Great 3 night stay in a lovely house, easy walking distance to beach, restaurants etc (we stayed at Villa Ocean). The owner was super nice and helpful and very understanding as we were joined by our dog who is afraid of strangers. We really appreciated how he dealt with that situation and couldn't recommend this place more to families or friends travelling with their pets.

The K4 Kastellas seems to be at the end of the world with its rock and roll access but what a place!! Overlooking the Aegean Sea, this hotel is simply sublime. Cycladic villas furnished with a lot of taste, attentive staff... EVERYTHING to make the place unforgettable. KYTHNOS is an island forgotten by foreign tourists and what a joy to taste the real life of the Cyclades... for this sublime discovery Thank you

It's amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at K4 Kythnos - it was exactly what we were looking for. We booked this as an AirBnb, so we were not expecting a hotel (no nightly cleaning etc), with that in mind this was a very nice AirBnB.  Marios gave us his email and was very responsive with any questions we had from where to eat, night life spots, etc.  He also drove us to the grocery when we first arrived and saved the day by taking us down to port when we couldn't find a cab to come and get us.  Something to note:  this is about 20 minutes from the port, so you definitely need a car or scooter if you want to get around as cabs are not frequent on the island.

The houses are nicely built and decorated, lovely pool, super quiet, comfy bed, STUNNING beach. However, please be careful if booking this. The photos are done by a true professional. The walk to the beach is quite steep so if you have mobility/ knee issues it would be good for you to know. Also read the below:

Owners it's hard setting up a business, so here is some feedback for you:

- We had to ask for toilet paper/ soap/ pool towels etc. These are basic needs.
- The toilet bin (you can't flush paper down the toilet on the island) were not emptied regularly, sometimes every 4 days. Not as hygienic as people would like
- There aren't enough pool towels for all the people there. I had to keep the same towel for the whole week. 
- Only 1 room in the villa has a sea view, this should be clearer
- The road OUT has no sign posts and takes you on a scary/ old road because the satnav takes you that way. Please, please for the safety of your guests put some proper signs up.
- There are no water amenities e.g. kayak/ SUP/ snorkelling kits when the beach is STUNNING and it would be so easy to make more of this
- It's the small things - some small flowers in the villas/ music by the pool/ decent coffee/ cleaning the massage table so when you put your head through it looks nice/ a mirror in all the bedrooms....

It's more of an AirBnB than hotel

Excellent location with great view. M4 Kythnos properties are well designed. Fully functional for a family, with all the necessary amenities to really enjoy your stay. This is the best choice to enjoy Kythnos island.

K4 Kastellas, despite the beautiful infrastructure and the magnificent view, is not a luxury hotel but rather a concept....for an introspective retreat but not for a summer holiday of discovery of the Greek islands. The main reason for this is the distance. Access is by a 3 km road in very poor condition, unpaved but above all unsecured to the most dangerous places (two, three very dangerous places). At night, it is still a concept.... As far as the concept is concerned, we have also asked for the housekeeping of our room and the replacement of the barettes on the 3rd floor. For example, the breakfast schedule, cupcake, is set at 10pm.... In the most frequent time of the day, it is not equipped. (G15/2) The rooms of the hotel are very difficult to access, but the dining room and the dining room are very convenient.

Holidays 2018

Hotel is 30 minutes away from Port. You definitely need a car to go around in.to go to the beach is a 10 min walk and 15 min walk to the restaurants. Ocean house 3 is marked for 10 people to sleep which I don't think is right. We had 9 adults one had to sleep in the kitchen/family room but there was no bed. It is a concrete slab with cushions on them.we had to put all cushions upstairs and sleep on the ground. Mind you there is no air-conditioner down stairs at all. Bit of a dissapointment

An incredible experience suggested to everyone.

It's a very spacious and comfortable house, especially in the outdoor spaces, very clean and right on a beautiful bay, the only negative note is the one room is a little narrow with the washing machine inside, the dishwasher is not working and the fact that 4 of the 11 beds are in underground rooms.

A beautiful house on a beautiful island

Villa with a unique view, very close to the sea and to the village of Kanala (both within walking distance), spacious, functional, quiet and aesthetically impeccable with a minimal and modern furniture and some luxury finishing. Nikos, the guy who handled our booking and stay, has been very helpful and full of useful advice (the tip on the leeward beaches proved to be a winner), the cleaning and the tidy up of the rooms every two days have helped a lot. We stayed in 8 (4 adults and 4 children) and each of us immediately has found their own dimension and their own spaces to relax, have fun and enjoy a holiday that, according to the whole group (kids and parents) has been undoubtedly unforgettable .
