Absolutely terrible, upon arriving at the hotel , the staff behind the desk was terribly rude and unprofessional. The food was awful , tasteless , and often gross. I was asking for my aircon too be turned on and the lady explained that I had to pay. I said okay let’s do that as I was suffering with the heat in the room. The woman then said ( im finishing now ) a aggressive 5,8 fat man with grey hair , ended up stating (there is nothing we can do ) although stated we could of paid by prior staff. The man was aggressive towards myself and my fiancé. This is the poorest stay I have ever had, and if your looking for a hotel with uncomfortable beds, staff who are AGGRESSIVE AND RUDE. This is the place for you.

AWFUL! 

We stayed in August for two weeks.  A very successful holiday with the family.  Hotel room fulfilling its task, comfortable, spacious, cleaned every day, including the change of sheets.  The air conditioning in the room worked flawlessly.  The food was varied and tasty, the manager of the room was very nice and liked our son with reciprocity.  The swimming pool in the middle of the hotel is clean and well maintained, although we used it only twice, we prefer beaches and the sea.  From the hotel close to the beach a few minutes walk.  Next to the hotel, there is a bus stop and a taxi stop, also grocery and souvenir shops.  We will remember our stay very fondly and I will not say a bad word about this hotel.  This is a hotel primarily for people who want to relax, peace and quiet despite being close to the beach and the town center.

Family vacation

Overall, the actual building was great. It was exceptionally clean (new towels every day and the bedding changed regularly changed), the pool was nice and the restaurant layout was good. 

However, the actual atmosphere of the hotel was very poor. Firstly, There was no atmosphere - there was no entertainment at all apart from one Greek night. There was one member of staff behind the bar in the day and one at night, both obviously ran off their feet which made them unpleasant and grumpy. The day time bar man who worked at the ‘Pool Bar’ told us that we needed to be dry before ordering a drink and told us to bring our cups back. He never smiled. 

The restaurant staff were lovely, particularly the restaurant manager. He always made effort to talk. But the food was not good. We lived off pizza and wedges. We ate our most nights although we paid for all inclusive because the standard of food was rubbish. There was no snack bar and also ice cream was only available to children and not adults. 

When we first checked in, the air conditioning was poor and the toilet wouldn’t flush. we had the re-pack and swap rooms. When we had swapped rooms the air conditioning was still poor and we had to hold the shower above our heads as the bracket was loose. 

Overall, wouldn’t recommend this hotel.  In my opinion, it most definitely isn’t a 4 star.

Poor

The hotel was nice and clean but there was no atmosphere around the pool in the day it needed music 
The pool Bar had music and Yanis was very friendly .
The ladies on reception were friendly and helpful. 
There was no evening entertainment which was quite boring so we headed out most nights
The restaurant was good with a wide selection of foods from the buffet .The service we recieved was outstanding from our waitress Sarah always a welcoming friendly smile and nothing was too much trouble she made time for all the guests. 
We did not like the man at the desk as you went in the restaurant he was very rude and abrupt he had no customer service qaulity at all, we called him the Sargent major even by the way he treated the staff .They all worked very hard
It was only a short walk into Kolimbia Street and to the beach.
We went to Symi Island which is a must visit absolutely stunning .
All in all a relaxed holiday .


Quiet

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are cleaned daily and always spotless. The rooms were really modern and we had a nice room overlooking the pool. The pool water is really uncomfortably freezing, so not many people went in it- and I mean it is really freezing. One thing I would say is that this hotel is out of the way, so majority of people who stayed here were older people or a few families. If you’re young and wanting a hotel with a lot to do, I would say look to stay a bit closer in to Rhodes. There is a few bars just round the corner from the hotel which we used to go to every night. The hotel says on the websites, that it has entertainment but in the evening there is no sort of entertainment at all which I think they could look at adding. The staff are friendly and found them all really lovely. Food wise is usually what you would find, and there was always pizza, chips, spaghetti etc if you are a picky eater. Near to the hotel there is a hire car company, so we did a lot of day trips and they rented it to us for a cheap price. 

