This small hotel is perfectly situated a 5 min walk from the free parking area, yet nestled within the charming old town of Chania.
The hotel dates back to the 16th Century and is steeped in old world charm. That is not to say that the rooms are dated, on the contrary, there is the latest air conditioning units, Nespresso coffee machines, a small fridge, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and wonderful modern showers ….. the bed was very comfy also. 
Breakfast was Continental based with freshly squeezed orange juice, meat, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, pastries and a choice of boiled, fried and scrambled eggs cooked to order.
The view from the communal roof terrace across the harbour was amazing, both during the day and at night.
If mobility is an issue, you should request a ground floor room as the stairs are quite steep.
The owner, Vasilis, who is the grandson of Captain Vasilis, provides a very friendly warm welcome both in the morning and on return to the hotel.
All in all we had wonderful experience.

Perfect Mini-Break

Great location in the midst of Old Town, with nice view of the harbour from the balcony.

The hotel owner went above and beyond with helpful recommendations of sites to see, places to visit and restaurants all of which were ideal for what we were looking for.

Rooms were nice and cleaned daily, would definitely visit again!

Great first week in Crete!

Fabulous stay! Stunning location, and rooms well equipped with everything you need. Vassilis is so friendly and helpful with tips of things to do and see. Breakfast also excellent especially the greek yoghurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. 

3 night stay here in Chania

We stayed in the sea view suite with balcony, and were so happy with our accommodations. Every afternoon our balcony was shaded, so we sat and read and watched the crowds and the beautiful harbor. Vasilis, the owner of the hotel and the grandson of its namesake, was so helpful and friendly. We will stay here again if we are ever in Chania.

Perfect stay in Chania Old Town

Charming,small hotel in the historic old town.We had a lovely room with a stunning view across the harbour.Limited facilities but that suited us.The only negative issue we experienced was noise at night due to its prime location right above the harbour strip.We only stayed on Friday and Saturday night which may account ,in part, for this but visitors need to be aware if staying in any of the many harbour side hotels.
