Had to cancel our holiday because of COVID back in 2020 - we were promised a refund and we never received it. Had lots of emails saying the money was on its way and never got a penny back. 
Hope this place is closed and no one gives them anymore money.

Stole our money

We booked a stay and had to cancel it because of Corona pandemic. We were told we would get the money back after 18 months by the owner. We did get an email in which we were tolkd that the money could not be sent and about problems and so on. Plainly just excuses. Now the phone is not answered and there is no more communication happening. Result for now: Money completely gone. Please be warned to book anything with this person!

No comunication - no money back

We had two weeks here in a studio. When we arrived the key was left in the door, we had to wash all the cutlery and crockery before we could use any of it. The room itself was relatively clean but everything is so dated and old,we had to call the caretaker to get clean linen which we did;nt get for 36hours covid 19 was used as an excuse. 
In the description of the room it said there was a toaster and microwave  which it did not have. 
The bathroom was typically Greek with a very good shower and plenty of hot water. As already has been said the location is very good but there are 57 steps to the top floor so is not suitable for anyone with health issues.
Although we had a lovely holiday we would not come back.

Well!

We get told the 3 things that matter in real estate are location, location, location!  If that's the case then Santafemia must be best place in Agia Efimia as it's so close to town and tavernas. 
If you're after great views in Agia Efimia then Santafemia must be amongst the best!
And if you're after a delightful landlord/hotel manger, then Santafemia is again at the top of the list.
However, if you're after luxury accommodation then Santafemia isn't the place for you.  Frankly it's tired and rundown with mismatched cutlery, crockery and glassware but everything you need is there and the aircon works, so if you're happy to see past the aesthetics then this is a fabulous place.
It is very cheap considering the location and view, but don't expect 5 star, and don't expect double beds either.  Saying all that, we had a fabulous few days once we got used to the 60's ambiance.

5 Star Location, 5 star location, but 3 star accommodation

we spent 4 days in the larger 2 bed apartment in August along with my husband and 2 teenage children.  The apartment had everything we needed and it was lovely sitting on the balcony watching the boats come and go.  The owner is charming and the first thing he said to my teenage son was "don't worry.. we have wifi".. He also left water and fruit in the fridge for us on arrival.  We will stay here again next time we come to Agia Efimia

We stayed in the 2 bedroom family apartment last week of May (2adults & 3children) and found them to be great value, perfectly placed accommodation for our family holiday.

Orestis (the owner) lives upstairs and he is a lovely man. Nothing is too much trouble. We received a warm welcome on arrival with fresh fruit and water left in our fridge and the fruit was replenished once through the week too which was a nice touch.

Apartment is cleaned every other day and is at the quieter end of Agia Efimia bay which was perfect for us. It’s 30 metres from a supermarket, fabulous bakery and really good restaurants. It’s a perfect base for exploring the rest of the island. A car is a must as there are so many stunning places to visit.

Highly recommended.

What a find! 

Superb week in Agia Efimia. Studio room had all we could wish for and location perfect. Walking distance of
the many tavernas on offer. We miss it!! Staff lovely and rooms cleaned daily.
Views out of this world and a couple of nights after exploring the island (we hired a car) we enjoyed sitting on balcony listening to owls and looking at Ionian sea with wine and snacks from local supermarkets.
We will return - Kefalonia is just beautiful and Santafemia a great base.
Studio on top floor with quite a few stairs - fine for us but may not suit some. Worth it for views!  Thank you!! We'll be back!!

This has to be the best apartment ACCOMODATION We have ever stopped in .The owner and staff are as friendly and genuine people as you will find .the ACCOMODATION and views from our apartment were second to none with lovely balcony and views across the harbour and bay.The ACCOMODATION is so spacious and spotless with every electrical item you could possibly want .This is an ideal place to stay to cover the north part of the island if you intend to hire a car and really  see this outstanding island .We are moving to the south of the island today and would be thrilled if our next apartment is anything like as perfect as this .MANY MANY thanks to the SANTAFEMIA.from John and Wendy Cragg .
