We have just returned from our second wonderful holiday at this hotel.
We were greeted at reception when we arrived with a lovely juice drink which was greatly appreciated. We had a superb suite (over the road), which had a lovely view out to sea, perfect for your morning coffee and watching the sunrise, the beds were really comfortable, and great black out curtains.
The food was lovely and great variation, it was nice to get snacks at the various pool bars, which kept our 9 year old daughter going. Breakfast was great with a wide variation of choices on offer, to cater to all tastes.

The quieter pool near the beach was lovely, with the added bonus of the beach front bar, where there were self serviced drinks and amazing baguettes/wraps as well as salad, we generally had lunch there everyday as the view out to sea was amazing and it was very peaceful.

The water park is so much fun, really good slides, enough for everyone, when we went in October half term there was always more than enough sunbeds and seating when we were up there.
Later in the afternoon we would go up to the main pool which was good, again plenty of sun beds, followed by a drink in the main bar, wonderful cocktails with beautiful views of the mountains and out to sea.
As we were returning guests, we received an invitation to a cocktail and canape event, which was really lovely and very well organised. Our daughter loved being treated as a “VIP” and we were given lovely gifts to bring home – we thought this was a really lovely touch.
We would like to say a special thank you to Katerina, who was truly amazing, and went beyond with customer service, also to Stavros and all the bar staff who were truly lovely and committed to giving a great service.
Lastly a big thank you to Kiki who answered all my queries, and made us feel very welcome throughout our holiday.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.


Excellent

We visited Atlantica Mikri Poli at the end of October and we couldn't ask for more.

Kiki was really helpful in the run up to our holiday, upgrading us to a room with a seperate bedroom and arranging for birthday drinks and cake for my 12 year old son and wife in our room on their birthdays whilst we were there.

The room was very modern and clean. The resort was also very clean and tidy - the grounds staff are constantly on the go. The bar/restaurant staff also did not stop and were very friendly. The animation team were amazing. They were full of energy and made the entertainment and the day times games something to really look forward to. The (child friendly) cocktail game and water polo were our favourites.

There are loads of pools to choose from and we never had trouble getting sunbeds even later in the morning. We mainly pitched by the main pool where the games were played but ventured over to the waterpark a few times each day to ride the slides and float around the lazy river.

The food was excellent. We ate in the buffet everyday (except one night in the italian restaurant) and the choices were great, even for our vegetarian son. The poolhouse and creperie were great for daytime snacks and lunch. There was a good range of drinks - Ask for rum slushies at the pool bar.

My wife had a full body massage and facial in the Spa on her birthday and which she said was very relaxing.

Memories cocktail bar in Kolymbia is a good place to watch the football. They had a good range of cocktails, spirits and even ciders.

We hired quadbikes for one day and rode to Lindos to see the Acropolis and then to Rhodes town to visit the Myth Colossos of Rhodes and the Medieval town - Definitely worth the day out.

Overall we had an incredible week away and would highly recommend staying at Mikri Poli.

Perfect October half term break

Fantastic hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food with a variety of meals. Great swimming pools. Picturesque views and beautiful surroundings. Our room was very cozy and it was cleaned every day. My youngest son required a special diet which is very strict but it was not an issue in this case. Everyone, from the hotel reservation manager to the restaurant manager, chef, and other staff members was very helpful and involved.
It is a fantastic place for families!!!


October holidays

We had an amazing time at Atlantica Mikri Poli. Everything was as I wished for or even better. The resort is very beautiful and well looked after, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is very good and varied. The resort offers plenty of space and places for fun with kids as well as relaxed areas with  a calmer atmosphere. The beach is just across the street, which was really no big deal. Sunshade and loungers are 6€ per day, which I thought was ok, since we weren't at the beach every day. The beach consists of little stones and bigger ones in the water. You don't really need shoes for the water but in case you have them anyways it might be a bit more comfortable. There are plenty of shops just a few minutes walking distance as well as at the hotel itself. Very recommended is the restaurant at the beach. You have to reserve a spot and pay a little bit extra but it is definitely worth it. 


Wonderful stay

Exelent vacation. A lot of good food all day. If you can’t find something you like here, your taste is messed up ;-) Stayed at building 15, where it was nice and quiet. A lot of pools around the property. My daughter loved it.

Perfect vacation :-)

Overall a great trip with amenities for both children and adults. The staff and the event team were very approachable, and the room service was good. Could definitely recommend. 
We stayed with the All Inclusive which included food services  and drinks at basically any time of the day, and in the evening there were different themed foods to eat at the buffet.

The place is close to Kolympia, where I'd recommend renting a boat, which can be done a couple of places. 
In my experience there were no downsides considering the budget and the size of the hotel, maybe only the entertainment was too loud at times.

