The view from the rooms of the Folies is a gigantic animated and wonderful poster of the Ionian Sea between the island of Cephalonia and Corfu. We stayed in a room on the ground floor with the Spartan furnishings equipped with a cooking corner, refrigerator and private bathroom, very clean (linen and towels changed every day) and silent. The real added value: the Giorgia. Always available, wonderfully excellent, excellent and conversational instinct (also in believable).

A wonderful island, a wonderful sea, wonderful people, like Mrs. Georgia who stands out for sympathy, willingness and kindness, always present in the structure and takes care of herself to make the guests look good.

A wonderful vacation.

Stayed in room 9. wonderful. Apartments were empty most of the day. So quiet it was wonderful.  Will definitely be coming back. Hills all around.. Get a car. People(locals) are wonderful. Geogias  was amazing. A real gem of a place.

Stayed for three weeks in 2019.

Lower floor room (no. 7) was very disappointing. View not good and no privacy, as other guest have to walk past the room. Did book early this year and did request upper floor room, but when arrived we were put in room number 7. We asked Georgia if there was as chance we could swap rooms, she said they were all full, but if any became free she would swap us.  We asked again during our second week, even a couple of nights would have been ok.  After our second request got he impression Georgia was avoiding us. Rooms not particularly clean, bins were emptied every day. Certainly not go back.

Disappointed

I have to say that I have not stayed in this place but I have to do this review to explain the unfair behavior immediately and to warn the other users of what could happen to anyone. I had a reservation made for this studio (I still have the documents) for a week in August (made about April/May). In July I get contacted and informed that the studios has gone into overbooking or they have booked more rooms than they have and that then we have to go to another studio (I asked myself: I could find it now at the end of July!?).

Unfaithful Behaviour

Cefalonia is a fantastic island, sea, nature and hospitality, hospitality, three summers at La Signora Giorgia, every day there is a great service, the studio is comfortable, well organized, clean, the bed is comfortable, the laundry, changed every three days, the green structure, beautiful view of the Lourdata beach, a motorized vehicle, recommended.

Holidays 2019

The  place is very comfortable, clean and with breathtaking view from most of the apartments. Georgia the owner is a wonderful host full of politeness and alertness for her guests. The apartment was spic and span clean with the option of a small but fully functional kitchenette and a big refrigerator. It was also very airy and could host comfortably 5 people. A great choice for both families or couples or group of friends

We want to come back

Me, my Wife and my Daughter stayed 4 Nights at the Folies Apartments in Lourdhata. Upon our arrival the Owner Georgia welcomed us, a very kind person who immediately made us feel at home. In the apartment she made us find dried fruit, fresh water, ice cold beer and everything necessary for the first needs .... The apartment is equipped with everything: linen, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, parasol, mats for the Beach etc.etc. It also has a balcony with a truly magnificent Sea View !!! Every day on our return from the beach she made us find the apartment very clean and with the towels changed ... Thanks Georgia for everything and we hope to still be your guests! Magnificent Stay at the Folies Apartments

Just arrived back from Folis Apartments very clean  and well equipped and the owner was very kind to let us stay longer on our last day. Air conditioning extra but very much welcome and not overpriced. We stayed ground floor, so our view not so good but we went out everyday. As most places in Kefalonia a car is a must.  An ideal base if you intend exploring the island .

Spotless

We stayed here from June 37th to July 5th. Simple apartment but equipped with everything necessary. Exceptional balcony with sea view. Georgia, the all-rounder, kind and available owner. She also provided us with a support room having arrived before check-in.
