely place in an interesting nice town.

the hotel is on a hill that is just out of kastoria its  brand new and rooms are huge and pretty . from the balcony you can see lake kastoria and its fascinating.breakfast is very good and tasty and the staff as well.
