Excellent  place.Very quiet.People very helpful and with a big smile in their faces .I recommend  100%.The view from the balcony is like a photo.Pension Maria is a reason for our family happy vacations .Mr Makis who is the owner tell us places to visit and for sure he was 100% right.Every time in Lefkada we will come here

For a price of 55 euros per night the room x 2 is quite complete. C is also the kitchen in the room which is however slightly ruined, so we did not use it. They found the place quite clean, the friendly staff. Some sign of rust a bathroom. I would say the room is therefore a Spartan Po but close to the beach and the city a few minutes by car. The road to the place in the middle of the countryside is narrow All summed up in the average.

Pretty good good position

2 nights at Maria's Pensione.Good location near beach and short drive into town centre. Friendly staff but we had a badly leaking toilet when we arrived reported it to the owner and it was still leaking when we left.
Nothing done about it.
"you get what you pay for" sometimes.
The island is highly touristy and our experience is that the more touristy an area the poorer the service.

I must say I was a little skeptic when I saw the price difference between Pension Maria and the rest of the offers but we gave a try anyway.The first day we arrived the owner mr. Makis gave us a bottle  his own home made white wine and two big beautiful sea shells just as a welcome token,showed us and gave a map of Lefkada with all the great beaches and most important where to buy and not to buy.still we were sceptical,when we saw the room we felt a sign of relief.the room was great,specious and clean decorated all in old greek tradition way.towels and sheets were nice and clean,soap for hands and dishes if you plan to cook.Kitchen had everything so you don't have to bring your own kitchen ware.they changed sheets and towes every second day which was fine.Place itself has a barbeque grill,free wifi,parking,etc..The city beach was 10min walk or 2min by car,but we went to a different beach every day.Kathisma was the best 12km(15min) from our pension.Before we left mr. Makis and his kind  wife Elena gave us an another bottle of wine and we were set.Thank you for a great vacation and kindness.See you next year.

Great vacation

Pension Maria  is in agios ioannis, a small village about five minutes be  car from lefkada and  two minutes from beautiful  agios ioannis beach. You can go to the beach by feet too.  Very clean and quiet rooms with nice garden and kiosk under trees . Free WiFi! All balconies have sea or mountain view.  Parking is available too. Owners  (Mr Makis and Maria) are very kind and helpful people. Also it has good prices. Agios ioannis is perfect place for kite because of strong wind. There are some good taverns and restaurants close to the beach.  Nice choice for couples and families

Maki and her daughter Maria are the perfect housewives. Very kind, hospitable and cordial will make you have a fantastic holiday. The rooms are large and clean. Very close to Mylos they are perfect for kite practitioners. Only the pool is missing, otherwise a perfect resting place in the heart of Lefkada. Recommended!!

Perfect position and super warmth.

This is our final day here. Very nice and quiet place. Far known Greek hospitality is why we keep coming to Greece. We came to Lefkada by car and this is the only way to see all the beauty of the island. To the main city Lefkas we have only a few minutes of driving so this villa is something that I would really recommend!
