Fantastic room spacious with a good sized balcony. Bathroom was great and room was cleaned most days. We used the facilities at the sun ray which were excellent. We used the sunbefd on the beach and ate at the hotel mist lunchtimes. Good was excellent and the Greek night was fantastic - the quality of the food was amazing and is highly recommended. The staff were amazing and really friendly. First time to Thassos and really enjoyed our stay

Brit’s only 5% I would say mostly Romanians and Bulgarians all seemed friendly enough 
Don’t let the ferry out you off thasos is great

Lovely room nice balcony

We have had a wonderful time staying villa giannis the whole place is very modern and clean the location of the apartment is excellent being very close to the beach you can see the sea from the balcony there is a very nice bakery across the road and a supermarket very close.maria the very kind lady who runs thease apartments is very friendly and helpful she also runs the sunray Hotel further down the beach road were you can use the swimming pool and sunbeds on the the beach we ate most days at the sunray the food was of a high quality and was better than some tavernas in the town.I would like  to thank Maria and all her hard-working staff for making  our hoiday very memorable.

Great place to stay

We booked quite late so got a bargain. Our 4th time I’m Thassos. We knew Limenaria well so didn’t have any concerns about booking a room only. It’s a very nice room. Fridge and Kettle. We can use the Sunray Hotel, run by same people. Read reviews about Maria, I think she’s great and yes she runs a tight ship but very friendly, the lovely boys who serve you are a credit to you Maria. The Greek night was the best we have ever been to and we have been quite a few 😆 whoever their chef is needs a medal. We came to the Sunray most days. It’s worth a walk up to the derelict German mining company house and carry on to the Metalia beach. The restaurants and bars are lovely,so much choice. Can’t believe it’s still so hot and it’s end of season.

Absolutely amazing 

This was our 7th time staying at the Villa Giannis. We have the best time every time we stay. Maria and the staff are really helpful and can’t do enough for you. Don’t let the fact that this hotel does not have a pool. You can use all the facilities at the sister hotel the Sunray. We had the best two weeks. The only thing which is changing is the calibre of some of the guests that TUI are sending. This is not a party place, so bare that in mind when you book. This is a good place for couples and small families. If you want to get drunk and party then this is not the hotel for you. It’s the best place to chill and relax though.

Superbly relaxing resort and hotel

Very modern, nice clean accommodation. Fridge, kettle, pots and cutlery. We loved our weeks stay at Boutique Villa Giannis. So near the beach and tavernas, great bakery just across the road and a great off licence below. Our room was cleaned every day and the towels and beds changed during our weeks stay.  For us it was the perfect location, plenty of tavernas, our favourite was Rodolphos, 10 euros for sunbeds beds and umberella and this included 2 drinks of  your choice, excellent food. Best to check at each taverna the rate for sunbeds as we found it varied a lot. This is our 5th holiday to beautiful Thassos and would definitely return again to the same accommodation.

Wonderful holiday on Thassos

Accommodations very good, Maria and staff very helpful. Accommodation so close to sea and centre, we could see the sea from balcony. Greek night at sister hotel Sunray was superb. Dancers were fantastic food fantastic staff fabulous. Many thanks to all for a super holiday. Still here till Sunday. Diana

Wow, what a hidden gem in just the best location ever! 
Have just returned from a week’s stay here travelling with TUI & have got to say it was one of the best week’s holiday we’ve had. 
Centrally located in Limenaria a stones-throw from the sea, beach, fabulous tavernas & cocktail bars (not to mention the gorgeous Boris bakery directly opposite) I now know why you never book all-inclusive in Greece. 
The rooms themselves are modern, well- equipped (room only however, no facilities for self catering as such) but smaller than the photos would sometimes suggest. Cleaned daily with a change of towels & sheets mid week, hot shower & modern bathroom/wet room & full size fridge. We didn’t pay extra for the air con (happily slept with the balcony doors open) but invested 10 euros in a safe for our valuables. 
Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely Maria and her team at The Sunray Hotel just a few minutes walk away where food, sunbeds & welcoming smiles were always plentiful and it was a pleasure getting to know them all albeit for a short time. From the welcoming Lina to the hard-working guy providing us with food & drink all day long on our beach sunbeds, nothing was too much trouble. Would we return? In an absolute heartbeat. 
A no frills, simple, perfectly located & modern property plus the added advantage of being able to use the facilities at The Sunray = winning formula. Thanks for the memories guys. We’ll be seeing you again.

Stayed here mid July and was fantastic. The rooms were stunning. Maria and the family were very helpful and friendly . The use of Sunray Hotel was brilliant too, the food was amazing. 
Lovely central village with lots to do. 
Would definitely book again.
