Excellent seafood, fresh, well done. Really nice view, near the sea. I really enjoyed eating here. The host was very friendly.
We received a desert from the house, really good desert.
We will definitely eat here again.

Very good seafood

I am currently in Limenaria with my husband, my mother, her husband and my niece. We came to this taverna on our second evening and have been coming here ever since. The food is beyond excellent, but what really brings us back every night is the staff who make us feel so welcome every single time. They are the definition of great hosts, the hospitality is indescribable. Every single member of the staff pays attention to what we like and they already knew our preferences on the second visit. We have a few more days left of our vacation, there’s no other place we would go. We are really greatful for all the experiences and kind words here. Everyone simply must try this amazing restaurant!

The best place in the whole island

Maria and Kostas are a very nice couple and made us to feel like home.  The food is very good and the location is amazing. They are carefull with clients needs . The report between quality and price is a very good one.

A good place to stay and eat

The best restaurant in the area. The food was always very good and the owners are kind and welcoming. The sea food is always fresh and tasty. It's definitly a place where you must eat when you're in Limenaria!

Great food


We visited on second night of holiday and when we got the bill it was obviously not ours (not enough), so we owned up and got the correct bill.  Maria (owner) thanked us for our honesty and said next time we visited, the wine was on them. Cynically you could think that it might have been an empty promise and when we did go back, we ordered food and wine without saying anything.  However, towards the end of the meal, a carafe of wine appeared on the table with a third glass.  We were told that it was for Maria who came and sat with us and talked for ages about us and her family.  It was the essence of the kind of people we are sometimes blessed with on holiday. Everytime we walked by the restaurant, we were acknowledged by Costas (Maria’s husband), Maria or one of the waiters even if we were eating elsewhere.  

The food was excellent each time we went with my Gluten free needs being met and my pitta bread grilled for me to have with my starter.  

Portions were generous especially the stuffed Octopus which was really too much. 

It’s a pity that the restaurant does not have its own TA entry, only through the hotel, as it should (and would) have a good rating. 

The hotel itself looks nothing special from the outside, but Maria took us for a tour at our request and inside it’s fabulous. 

Really easily recommended, it’s one of the best restaurants in the village, but TA doesn’t show it. 

Quality food, service and friendly staff and owners

We absolutely love this restaurant!
We visited on two occasions in the space of a week. On the first occasion there was a heavy thunderstorm and the staff did a fantastic job of moving everyone inside ( despite getting soaking wet). This did not effect the food or service!
The second evening we came, all the staff recognised us and thanked us for visiting again! 
The food was delicious too!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Asterias restaurant

We have been staying here for a week.  the rooms are spacious and clean.  We ate at the hotel's restaurant daily, the food was delicious and served very quickly. Maria and Kostas are the best, very friendly and nice. We will be back for sure!

5*-lovely owners&staff

We have been last year in2018 and we come again in 2019. It was great, like last year, so we took a good decision! The rooms are very good, big, nice, clean and all with great view. The people from here are very friendly, nice and they do everything to feel you good. You are here in the midle of action (center town) and you have everything you want! The food is delicios (i recommand traditional lamb because i was impressed) You have a lot of beautifull beaches approuch(Metalia, Skala Marion, Pefkari, Psili Ammos, Arsana) and Murble, Golden and Paradise Beach at 40-45 minutes, but the road coast is very nice! We recommand!!!Thank you Kostas, Maria, Cristof, Katerina, Dimitri and all Asterias Hotel team!!!
