Nice clean room, access to communal pool with bar. There is a family run restaurant next to the accommodation but it’s very limited on choice. Go access to towns via the local bus which runs every 15mins. Locals are very friendly and some have good spoken English be aware the local supermarkets are very expensive if you get the bus into town the cost of things are considerably cheaper. There are several beach’s in close proximity to the hotel some with sand and some which are stoney but are all nice.

Family trip away

We spent one week to this hotel and it was a really good experience! Nice view, nice food, nice people! Special thanks to Dimitris from reception. He was very friendly with us! Hope we come again next year.

Now this place look very good

The hotel itself is pretty much greek standard: simplistic and clean. No tv, no cooler...but who cares really? I lived there for peanuts and the cleaners were good and regular whilst the staff were very helpful and informative, attentive to whatever I needed to know. But let's not dwell on the hotel itself, let's just say they passed with ease. See they've got a really suave restaurant down there by the pool/seaside. I gotta tell you, the dishes were very affordable and REALLY tasty too (what the hell?!). I'm a sucker for souvlaki and that might not be the most advanced dish but I gotta say it was among the best I've ever had. Another dish that is a bit more demanding is moussaka. Quite often I avoid it simply because it's usually made too hastefully or often it's just too damn overcooked, this resulting in a half raw dish or something very dry on your plate. But not in this restaurant, no way. In fact it was so tasty I had it twice (had to check). Furthermore the service in the restaurant was impeccable, the music was 80s classics and not too loud and last but not least, the view! Swagger in there around around 1900hrs (this being august) and enjoy the sunset with the last light reflecting on those mountainsides. It's a sight alright, very soothing. Had a rough year? Go there.

Low key, clean, efficient. Suave restaurant.

This was the perfect getaway for us, far removed from the mega resorts of Platanias this is a great place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
The location is lovely, a short walk into town and supermarkets, restaurants etc and right on the large and quiet beach. The grounds feature beautifully kept gardens and the rooms are simple but very adequate, as you would expect with this kind of budget holiday accommodation. I would advise springing the extra €40 for AC for the week!
But the real star of the show here is the Restaurant and Pool area and the ever smiling and charming Christo. If ever a waiter can make your holiday it is this guy, he was amazingly hospitable and helpful, a little too hospitable with the Raki at times! 
The food is great quality, classic Cretan dishes, the rabbit stifado was amazing and worth the wait! There is a great wine list including lots of local wines which is really worth a look. Great breakfast buffet as well.
The pool area is great for relaxing as a couple or with a family, plenty of space and a lovely big pool.
Efcharistó to Christo and all the other staff for a perfect, relaxing week.

Beautiful setting, great restaurant and amazing staff

The outdoor area is very nice. From the restaurant and swimming pool there is a great view over the sea. The restaurant has very good service and food.  The rooms were clean but need to be renovated, especially the bathroom.
