Clean and comfortable room, close to the airport, about five minutes' walk. Owner Denis is a friendly and available person who helps guests to enjoy their stay to the fullest.

I'm on vacation for the first time.

Wonderful place, don’t be put off by how cheap it is!  Incredible value for money and fabulous room. 

Beautiful white room, with lovely touches, powerful shower, and free amenities. And free water too. 
Comfy bed and the room was Spotlessly clean, great aircon and quiet. 

The owner Denis, is so friendly and welcoming - and even showed us the 3 bedroom apartment next to our room, which would be amazing for a larger family.

We actually used the room for a day before flying out, for which it’s perfect for and would also stay here for longer. Or would even stay if we arrived late at night to avoid the nerve-wracking drive up the mountain!

Two min walk to the airport, and also a short drive / ten minute walk to a fabulous sandy beach round the corner.

This Place is close to the airport - it is about 5 minutes from AirPort by walking.

Excellent stay

The owner is a perfect host. Accompanied, helpful and very friendly. Super practical if you need a skill to get the plane the next morning. Villa Sophia Elena is pedestrianised. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable!!

Very warm accommodation

We just stayed in this property in the luxury apartment on two levels, in 4 people. The villa is well maintained, the apartment is very spacious and really nice, equipped with all the amenities, including a washing machine Honey, boiler, coffee machine, axle and iron stirring. Air conditioned in all the rooms. There are two bathrooms and two large terraces, with living room and sea view. Very nice beds. Every day the apartment was very clean and on alternate days they changed all the laundry. Very comfortable position to visit the island, there are some beautiful beaches and 15 minutes from Argentina for the evening. It is close to the airport but the noise of the place is not a disruption, but at any rate the water and footwear of Dionisio. We have been very happy to hear the need for our house and every bottle of oil and greenery was always available.

I stayed one night at this perfect hotel to catch a flight home early in the morning. the owner was very nice. we called him to ask him how to get to the hotel and he told us to wait for me where you are.

Hotel near the airport

Flew into airport late at night so wanted a inexpensive hotel close to airport. This hotel had good reviews so decided to give it a go.  Delightful Dennis met us in person and showed us to our immaculate room, complete with fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and toiletries.  It was a shame we were only  staying for one night.  In the morning he showed us his two bedroom apartment which he was very proud of and rightly so! 

Fantastic clean and friendly hotel walkable from the airport

We booked a night here at the last minute when we realized that we wanted to stay near the airport the night before our departing flight rather than doing a before-dawn drive on Kefalonia's twisty roads. Dennis was charming and helpful.  The room was clean and spacious and it was a great value.  We had a rental car but yes, we could have walked to the airport terminal in less than 10 minutes if we had needed to.  At the time of year we were there (mid- October) it was quiet; we slept well. Highly recommended if you are flying early in the day.

Perfect before an early flight

We moved to another facility because we were dissatisfied with the unprofessional service of the owner who turned out to be invasive and disrespectful of privacy. He came in and out of our room with the cigarette lit. He was arguing with the cleaning lady in our presence. What was serious was the loss of an expensive dental medical device used by my companion that we did not find once we got back from the beach. The owner not only did not take responsibility for what happened but had an aggressive and arrogant attitude towards my companion.
