Basic but clean apartments. A small amount of self catering equipment, I'm not sure if you coukd cook an actual meal as I didn't try. 
I found the bed comfortable, & a bonus that the pillows were quite thick.

The owners parents were friendly with very basic English spoken. I didn't meet the daughters that own a block of apartments each. I know at least 1 lady works full time.

The garden is astro turf not grass.
Hot water 24 hours a day, which is unusual for apartments. Typical Greek tiny shower, with a shower head you have to hold. Water always escaped under the curtain so the floor gets wet, but that's typical of apartments in Greece too.
Towels & sheets changed every other day, & room cleaned daily.
There is a safe in the wardrobe which you are not charged for.
A slow 7 ish minute walk to Kefalos Market & the beach. There is a small supermarket closer. 
I didn't mind the morning walk but I found it difficult walking back in the heat.
I've booked for next year.

Kefalos is a very quiet resort. Definitely not for young ones wanting to party.
Plenty of restaurants to choose from along the harbour road.
No taxis at all in Kefalos, just so you are aware. If you book somewhere in the old village or set back away from the beach you'll need to get a bus & they stop quite early.

All in all a good place. Very typical of Greek apartments on the islands

Basic but clean, & well worth staying at

I booked kefalos studios because I had seen them on a previous visit, and the location is perfect. Just past the main church, and within 5 minutes of the beach and supermarket.
The studios are well basic, but have all you need for basic self catering. Towels and sheets were changed 3x per week and there was always hot water, even early morning. 
All the studios overlook the garden area and get morning sun. By 8am it is already too hot to sit out, but there is a back balcony which gets the breeze and is cooler to sit on.  The room was unbearably hot at night, but didn't use the air con as was on my own and the €7 per night was too expensive. I would suggest to the owners they could rent out fans. Would not have minded paying €20 a week to make sleep more comfortable.
On the negative side, the fridge did not work properly as the door to the ice box did not shut, and the toilet took ages to refill with water. Toilet paper was not replaced. Only provided with 1 roll for 2 week stay and tea towel never washed. Minor issues aside, the studios are comfortable, quiet and would definitely book again. No pool, but you can use other pools.

Perfect location. Peacefull holiday

We arrived in very early season so not a lot was open nearby but, on hiring a car, discovered several beautiful beaches. The apartment had a double bed, a 2-ring hot plate, a fridge and a kettle. There was also a balcony and a small bathroom with a shower. It was cleaned and towels etc replaced at least every other day. 

Small yet very clean with helpful staff

The small complex very Greek and dated but spotless with sheets/towels twice a week change. Plenty of parking space. Basic cutlery but ample for Self catering needs. Nearest supermarket 300yds. ten minute walk. Kafalos Supermarket 20mins. walk very friendly staff lovely rolls, try the apple pie. If you shop there free beach beds/brolly. Elsewhere  E5 to E8.   Changing Money no banks only 2.cash machines. 

Quiet peaceful and clean.

Spent 10 days here after booking through On The Beach. The studio was clean & serviced daily by friendly staff. quite basic but that's all I wanted. Close to the shops, restaurants & beach. Self catering so you get to try a number of local restaurants.  I would happily stay there again

Clean, Basis, Cheap

Me and my son stayed her for a week and we both thought that one more week would have been good since it was a very familiar place, well cleaned and nice people 
For the price it was very good 
A quiet and peaceful environment
It’s not far from the supermarket or the restaurants, nor the beach

I have only one thing to complain about and it’s that nowhere does it say how you get the key to the rooms when you arrive at 3 am in the morning 
So we awoke the owner who got a bit angry for not noticing that they wrote our name in a slate

But overall we are pleased with everything 
We would come back again

Sun and bath vacation

Lovely apartments very clean an comfortable good Aircon an lovely views.

 And very peaceful area great place to relax an lots off Amazing beaches near 10 mins walk or more depending which one u want to go to and lots restaurants near .

.Also v freindly an helpful owners. 
 Here at at moment as is v nice 🙂

Beach hoilday 

We spent an enjoyable 3 weeks here and for the price we were happy with our room.My wife does not like aircon so we took a very good standing fan for 15euros per week.Disappointed that the tv was disconnected,the owner pointed to the sky and said too much money but we would have been happy with the free to view greek channels as they broadcast many english films etc.with greek subtitles.The owners were friendly enough,extra pillows no problem and rooms cleaned every day,towels and sheets the same.If you are looking for budget accomodation then you will not get much better than this.Overall very satisfied for the price we paid.

Value for money

We stay here every year, we love the location and family, they are cleaned often and have just enough in the way of equipment to call it self catering. You can leave apartment safe in the knowledge your property is safe. We stay here every year.

Basic but clean, lovely family in a good location

Before arriving I was concerned about some of the reviews.  I have holidayed in Greece for over 20 years and can honestly say there is nothing wrong with this place.  It is typically Greek and basic but certainly did not see cockroaches and the cleaning was adequate.  We were greeted by a mature Greek lady who tried to carry my suitcase up the stairs,I quickly went to her aid and felt honoured that she even offered to help.  And I had a lovely view over to kastri island from the balcony.  Lovely memories.
