A wonderfull experience of vacations in a great place. Dogis resort is an amazing place with amazing view of mountans and sea, very nice people with warm sense of greek hospitality. A place to relax, that combines the beauty of nature!!!

Peacefull place!!!

We stayed there for 7 nights and this place is very relaxing, quite and comfortable. Agia efimia an other places are nearby. Adriana is a very lovely person an makes your stay unforgettable. The Appartments are very comfortable, well equipped and spotless clean! The view to the valley and the mountains is stunning!

If you are looking for a stressles and quiet holiday, your are happy with booking this place.

"quite and relaxing place to be"

Nothing was too much trouble we were looked after so well by Adriannia and the family.  We were met by Adrianna and she showed us around. the accommodation was amazing the bedroom upstairs is huge lots of spAce and plenty of storage.  The kitchen is on the bottom floor Adrianna had milk bread biscuits and tea for us which was much appreciated also bottled water.  The accommodation is spotless cleAn towels every other day also the sheets were chAnged every 3 days we were very impressed.

Adrianna advised us a few beaches to travel to we were not disappointed please if you make it to Fiscardo  check out Dafnoudi beach you have to walk along a trail but it it worth it. I would advise getting some scuba shoes as soon as you get to Kefaloni as most of the beaches are pebble really helps and they are not expensive.

The local taverna was really lovely the owners extremely friendly and the food is excellent.  Our favourite taverna in  AgiaEfima was The Pergola absolutely fantastic fresh homemade food you get a complimentary pudding every night which was the same at our local taverna.  The local wine is lovely and extremely cheap.  

Only our opinion but avoid the taverns at the harbour by the shops got a terrible meal at one the owner was overbearing was pulled in it is the only one in the front that does Greek nights not genuine.  Offered us complimentary wine then charged us really felt uncomfortable.

That said had a fab meal at "the local" run by a Greek family the only taverna to remain open all year round please visit.

There is so much to see in Cefalonia you definitely need a car we were independent for the first time and it was fantastic.  Hire your own car but take care especially on the roads you need head for heights but it will be a holiday you will never forget Cefalonia gets under your skin and you will return.  We hired boats on two occasions once in Agia Efima from a Dutchman in between the bakery just past supermarket total cost plus fuel €90 for day sounds a lot but worth every penny was amazing.  Second day we did not book took a chance travelled to Fiscardo on our last day lovely lady and son on front had some boats.  Ithaca is a short distance a lot of bigger boats took up the shore so we could not get in close enough to anchor so did not enjoy as much.

Back to Dogis resort thank you Adrianna gifts were left for us on our anniversary and  bottles of the own wine we will return.  I had a lesson in squid we got up early one morning travelled to Sami got some fresh fish Adrianna showed me how to prepare it fantastic

Perfection

This is simply the best place if you are looking for a beautiful quiet retreat.
The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with everything you could wish for to hand. It is only a short drive from Agia Efimia & Mrytos Beach. It is essential to have a car. It is well situated to explore the island, particularly the beautiful villages and towns in the north of Kefalonia.
Adriana and her family make you feel so welcome, and nothing is too much trouble.
I can't recommend this place enough.

Just Fabulous

We are just back from a wonderful week in Dogis Resort. It is in the hills above the sleepy fishing village of Aghia Efimia and run by the wonderful Adriana. We feel awful that we couldn't meet up to say goodbye this morning (and our son wanted to give her one last hug). The apartments are very nice - spacious and immaculately clean. Adriana has a beautiful herb-filled garden and lent us beach equipment, gave us lemons from her tree and was generally the personification of "Philoxenia". The setting is glorious, so good to be in a real Greek village. We were woken by the "morning cacophony" of local dogs barking and cockerels crowing, which made us feel part of the countryside. We did get super-lost on the way there so make sure you have good directions, particularly if you are arriving after dark, but Adriana's husband came out and rescued us, which was very kind.
