Hotel located in an excellent strategic location: close to the pedestrian zone and the center, easily accessible by car. Park on the street without problems. Very clean rooms of different sizes, equipped with kitchens. and with new generation locks. The owner, Anna, welcomed us with affection and is extremely available. We are back for the second time and we feel at home! Thank you, Anna!!

It's good to be back!

We stayed in this hotel, but it's all mini apartments, ours was on the second floor and it had everything. The owners were friendly from the first day and treated us very well. The cleaning was done regularly every morning and the changing of the clothes every 2 days. We recommend it to everyone also because it is located 350 meters from the main hall of Argostolico rich in bars, shops and taverns. From there we always went out walking in the evening even having two girls aged 10 and 7 years to go to make appetizers and dinners in various restaurants.

This is a great hotel.

The Hotel Byron is located at the upper end of the steep downtown of Argostoli. This gives the hotel (of course depending on the room) a good view of the harbour/centre of Argostoli and can also be used as a starting point for a short walk to the surrounding coastal sections/books (the center can be reached in less than 5 minutes). sights such as the lighthouse or the War Memorial can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot. The hotel itself is run by very nice people and offers everything necessary. The rooms are clean and offer enough space, even if the weather was not quite accompanied. For us, the hotel is sometimes adequate (2-2 persons) and the price ratio has been perfectly matched.

Kefalonia1: The port city of Argostoli

If you want a new, very central (but extremely quiet) structure, close to the main roads of communication (airport, port and main roads) with an owner always ready to help you, then congratulations you have found the hotel that works for you!! I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights where I have changed towels every day and sheets 3 times (notable by local standards), the room (N=103) very spacious and illuminated has all the comforts for a serene and trouble-free holiday (kitchen, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, steel with axle, several cabinets, safety deposit boxes and above all a large bathroom).

It's just perfect!

Today we returned from a vacation in Cephalonia, we stayed at the Byron Hotel in Argostoli, an excellent location to reach every destination on the island. The hotel was beyond expectations: very clean, welcoming and Mrs. Anna always available for every need and to give advice. In the hotel we also found an umbrella that was very useful when we went to the many and beautiful cabins on the island. If we return to Cephalonia, our hotel will surely be the Byron.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and were satisfied with our choice.
Check in/out fast and efficient. 
The hotel is about 500 meters from the harbor street and the center.  It is safe to walk at night, but you do need to walk up a somewhat steep hill. Otherwise, you can drive. Parking is possible on the street for free, but finding a space can be tricky (parallel parking only).
The studio apartment has a fresh, newly decorated atmosphere. It is one spacious room, with a kitchenette (well equipped), a table and two chairs, a bed, dressing table, cupboard (safe inside). Sockets next to bed. Lighting good. 2 towels per person, iron & iron board, sun-umbrella. Information material available in the room. Balcony shutters were great – no light came through in the morning. 
Bathroom clean, complimentary soap & shower gel.
Wifi free, worked fine.
2 balconies, but both facing the street – and it was very loud. However, you could sit on the small verandah, facing an inner courtyard, and it was more peaceful there. 
Overall, the only negative aspect was the noise from the street – but if you shut the balcony doors that seem to have double glazing, you did not hear the noise anymore. 
Overall, good value for money (45 E/night).

Good choice

I received a lovely welcome from the host who gave me lots of tourist advice and information.
My studio was very spacious,light and well equipped and decorated.
It wasn’t too far from the bus station and ferry, and a short walk to he pedestrian street with shops and restaurants and bars. It could be a bit noisy as it was near to a main road, but there was double glazing.

Beautiful and spacious studio

Perfectly positioned on this peninsula, still has views of the lagoon and is only a few mins to the beach. Has a supermarket around the corner, as you are able to be self-sufficient, if you want to. Plenty of restaurants and bars at your disposal otherwise. The room is cosy,and has 3 balconies! The bathroom suite is modern and clean. The only issue is solar powered water, which is expected at most hotels. My partner and I had a lovely time here. 

Apartment, not hotel...

Hotel located in a strategic area in the capital of the island in a position from which you can easily reach the most beautiful beaches of Cefalonia as well as the center of Argostolion. The rooms are all equipped with services, hair dryers, kitchenette, outdoor table with chairs. Simple but clean and with every comfort.

Excellent location- cordiality and kindness

A small and modest hotel with a very good location, located in the center of Argostoli a few minutes walk from the harbour promenade and where most shops, bars and restaurants are concentrated. On the street of the hotel is easy parking. Modest, but spacious and clean rooms, comfortable bed, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, private terrace and community courtyard and wifi is what needs to be improved, intermittent connection. Excellent room cleaning, daily towel change and very economical price. Excellent attention from the owner who helped us a lot to find a rental car. We came from Zilerthos, island much more touristy and get to Kefalonia not to find that there were only agencies at the airport.