Travelled from UK (Jet2Holidays) with two kids age 12 and 14 and stayed 6 nights at the end of August.  We had a great holiday and have no complaints about the Atlantica Mikri Poli.  The hotel is located very close to the beach and within a 10 min walk of shops and other bars /hotels nearby in Kolymbia.  It is a busy hotel with a mix of different nationalities.  Very family friendly and the pools and waterslides were excellent (lifeguards on duty in the main waterslide area).  Our room was in one of the newer blocks with modern decor and had sliding doors between the main bedroom and the kids sofa bed area.  Our balcony had a sea view and also overlooked one of the smaller hotel pools which was lovely at quiet.  There were plenty of USB/plug sockets for phone charging in the room.  A/C worked well but you had to be in the room with the balcony door shut for it to turn on (presumably to save energy).  The hotel grounds are well kept and the staff work very hard in all parts of the hotel - cleaning, bar staff etc.  Food wise the main restaurant is good for buffet breakfast and dinner.  It did get a bit hot when it was busy, but we tried different table locations and the best ones were at either end near the A/C units.  We found lunch was best in the Pool House (near the main pool) where you get pizza and salad etc.  The beach bar was also excellent for daytime drinks and take-away salads/puddings etc if you are on the beach.  Kids loved the slushy drinks from the main pool bar and also the ice cream cones/tubs from the Pool House.  There were also crepes and donuts on offer in the afternoons from the main pool snack kiosk.  All-inclusive alcoholic drinks were ok - we mostly drank the beer and sparkling wine (the cocktails were quite sweet).  In terms of evening entertainment, the animation team put on shows - singing and dancing etc.  There was also a magician one night and traditional Greek music/dancing another night (entertainment started 20:30 or 21:30 for about an hour).  The hotel has a beach area which is looked after by the fantastic Pedros and although you do need to pay for sun beds (€12 for two - gets added to your hotel tab), we loved the beach music and Pedros brings cold bottled water and fresh fruit as part of the service.  I had read reviews so knew there was no sand here and it is more like gravel (you do need the beach shoes), but on the plus side, the water is clear the kids learnt to snorkel - there were fish to see because the sea bed has stones/large rocks.  There are also watersport activities at the beach - pedalo hire, jetski hire etc which we did and kids loved them.  One day we got the bus outside the hotel for €2.20 pp (each way) to Tsambika beach (about 15 mins on the bus) which is a large sandy cove and has an inflatable water park on the sea €10 pp for 1 hour - I did this with the kids and it was fun.  The sun beds on Tsambika beach ranged in price - €15 for 2 for the cheapest.   We did not do any of the Jet2 trips/excursions that were on offer, as the kids were happy on the beach and in the hotel pools / water slides - it was too hot to do much walking anywhere in the daytime.  We walked into the shops in Kolymbia 3 evenings after dinner and enjoyed choosing some souvenirs and gifts.  In terms of the hotel room,  our shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor, but other than that I can't think of anything else that could be improved.  Overall at the hotel - one improvement they could do with is another set of WCs near the water park, to save walking to the other main poolside WCs (or back to your room).  The hotel supply white towels and then another set of coloured beach/pool towels that you can change at reception during your stay.  We have lots of lovely holiday memories - thank you Mikri Poli.                        
  

Great family hotel with beach and water slides

Great hotel with excellent staff service! The hotel itself is constructed as a small city (hence the name), with small houses containing apartments/rooms. Rooms were of some age, but room cleaning was excellent. No problems with noise, adequate air conditioning. The hotel has multiple pool areas, two of which have pool bars. The main pool area has a very nice pool with different depths. If you want sun beds alongside the main pool you have to be there about 7-7.30 AM, and hotel staff removes towels from sun beds if you´re not present. The restaurant was really great with lovely food and lots to choose from; all food is labeled clearly concerning allergies/intolerances. Several vegeterian dishes for each meal. Also very clean and the service was great. The snack bar had limited, but tasteful selection. Drinks were great both in the restaurant and in the bars. The entertainment was better than expected, and the animation team did at really great job! There were different shows every day for 12 days! (1 show-free day per week.) The sound level was a bit high - 95-100 dB in the front rows near the stage... The Gym was small with only 1 treadmill, and I often had to line up to use the exercise equipment. The hotel was located 10-15 walk from the Kolymbia shopping street, and 5 min. walk from the beach (stone beach). The local bus stop was just outside the hotel and busses to Rhodes City and Lindos were passing every hour.
All in all a great hotel and we´d love to come back som day!

Great hotel

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at this hotel – where do I start?.. all the staff were absolutely superb, so welcoming and friendly.
We were greeted at reception when we arrived with a lovely juice drink which was greatly appreciated – great idea to have the key cards on your AI wrist bands!. We had a superb suite (over the road), which had a lovely side view of the pool and then out to sea, it was spectacular, especially at sunrise. Beds were really comfortable, and great black out curtains.
The food was lovely with great variety every day, there really was something for everyone. The AI drinks were good as well, especially the Greek Sparking Wine. Donaldo and Katerina were so nice in the main restaurant. You were also able to purchase other wine, which we did a couple of times with dinner, really reasonably priced (20 Euros for a tasty Organic white wine).
The quieter pool near the beach was lovely, with the added bonus of the beach front bar, where there were self serviced drinks and amazing baguettes/wraps to order as well as hot dogs and burgers for children to grab a snack. Our 8 year old daughter loved this. The lady that works at this bar is absolutely lovely, so friendly, happy and helpful.
The water park is so much fun, really good slides, enough for everyone, the lifeguards were excellent, special thanks to Michael, for being brilliant with our daughter.
Later in the afternoon we would go up to the main pool which was good, plenty of sun beds, followed by a drink in the main bar, wonderful cocktails looking out to sea.
We also really enjoyed the entertainment in the evening, they do work so hard, as we were there at the end of the season, they did a special comedy sketch with a lot of the staff members, I don’t think I have laughed that much in a long time.
The grounds were really looked after and everything was clean.
It was easy to organise a late check out on the last day, which made a perfect ending to the holiday.
All in all a great holiday, even so we have already booked for next October.
