My sister and I spent two nights at Elafonisi Resort - what a gem! We had a studio apartment, which had a very modern kitchenette and dining area, as well as a private patio with a dining table (we ate outside most of the time). Our beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was also very modern - good Wi-Fi, strong A/C, excellent water pressure and instant hot water in the shower. Everything felt very new, updated, and clean. We made breakfast in the room and ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant - the food was great and very reasonably priced. But what really makes this place amazing is the staff! They were SO friendly and helpful - I left a bag in the closet when we checked out and they went above and beyond to get it back to me.

Absolutely loved my stay.
Room 21 was comfortable with a wrap round terrace and great views.
The restaurant was staffed by people who obviously enjoyed their jobs and were happy to accommodate solo diners with smaller salads,mains etc.
I would recommend highly.
Well worth the trip from Chania to enjoy the beaches early mornings g and sunset.

Wonderful!

Beautiful, picturesque location, and perfect accommodation. The room we had was modern and had everything we needed. The bed was big and comfortable. We had a huge balcony with a view of the olive trees and mountains which was lovely to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. 

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant on site was delicious and very reasonable. We had the fresh fish and local wine at the waiter’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. 
The view from the restaurant is beautiful and hosts a wonderful sunset. 

We stayed for two nights which was perfect as there isn’t loads around to do other than the beach (which is beautiful!) but very glad we did come and stay. 

Couldn’t recommend this place more, thank you for a wonderful stay. 

Beautiful place to stay, 100% recommend! 

This resort is a piece of paradise on Earth. If you are planning to visit Crete, this is a must!

I loved everything about this place: the stunning views of the mountains and Elafonisi beach (literally five minutes walk and you'll be in one of the most beautiful beaches you've ever dreamed of!); the olive trees in which the resort is immersed; the symphony of birds, sheep, and goats passing by; the superb restaurant (plenty of delicious options, very reasonable prices, and always a complementary dessert and raki); the warm hospitality and kindness of the owners and staff (a special mention to Maria, Costas, Yanni, Arturo, and Katerina - thank you so much!).

The rooms/houses are aesthetically very pleasing and strike a nice balance between a minimalist/modern look and traditional design. The bed was very comfy and, again, the views simply breath-taking.

You can see and feel that the owners have a true passion for what they do and put lots of effort in providing the best service to their guests.

I can't wait to visit again already!

Paradise on Earth 🌴🏖️⛰️

I can't describe how amazing is this region. This hotel fits perfectly with the place. Super organized and clean, Giannis welcomes you with a giant smile and warm welcome. Like arriving "home".  I stayed in one house, with a large bed and balcony, fully equipped to cook and eat. Wonderful decoration. The resort (from Giannis family) has a restaurant where you can have wonderful meals. In case you are in Crete and have time to visit the southwest, stay there. And say hi to Giannis for me :)



My favourite in a 10 day trip!!!

We were here for lunch, before heading down to the beach. There was a lot of people here and the the service was unfortunately pretty slow. The view is great but the food is medium. The seating area was very warm and places to get shadow was very limited.

Lunch-time

The hotel was in the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful blue water and pink sand of Elafonisi beach.  It was nice to go back to the hotel and relax instead of driving back to Chania.  After a well deserved rest, we got up the next morning a beat the rush of people trying to find a lounge chair at the beach.
The rooms were very clean and modern.  The only downside was that we had asked for 2 rooms and 1 of the rooms need to have 2 single beds.  We got 2 rooms with 2 double beds.  It was a bit ackward for the 2 people having to share a double bed.  The hotel wasn't very apologetic about it.

Great place to enjoy Elafonisi

The hotel is very close to the beautiful Elafonisi Beach, so you can be in front of the large crowds in the morning and without having to go to the beach. We got our room in the annex building a few meters from the main house, including the restaurant. The food in the restaurant sounded very good, but we didn't try it. Breakfast was not included, but you could have got it in the restaurant. The car could be parked in a carport on the property in front of the accommodation. It was very good, but there was a lack of warmth in the service.

Close to the beautiful beach

We took a bus from Chania to Elafonisi and stayed two nights at the Elafonisi Resort and we are so glad we did.  Our room was beautiful surrounded by olive trees.  So restful.  Room was very clean with a spacious balcony.  The restaurant provided all you need.  The food was delicious.  Everyone was warm and friendly and welcoming.  We felt staying for two nights gave us the opportunity to explore the beautiful beach without hordes of tourists.  The sky at night was unbelievable due to the lack of artificial lights.  It felt like we were immersed in the Milky Way.  Recommend highly.

Highly Recommend Elafonisi Resort

I immediately adored it for the convenience of the Elafonissi beach (very few minutes by car) where you have to arrive early in the morning and return in the evening! The place is charming, immersed in olives, quiet and recently renovated. Our ground floor apartment is more than nice with olive terrace and in the distance to the sea, at night you can see a spectacular sky, an unforgettable dairy road! Let's say that some details would be better taken care of (the cleaning is slightly below my expectations) but being just details, given all the advantages it offers, including a very valid restaurant, the daily change of scented towels, reserved parking and comfortable in front of the room for me is promoted and definitely recommended!
