Vasilis and Betty were amazing and very accommodating  hosts. We arrived late and Vasilis went out of his way to show us around the small village area . Even provided us with some free beverages and water. Our room was very clean, with AC, and very basic with the most amazing balcany view - ( exactly like the picture shows.) You will be up very high but REALLY worth the climb. Within a  3 minute  walk,  you  will arrive to some lovely restaurants , cocktail bars , boutiques, gorgeous  church, cafes with  again unbelivable views.  Don't hesitate to book this  memorable place .

Views, views, views!!!! The view alone from this apartment is worth it, not to mention the lovely porch where you can enjoy it from.  We stayed here for just one night during a trip to Milos and wish we could have stayed longer. Betty and her husband were so kind and flexible, letting us borrow some beach towels past our check out time and returning later in the day. The apartment is simple and straightforward yet still comforting and quiet. Most of the towns in Milos will have a free parking lot for everyone's use and the lot is just a short two minute walk away.

Amazing apartment with incredible views

All of Betty's studios have great views but there are two locations. The pin on Google maps is for the three older studios attached to her house. She also has a sign there on the pedestrian only street that runs uphill through the Plaka parallel to the cliff. That's where you will usually find Betty and/or her husband. 

The property you want though is her huge newly renovated one bedroom with two expansive terraces overlooking the Mother of God Korfiatissa Church. It is above The Art House if you are trying to find the location. Check the pics with this review.

For parking I recommend dropping people and luggage off at the square in front of the Palaios Cafe and then driving back down the hill past the large free parking area and back up toward Betty's sign. There is a smaller free lot there, just before the beginning of the pedestrian only street, behind a private home where you can walk up from.

Amazing apartment!

Betty’s has two different locations in Plaka so be careful what you book as the views are different and it’s not super clear on booking.com. One location seems to be behind the church, the other - where we stayed is a little further down the hill and has 3 different options:
- an un renovated double room 
- A renovated triple room 
- A renovated double room

We stayed a couple of nights in the first two (not the renovated double). All 3 have amazing views. The sunset view gives the famous Utopia café a run for their money. The terraces are spacious and comfy. 
The renovated triple room is big, airy, nicely decorated and fully equipped. There’s even a washing machine. There’s a big, very comfortable double bed and a separate single bed. It’s brand new and feels luxurious. 

The older double room is stand alone (the renovated rooms are side by side) and has a homey feel to it. It’s snug. If you don’t mind vintage furniture and decoration and you don’t go nuts when the shower curtain gets stuck to your back then this is where you get the amazing view at a more affordable price. There’s no washing machine here. 

If you talk directly to Vasilis (Betty’s husband) you can agree a price based on the number of nights you stay. The location is great - a couple of mins walk down to Fatses restaurant, a couple of minutes up to the great ‘Kayak’ coffee shop and church (sunset is an event there) and the Utopia café and lots of restaurants. 

The rooms are cleaned every day. Value for money is very good IMO. We’d go back in a heartbeat. 

Breathtaking views, cleanliness and lovely owners

We stayed in a lovely small room with awesome view. The room has a unique sea view. Sitting at the balcony and staring at the sea was so relaxing. The lovely couple that own the studios are very helpful and kind. The rooms are less than 5 minute walk from the Main Street of Plaka where all the restaurants are. The room was also cleaned daily and was very well taken care of.

Awesome stay

We were a family of four traveling in Greece on a budget.  We found Studio Betty's before we left.  We had a little challenge finding the accommodation the first evening, but after that our stay was fantastic.  Very close to the Plaka, we enjoyed dinners there; close to the bus stop so we were able to commute easily to places that way.  Betty and her husband were delightful and answered our question. I would stay there again.

Fabulous Accommodation

It was not an easy task to locate Studio Betty! It was by sheer fluke that we found it 
as Google maps places somewhere different. A traveller we met said he thought that Betty had various locations so that could be why?!? We didn’t get to meet Betty but Anna looked after us so well. Room was always clean and well serviced. The room (no 1) had an outside terrace with views to die for! The room was large with basic but adequate facilities. It was a short walk to restaurants and cafes in the Plaka. There was free parking available in Pisa Plaka about 200-300 metres away. 

Superb view

The view is fabulous, The balcony large - worth the money for this alone, Betty was delightful and the room was clean and fresh bedding and towels regularly provided. 
Inside is a little tired and the toilet made interesting noises when flushed ! If a view is a priority do not hesitate to book, if you like an upscale room maybe look elsewhere 

5 star view 3 star studio 

My wife and I have been visiting Milos for about 15 years, and, with one exception, have always stayed at Studios Betty. The location alone, with extensive views across the bay, makes Betty's worth serious consideration. That said, two rooms, designated "superior" are a cut above the smaller studio. We used booking.com to make our latest reservation, and were misled by the site into believing we had one of the two larger rooms, and not the far smaller studio, something that disappointed us as we had previously said we would never choose to stay in the smaller studio. That said, we coped with the lack of space, and still enjoyed the (slightly more restricted) views in the mornings and evenings. The studios are kept clean, serviced daily, and the owners very pleasant to deal with. They seemed almost as disappointed as us that we were not getting one of the rooms we had thought we were. Wifi is good - in fact, the Aegean in general seems to offer more reliable and faster Wifi/3G/4G service than most locations in the UK - and a welcome addition in recent years. What was a bit surprising was the cost - more than twice what we paid the previous week for slightly better accommodation on Folegandros. Possibly a consequence of Milos featuring in recent US/Canada/Australian travel programmes. Certainly US/Canada citizens were far more noticeable on this trip than on any previous trip. Makes other appartments/rooms/studios on the same side of Plaka worth considering. Access to Betty's is relatively straightforward once you have found it - before you enter Plaka, at the bus turnaround, take the small road towards Tripiti and, as you enter Tripiti, take an even smaller road on the right up the hill. A relatively recent addition has been free parking on the right at the top - use it, don't be tempted to use one of the parking slots at the side of the road if they are empty. We used to do this until, one night, our rental car was driven into (deliberately?) and a huge gouge carved into the side - expensive! Its just a short walk from there up the paved path to Bettys - keep to the left without going downhill.
