I spent 10 wonderful nights at Villa Reverenza, the pictures on the web reflect the reality in the studio.
The studio is 6 minutes away by car from Lixouri where you can find everything you need, grocery stores, restaurants and you can take the ferry to Argostoli
The rooms are very clean, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
It is cleaned every day, towels are changed every 2 days, there is parking at the location, the internet works quite well.
 The hosts, Menia, Teo and George made sure that our stay was perfect and were responsive to all our problems.
They also welcomed us with our "4-legged" child at no additional cost.
In 2025 we want to come back to stay longer.

A perfect choice !

We chose Villa Reverenza to stay during  the first 5 days of our stay in Kefalonia. 
We stayed in a cozy apartment, with a large and comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower  that, despite not being big, suited us well, and a balcony with view to the sea and surrounding mountains.
The hosts are friendly and helpful, and despite not speaking very good English, they have the support of their son in case further assistance is needed. 
Four parking places are available with no extra costs (renting a car is essential to explore the island).
Lixouri village is less than 10 min away by car, where you find supermarkets,  restaurants and shops. The most beatiful beaches can be reached by car, 20 to 50 min driving from there. 
The service was excellent, the apartment  was always clean! We had a pleasant stay and highly recommend this place!

A happy choice to visit the most beatiful beaches of Kefalonia!

Spacious, clean and cozy room in a very convenient area, close to Lyxouri village. Hosts were very friendly while also helped us with everything we needed! Parking is not as much easy if you have a long car but still people will do the best to serve you. Pets are also welcome which we liked as we have a tiny lovely dog! We recommend this place whether you want to have peaceful and quiet stay!

Spacious room and friendly host

Great location to visit the most beautiful beaches in Kefalonia. 
Villa Reverenza is clean, pleaseful and comfortable.
The owner us a very sweet and helpful man and the apartments offer everything you might ever need. 
For example me and my husband are gluten allergics and the owner even found A LOT of glutenfree products for the breakfast.

Great apartments, we really had a nice stay here and the beaches near by (near Zola) are stunning! 

We will certainly come back.


Villa Reverenza - Absolutly perfect!

The rooms seem to be spacious, newly decorated and clean enough. However, the bathroom is extremely small and the mattress very-very hard. Furthermore in our case, although we had booked a sea view apartment, we finally got one with sea side view (at the same price!). The whole building is not so isolated as it is seems at the pictures, but a bit stuffed between other houses.

Not such a value for money choice..

This was an excellent stay. The room is spacious (one bedroom, one living room with an extra bed that can host a third person and a bathroom) and it is fully renovated.
The good impression starts before one even sets foot on the island: once I ve booked, an email came, composed by the son of this family-run business, George. George gave fantastic tips about food (not pricey but great tavernas, for normal people who value their money and don't want to be charged a fortune, while having great sea food or traditional kefalonian taverna food) but also about beaches. Be sure to study this email properly!!
Another important thing about the room is its cleanliness. Like I said, it is a family business and it is cleaned by the mother herself, because she wants first of all herself to be satisfied of the cleanliness of the rooms. It was being cleaned every day and towels were changed every day. She even folded my clothes on the bed and put my shoes aside: it was so moving, it was as if my mother had entered the room and cleaned it; it was pure personal care.
The room is absolutely quiet and it is really fully equipped: There are kitchen utensils (forks, knives, spoons, a frappe coffee mixer, cutting boards, wine opener), a garbage can with a bag in it and -surprisingly enough, as i have never seen that in rented rooms- a hair dryer in the bedroom's drawer. You are going to need the utensils if you are planning on spending some night in the room: buy stuff from 2km away Lixouri super markets, cook something and enjoy it in the room or the beautiful barbecue space the owners have built.
The internet connection is fine, and if there is any kind of problem, George will be willing to solve it for you:)
The whole family have a discrete presence, they are there whenever you want to ask something.
To wrap up, I think Villa Reverenza is well worth the good reviews it has, and, for me, it is the proof that when something is done with love, care and most of all, work, will definitely be appreciated.

Excellent stay!

It does not happen often that I check out of a hotel so much satisfied as in the case of Villa Reverenza! True, my standards and expectations are high when it comes to cleanliness and concise service. Their website is also absolutely accurate to reality. The owner is an excellent, easy going host, always willing to assist with guidance and recommendations as well as deal effectively with any upcoming issues. You’ll probably gain your first positive experience(s) by your very first contact(s) for info or bookings.

The lodge is situated nicely in a quiet piece of country site 5min (by car) out of Lixouri town, where you’ll find a great selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc and from where you may board the ferry to Argostoli as a carefree alternative to the rather fuzzy car ride round the Livadi bay. I was personally so happy to be located only 15min away from my two favorite (greek traditional) restaurants in Kaminarata village and on Vatsa beach! The location also offers easy access to numerous nice beaches.

I cannot omit referring to what I consider a substantial “bonus feature” of the rooms: the existence of a mesh before all doors and windows to keep the uninvited “wildlife” out of your room! Well done Villa Reverenza.
