It was a basic app but you know that before you go. It was clean and we had a sea view. It was a bit hard to cook as not many utensils and the 2 pans weren’t none stick. We had a lovely time although the incline would be a bit hard if your not very mobile.

Good time

Had a very good week at these apartments.yannis and family make you welcome.the studio room we had was ok for us,with a great view out to the bay.
Down the hill to main town,no real beach to speak of,we caught bus to Stallis which had a good beach.
Uphill to a couple of villages,which had some very good restaurants.
Would we go back to Mareva Apartments again yes definitely.

There is something special about this place. 
We (a family of 3) stayed here in September. Although our trip was unfortunately cut short due to a family bereavement we still managed to make some good memories here.
Yiannis & his family provide a different experience from other hotels. The apartments are basic but kept clean and well maintained.
As we like to explore the places we are visiting resort style complexes don’t appeal to us so Mareva apartments provided a perfect base to explore.
The location is perfect, as the apartments are up a hill there is stunning views of the surrounding areas. Walking down the hill takes you to the resort centre which is very touristy but has loads to offer. 
Walking up hill takes you to the stunning village of Koutouloufari.
This was so picturesque with winding streets filled with shops, tavernas and rooftop restaurants and we went here most nights.
I think what sets Mareva apartments out from the rest is the family feel, it’s almost like everyone is over at a friend’s house.
It’s one of the few holidays we’ve been on where we interacted so much with the other guests. It has the feel of somewhere you’ve never been before but at the same time feels familiar.
Yiannis and his family couldn’t have been any more helpful & welcoming, and let our son Harris play on the card & bikes they had for they’re own family. He had the best time!
 we look forward to returning.

Something special about this place

Me and my mum have just had a week at the Mareva apartments. We have absolutely loved every minute of it. Yannis and his family have made us feel so welcome as they are so friendly. The apartments are lovely and clean, they are in a great location- just down the hill is a buzzing harbour town and just up the hill is a quiet village with lots of tavernas. The beach is close, as are plenty of shops. I watched the sunrise over the mountains from my balcony in a morning, it was stunning. We want to come back next year :)

Great holiday 

Just returned from a fantastic two week stay and we couldn’t fault it. Mareva is run by a lovely family who work really hard and make you feel very welcome. Clean, comfortable and peaceful and really well placed for both the harbour and beach or up a slight hill to the village. We will definitely return and would highly recommend a holiday here, it really is fantastic, loved every minute.

Had an amazing time at these apartments very basic but hey ,, typically Greek .the family that run these are fantastic so friendly and nothing 2 much trouble we were there for 10 days end of September .weather was fantastic on an incline but worth it . koutolafari 10 minutes uphill and hersonnisis down hill perfect location thank u yanis and all your lovely family for the hospitality we got Denise & Colin xxx

Fantastic appartments superb family run, nothing to much trouble . Nice friendly envoirnment. Yannis his dad and sister maria run a superb business .if you are looking for 5 star accomadation this isnt it.but if you want clean comfortable, friendly experience dont book anywhere else until you try mariva.

Superb

Stayed here for a week in September with my boyfriend. Hotel is in an excellent location. Rooms are fairly basic but kept very clean. Lovely clean pool with plenty of sun beds. Owners are very friendly. Would definitely come back.

Great Hotel

We had a lovely time in these apartments. They are a family run business and they are a fantastic team!!
They are your typical holiday apartments, we stayed in a studio where we could push our beds together. Everything was kept really clean by the lovely Maria. Pool was clean and everything was kept pristine.
We didn’t keep our room as there is a shower for you to wash and change at the end of your last day. Beautiful village up the hill and lively pubs etc down the hill. 10 min either way.

Fantastic Value!!

I have found the most amazing apartments in Greece.  It may be shown as a 2 star apartment however every thing about the complex is awesome.  The family make the holiday experience so memorable, I just can't fault any part of of the holiday and am writing this review whilst still on holiday and wishing it would never end.  So many people I have met here are on repeat visits and I can understand why.  We will be back to enjoy the fantastic atmosphere
