We booked a double standard from booking but when we arrived at the structure our room was totally different from the pictures and had no shower in it. When we contacted the owner he was really rude and arrogant. He said he didn’t has any other room available ( we booked 2 months ago) and only could do a 20% discount. We accepted just because we arrived late, had one night only and we departed the other day. But if I knew the room hasn’t shower I won’t booked it for sure. Don’t waste your money here unless you aren’t ok to pay 90 euro for a room with old forniture and no shower.
On our check out the owner insulted us e pushed us away. Worst experience ever!

Don’t book the double standard room is a fraud

We spent the last decade of July with a couple of friends in two apartments, when we arrived Dimitri came to pick us up by car at the port presenting himself in a very polite way. Our friends were settled in the apartment on the second floor while we were initially given the floor with the cooking corner. Since it was a little small and did not have such an exposed position, Dimitri suggested that we move in the afternoon, back from the sea, to a more spacious first floor.

Have a great vacation.

Stayed 4 nights. Booked via booking site. The owner, a gentleman, who contrary to what I read in the other reviews was immediately super available, came to pick us up on time at the port. The room was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the sea (see photo) spacious but large, microscopic bathroom that used to shower, air conditioning worked just as well as wifi. Very central, two steps away from everything. Breakfast was not included but two steps away there is a great bar (Sofia) where for about 12 euros is served a lavish breakfast. I don't recommend it for the price of 490 euros or 4 nights) and for the possibility that given a room on the bottom floor that certainly didn't have a pleasant reading in the other reviews.

Well, not very well.

Apart from the location I can't find anything nice to say about this place. The owner is very rude and arrogant. The building definetely needs a renovation. The rooms are outdated, the beds are extremely unconfortable. Half of the lights in our room were not working. Cleanliness level on average. The cleaner was cleaning while we were sitting in our yard and was sweeping in our feet and hosing down the place while our clothes were at drying at the hangers. The price is too high and not worth the service provided. Also, while we were checking out the owner claimed that he could not accept credit cards as  due to the wind the pos machine was not working 🤣 . Needless to say that no receipt was ever provided for what we paid even though we explicitly requested it.

Not worth the money

We had a problem with a new pajamas that slightly stained the saunas, at the time of irnos the owner (Dimitris) told us that we had a problem giving a thousand rodeos to ask for money. We were charged 40 euros extra for the saunas because he said they were not going to be removed. Their shapes were very unpleasant and incorrect and threatened us with uploading the photos, which we don't care about as it was an accident. We believed in the Greek. We came from apartments Apollon and nothing to do with the deal at all, in front of the Apollon Studios.

The host Dimitris leaves much to be desired. He is a superb and a despot. He does not worry about his guests, only the interest of charging and not precisely to use it in improvements to his hotel. We do not cross a word throughout the room until after our check-out tells us that we have a problem with some very uncorrect forms. The problem was that we accidentally ate a shed and between screams and insults in Greek we had to pay him an extra 40€, so as not to have any further problems, since his attitude was entirely aggressive. The island is wonderful but not to be repeated in this establishment or gift. A few meters away are the Apollo Studios with super friendly equipment, clean studios and truly well equipped and a great personal location.

The "owner" of the rooms is rude and arrogant, the prices are extremely high for no purpose since the service provided is the lowest. Rooms are not cleaned properly, missing basic accessories like bath soap, water or even toilet paper!

I cannot imagine how no any official authority has taken command, when this guy does not provide receipts and requests from all visitors to pay in cash.

It is a real pity for this beautiful island to have such a low quality person who tries to thieve and gain as much money he can.

Keep away from this guy! The island has various other rooms and places to stay, where people respect you and provide you hospitality.

KEEP AWAY!

It was the last accommodation offered by the famous booking site. Dear, but patience. Scene No. 1: Before we go out to dinner we hear a noise, like a bang but getting louder on arrival, besides the missed appointment at the port (which I read is a classic of many reviews), a large room, with a nice terrace, in a good position, but squalor, but actually miserable: poorly lit, no lights to the bed, blind bathroom and no vacuum cleaner. But this is nothing. Scene No. 1: Before we go out to dinner we hear a noise, like a bang but getting louder on arrival: it's the door that's exploding, the bricks are raising in a crazy cracking sinister.

Wrath and violence (incredible experience)

We got to Selini studios and there the problem starts: a lady who can't speaks a word of english "welcomed" us bringing us to a room which was already been assigned to another couple, the time to open our luggages and they came and move us to another room in a very rude way. 

The room is like your grandma house, with the same furniture of 1950, everytime you take a shower the bathroom become a swimming pool as the drain is slow, all of this for 100€ per night. 

We choose to stay for the two night only because the entire island were overbooked. 

Dimitri, the owner, promised to find us another accomodation for the last 2 nights of our stay in Koufonissia, he bring us to a bar were they let us leave our bags and sayed that the room would have been ready in one hour, so we trust them and go for a boat trip. 

At our come back the room was not anymore there but "magically" Dimitri has a room for us (maybe a cancellation?), I kindly asked him if we can just leave our luggages to his place and look for another as I feel treated like a pack and he became very aggressive and left me and my girlfriend in the middle of a street saying he has no more rooms available. 

We were lucky to find some others hotel managers who treat people not like moneys but like guests and find us an accomodation for the others 2 nights of our stay in this beautiful island. 

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Treated like a pack

Studio with a well-equipped cooking corner. Small bathroom like every studio in Greece but very clean. Great location, quiet but central. Gentle and available owner but doesn't speak English. Good quality price ratio.