Modern looking hotel

I was not impressed with this hotel one bit. The staff were not very welcoming during the whole stay. The pictures are not the same as the hotel itself so do not be fooled. The rooms looked really nice in the photos, but also do not be fooled by this, our room was out the way with a view of a little bit of grass with some weeds. It was dingy and had no life to it. My sister ran the water to do a bath which was yellow dirty water. The TV was not working. There was no evening entertainment, the bar staff were not chatty or helpful. Very rude, slamming the glasses on the side when giving you your drink. No one seemed happy. The food wasn't the best, I know not to expect them to cater for every person but it was the same food pretty much every day and was not fresh. i would not recommend this hotel and definitely not a 4 star.

Terrible

The hotel was spotless, the staff including George, Abi and Donna were amazing, friendly and helpful. The food was great with great choice and variety. The room was cleaned every single day, even the day we were leaving. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel beach could do with a bit of TLC but apart from the perfect. Bus stop practically outside and main town about 3k away. Thank you so much xx

Could Find No Fault

Negatives:  extremely tastleless food - no salt, no seasonings,  mostly poor quality - f.e. fake "Feta" cheese ( susp. German White non-milk cheese), meat meals often cold or not enough cooked. Wine tasteless as well. 
Pool opening hours 10-18!! , with the see in 15min walk distance- why!?
Wi-fi signal weak or nonexistent.
Positive: cleaning services ( and the nice lady gave us extra pillows)

No more

We spent one week at the Niriides Hotel and it was amazing! A very friendly team - everybody is kind and courteous, amazing food with many options, such a great hotel complex with a big pool and it’s located not far away from the beach and the city. We look forward to a reunion!  

wonderful trip! relatable!

Just returned from a 7 nights stay at the Nirrides Beach Hotel.

First impressions are really good, friendly check in, information given and so forth.
Rooms are very well sized - we were on the 2nd floor (newer building) nice view of the ocean (only just) but nevertheless the view was good. Room was spotless, cleanliness in this hotel cannot be faulted, our house keeper for the day 'Anthula' is a gem, very well kept, cleaned our room so well so please if she does happen to be your house keeper look after her :)

The premises are on the whole quite accommodating, good size pool, clean once again, two bars and good eating quarters. There were always sun loungers to choose from.
Staff are extremely helpful, friendly and very accommodating.
The hotel is very close to the main drag in Kolimpia central, with cocktail bars, supermarket (Zeus) and tourist shops including car rentals and resturants, the music and bustle goes on till 2-3am in the morning BUT we enjoyed it (for reasons I will explain later).
The hotel is a good 20 mins walk to the beach
The all inclusive food is very fresh, although repetitive, always something tasty and fresh to eat!
If you want a BRILLIANT MEAL - go to the Taverna Tsambikos - 100% amazing!!! You must give it a go
The worst thing is the alcohol at this hotel, the spirits are yes LOCAL but I am sure that they have been watered down! We arrived and ordered a vodka tonic, it tasted like soda water, the gin is terrible so is their brandy (its one of the niggles that lets this property down!), if you want to drink something cold go for the beer (best option) or buy your own at the supermarket and drink it on your balcony in your room with stunning views :) 
Bring your own beach towels! We hired theirs at €6 total with a €20 refundable deposit.
You can hire a safe (recommended) for €2 a day (I believe)
Lastly we were the only English couple at this resort (not that I have a problem with this) but it seems the property caters largerly for the German/Polish
There is no music in the background when you sit down for a drink on the patio's before dinner, the whole atmostphere in the evening was extremely anal and quite uncomforable at times sadly....if you want entertainment in the evenings this hotel IS NOT for you! You will get a Greek evening on a Sunday but that last probably 1 hour (I did not bother staying for this). 
If this is your first time in Kolimbia (this was our second so we knew what to expect), rent a car or scooters,visit Lindos, Rhodes etc....

***ADVICE TO HOTEL***
Please invest in some speakers outside playing some local Greek music or something just to make the place a little more welcoming :)

So fair to say the holiday was enjoyed, however will I return to this property, not likely.
