Kastoria

Nice location, with lake view. Friendly, helpful and hospitable hosts. Homemade breakfast, we had almost everyday different options. Tiny bathroom, this might be a problem for tall visitors.Well-furnished room.

Nice location 

I had the opportunity to visit this friendly and warm hotel, in the heart of a fairy-tale town as Kastoria, Greece. I was coming from a trip to Barcelona, from a 5-star chateau, and yet nothing compared to this small and beautiful hotel I came across by chance. I felt being home instantly. The rooms were so clean and cosy, very comfortable and unique in architecture. I wished I could stay there forever! The view from the lake was enchanting, breathtaking! A very nice breakfast, same as prepared at home. The staff was so friendly and helpful : it was like I knew them from a lifetime. They blessed us as we left for the trip back home. I'm just speechless! I am soo looking forward to next time!

Like living a fairytale!

I spent my mini vacances (3 nights) with my family and friends. The hotel remained the same as before 4 (?) years. Excellent rooms, excellent view (just in front of the lake) in the traditionell quarter of DOLTSO and with plenty slots of parking. 
 Breakfast is very good and rich, there is a change every day and if there is a special demand, it will be fullfilled.  The sitting room of the house is very good to sit and have a drink especially if you are with a group.
 The owners, the three sisters Bakari are very gentle.
Obviously the BAKARI House is a very good solution to stay in Kastoria for those who appreciate the home hospitality.

SECOND TIME TO BE THERE

Me and my wife stayed at the hotel for 5 days during the last week of January 2018.
To start with, the location of the hotel is quite unique. It is very near to heart of the old city (Dolco) and at the same time it is located right at the lake front.
The interior design of the hotel is very well thought off. It has a 19th century aura combined with contemporary touches. The facilities are very well cleaned and mantained to the point that everything is looking to be in brand new condition.
The breakfast set up, although is not of a buffet style, is sufficient and of a top quality (handmade and with local touches).
The rooms are medium-small size without being uncomfortable. The bathroom though was very small, although quite ergonomic. From this point of view, the hotel is better suited for couples rather than families with children.
The hotel staff (it is a family bussiness) was very polite, responding and helpfull.
The hotel's Wi-Fi was working fine and there was always a (public) free parking space outside the hotel. The TV set-up needs a little bit of re-work (only greek channels are availlable).

A nice small hotel with a friently warm feeling at an excellent location.

The owners are most friendly and warm people. The room was medium sized, very clean and the furniture, bathroom and all were as they were very recently put. All well decorated. The breakfast was a very nice surprise- fresh juice, coffee and handmade toast, cakes, pies, and marmalades. The general feeling you get is that they put a lot of effort to get the best possible result. And because of that you get a positive feeling and leave pleased with the accommodation you got.

Very friendly, welcome and professional!

It's a beautiful little family-run hotel. I felt that for the short time I was there I was welcome in the family. Every question about the house and the place was answered expertly. There were very good tips on what I could do in Kastoria and background knowledge about the history of the city. The breakfast was personally freshly prepared for each guest and was delicious. The room had a wonderful view of the lake, was large with a good bed (mattress); the bathroom today is not very spacious.
