We travelled independently from UK to this family owned accommodation and communicated directly with Stella by email. Our taxi transfers were arranged by her and everything was spot on.
We stayed for 2 weeks in the budget studio, ground floor with small street side terrace, chairs and umbrella, the entrance is separate to the main apartments. The sun shines on the terrace only briefly in the morning but there is a lovely roof terrace for everyone in the main apartment building.  A lift is located next to reception, then you walk up 1 flight of stairs to the terrace. 
Provided on arrival was a bottle of water, little milk portions, a few  teabags, carton orange juice & bowl of mixed fruit. The fruit was replenished mid holiday by a huge delicious supply of grapes, maybe home grown?
This little studio has everything you could need, for a self catering holiday, a small oven/grill, hob, microwave, a good selection of pans, plates, dishes, utensils, knives, even cling film and drinking straws! Only thing we noticed missing was oven gloves! There’s no toaster, used the grill. Mosquito repellent plug in, washing up liquid, I can honestly say I have never stayed in a more well equipped self catering accommodation. A safe and very good air conditioning was included in the overall price.
The reception is only manned at certain times, maybe these times could be displayed on the door. There is contact information displayed should you need anything or in an emergency.
The position was ideal for us, just around the corner from the lovely beach where 2 sunbeds and an umbrella were 5 euros and  lots of lovely restaurants. It was just 12 – 15 minutes walk from the centre of the old town or harbour. Where more restaurants and shops await!
There are a couple of Mini markets within 2 – 3 minutes walk and a large supermarket approx 7 minutes walk. 
Excellent  holiday, can’t wait to come again!

Me and my wife have stayed a couple of times in Iro Apartments hotel, since we like to stay in Nea Chora when in Chania.
This time we wanted to experience Crete in the winter so we stayed for a month in an apartment, that Iro apartments have in Nea Chora, from 20th of December to 20th of January. The apartment is just over 50 m2 with good space outside. It is well located, just 200 m from the beach where we were able to take a swim a couple of times.
Stella takes care of everything and supplies you with what you need in a kind and helpful way.
We were able to travel a lot around Crete as usual, but the apartment was our home away from home (we live in Iceland) for a month and this was a very enjoyable experience.

Thanks for everything Stella and Michalis and we hope to see you again in October!

Great apartment!

Nice place to stay, we travelled with Apollo from DK, and stayed in apartment 14 with the sea view. 

We got lucky as the weather was as warm as in September as we were told by a captain of one of the glass buttom boats in the Old town.

We swim a lot usually at all our travel destinations and we enjoyed the beach and the short distance to it here as well as the fine rocks and sea life for swimming and snorkling every day. 

The manager and her family was extremely helpful with guiding about restaurants, food, wine, bakeries, local experiences and trips to go. We experienced them as being very attentive and kind, showing highest level of hospitality. 

We didnt use the aircon but if we needed to, we would ask to have it cleaned, and surely it wouldbe fixed with no doubt.

Nice holiday!

I spent 3 weeks in September 2018 in the Studio Apartment and can highly recommend staying with this very friendly, helpful and obliging family.  The family maintain very high standards of cleanliness; apartments are cleaned 6 days a week and the bed linen and towels are changed 3 times a week. Plenty of hot water in the shower. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook-in, right down to a potato peeler. The bed was very comfortable; the wifi connection is very good and the property is a heartbeat away from the beach.   If you don't want to get sand between your toes then the rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas and tables and chairs is a good alternative and perfect for enjoying a Sundowner.

Excellent all round

This family driven hotel is perfect for a relaxing holiday in Chania. We stay for one week in August 2018. Only a short walk to the beach.  We went for a morning swin every day! And 15 minutes walk to the Old Harbour.
Very clean and comfortable appartment:  We had a lovely balcony with sea view, where we had  breakfast. Would love to go there again.

Lovely hotel in Nea Chora

We have just returned from our holiday in Chania. Iro apartments was a wonderful place to stay.  The rooms were more than adequate and very comfortable and kept very clean by Marianna ( 6 days). The family as mentioned by other reviewers are warm, friendly and always obliging.  The situation of the apartments are ideal only 1 minute from the beach, 10 -15 minutes to the harbour.  I would certainly recommend these apartments to family and friends. Great place to stay hope to go back.

Wonderful Visit

We came to Greece for our honeymoon. We stayed in Chania for 4 days and we were very happy! We liked the hosts! We ordered breakfast in the morning straight to the room prepared by the hostess. Super delicious and abundant, with freshly brewed coffee. Her son helped me to return the glasses I had forgotten on the tour bus. We did not expect this kind of care! Location 10 out of 10, 2 minutes to the beach, 15 minutes to the city center on foot. The room is clean and cozy, with terrace and sea view! I highly recommend!

A wonderful cozy place with the most hospitable hosts

A cute little motel in the middle of the residential area in the small alleys of Neo Chora. Two minutes to the beach, where you can also find numerous taverns in the evening. There is nothing missing in the motel - there is even an elevator and a great rooftop terrace. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and very clean - in addition, fully equipped with a kitchen etc. The owner, Stella, makes sure that you feel at home with her mother and brother.

It's lovely, it's magical.

Comfortable, clean, well equipped. A few steps to the beach, yet quietly located. The centre of Chania is within 10 minutes' walk. Very friendly host. Can be highly recommended.

It's a great holiday home.

We enjoyed our apartment. Functional, with a balcony, where we tasted the first coffee in the morning. 6j/7 cleaning, changing sheets and towels every 4 days. The location, a stone's throw from Nea Chora beach and close to the centre of Chania makes it an ideal place for a beach holiday and exploration of Crete. The guests, mother and son, are friendly and helpful. With an excellent value for money, we will definitely return!
