I can recommend Socrates Hotel without any hesitation! We stayed several nights and the service was consistently friendly, helpful and professional, led by Anna on reception, and Despina and crew in bar/restaurant. The hotel and pool area, and our room were spotless. Very comfortable room and beds. Lovely meals available, and delicious varied breakfasts provided. Airport transfers were very helpful, as was other advice and information. Quiet hotel for wide variety of guests. Easy walk to Malia centre and Old Town, and to the beach.
