It was perfect, spotless clean, modern, a little palace.
Cleaned regularly throughout with fresh towels provided each time. 
The pool & patio/BBQ area are relaxing, well maintained, clean and with breathtaking views. A perfect place to start and end your day or even spend the day as we did. 
Perfectly situated for our needs, peaceful, tranquil and private. Not too far away from everything Skala & Poros have to offer, just a short drive to both. We often walked to the nearby beaches and restaurants which are faultless and utilised local taxis for Skala and the hire car for further afield and exploring. 
The villa has everything we needed and communication was excellent. I would return tomorrow in a heart beat, but will have to wait till next year.

Perfect in every way

We stayed for a week in Villa Aphrodite as a family of four with children aged 4 and 7 years. The villa location is great if you want to be a little more secluded, we hired a car as we know Kefalonia well and we knew we'd need it because walking to town with two little children was a no go. The villa was clean throughout and had a lovely views of the sea. Everything was ready for our arrival and the villa was well cleaned throughout our stay (towels etc replaced regularly which was great). The villa had three double bedrooms all with ensuites. Plenty of outdoor furniture with a decent bbq and a swing bed which was a unique touch. Sadly, we did feel the villa had a few downsides, the grass was unkempt when we arrived which gave the villa a scruffy appearance when we got there. The pool which is described as heated, we felt was not heated, we asked several times for the heating to be turned on but I'm not sure it ever really was. Our children loved the pool but became very cold very quickly, therefore we could only use it at the hottest time of the day and only for a short amount of time, the pool also needed a thorough clean at the bottom of it. We also felt there should be a welcome folder to advise of how to use the safe and the WiFi etc, this is something simple that should be added. We also felt that the TV and radio/CD player needed an upgrade. We could only get greek channels on the TV or the news in English and the radio station kept changing when we changed the volume. No we didn't just go to Kefalonia to watch TV or listen to the radio but things like this really do help when you have children to entertain! We did feel the children were bored alot and we had to spend alot of time out of the villa to occupy them. It would have been nice to be able to spend time sunbathing around the pool. Lastly, the curtains in the downstairs bedroom were too thin which made the bedroom too light at night and early in the morning, we remedied this by pulling the outdoor shutters on at night to give darkness, it was still annoying however and could be easily sorted out by the owners. We don't think we would stay here again unless some changes were made. 

A week stay in Villa Aphrodite

Wow. What a great base for a holiday on Kefalonia. Superb air conditioning. Comfy beds. Wonderful terrace with amazing pool and sun beds and the swinging hammock with bamboo awning was fab for chilling with a book. Five stars!!!

Family Holiday 2018

We had a wonderful stay in Villa Appollon.  Beautiful sea views, absolute tranquility.  Very clean house, everything you need for a self catering holiday.  You need a car though to get to shops and restaurants.  About a 4km drive into Skala which is what adds to the serenity.  It is possible to walk about 10 minutes towards Skala and fine a  small car park with a path to two beautiful coves ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Enjoy

Lovely villa with peace and beautiful views

These villas are a little secluded, about 5 km from Skala. They are fairly well equipped and the private pool is lovely.
3 double bedrooms with en-suites. Only 1 with a decent shower that did not flood the floor, but comfortable and clean.
It took us a couple of hours to reassure ourselves we were in the correct place. No sign, No booklet with "welcome to... and here is what you can do..."
Wifi is offered, but the signal is very weak and frustrating. So beware with teenagers (it was a looong week...)
There is NO phone reception, no landline.
Don't look at their website, not many things are true about the place. Facilities have been copied and pasted from some hotel website - we looked for the mini bar and the pool bar! :)
Treat it as a holiday home, not, as we did after reading the website, a hotel. I had expected housekeeping with regular cleaning of the villa (after all, this was MY holiday), but the lady who was supposed to clean did not come when she said she would and when she did come she was only really happy to change sheets and towels. 
Don't forget to bring dish washing tabs if you are planning to cook at home, nothing is supplied, no tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, etc. as it would be in a hotel.
Walking to the beach is possible, but a bit of a hike. Walking back after a hot day at the beach a little more difficult - mostly uphill. Same goes for restaurants.
