Great location in the castle walls & very close to the entrance on the right hand side. Excellent view & host! And the breakfast - made to order from the host in your room or on the balcony downstairs. Try the local Greek treats! The suites are cozy with fireplace & very clean and comfortable. Book in advance, you will not be disappointed. Note I suggest to drop your luggage at the entrance of the castle, then park your car. And there is generally a lot of stairs and uphill walking in the area, so bring comfy shoes! It is very unique location, easy day trips by car, and worth it to visit!

Beautiful views & unique location

We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip in September, what a fabulous location and stunning small independent hotel that is perched up a flight of stairs in the lower town. Once we entered through a door and we were show up to our room on the top floor (4 rooms in total). The room was excellent, spacious, clean and very comfortable with a huge shower and bathroom. 

However this hotel is ALL about the views from the balconies that are truly stunning. See photos.

We ate the hotel restaurant and the dinner was excellent and the dining area is situated on a small private balcony that overlooks the ocean with views that are spectacular.

The breakfast was also excellent with a very good choice and lovely views with very good service.

Highly recommend and once in a lifetime place to visit.

Top Tip -  Make sure you drive to the castle entrance on arrival and unload all your luggage, then contact the hotel to help with your luggage while your partner parks the car on the mile long road or at the free car park at the bottom. It’s about a 20 minute walk up from the bottom car park or there is a bus service that charges €1.20.

Amazing boutique Hotel with stunning views.

Monemvasia is a tremendous town to visit and understand the heights of the Byzantine civilisation, but it's not an easy place to enjoy without spending time and having a bolt hole. This property fulfilled that brief perfectly and we had a brilliant two night stay here. Breakfast was good, the suite quality, terrace, air con and view 5 star and the hotel gave us towels so that we could enjoy the dramatic sea swim outside the gate at the platform. Superb.

A Perfect Ten

Amazing room with incredible ocean views. I couldn’t have chosen a better spot for my short stay in Monemvasia. The hotel is located close to entrance to the castle which makes it convenient. Nectaria the manager, makes sure you are confortable and arranges for someone to help you with luggage once you are at the entrance of the castle. Breakfast was also perfection. One day I will go back. Thank you for helping me create wonderful memories.

Perfection

Excellent accommodation…. Comfortable, clean, amazing balcony in the Junior suite with fantastic views and privacy. Breakfast was incredible with a freshly cooked range of offerings which were delicious. Restaurant here is fabulous too. Superb location and truly amazing staff who go out of their was to be so hospitable and helpful. Thoroughly recommend

Excellent

My partner and I were fortunate to secure an early booking at this charming hotel, although we learned upon arrival that it only has three rooms. Nonetheless, the owner went above and beyond by graciously upgrading our accommodations. The hotel's prime location within the Monemvasia castle area couldn't have been more convenient, as it's situated very close to the entrance gate.

The only minor drawbacks we experienced were the spotty internet connection and the somewhat challenging luggage transfer process. However, these were easily overlooked given the outstanding qualities of the property.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beauty of the hotel itself. We were treated to stunning views of the romantic sunrise each morning, and it was clear that the owner takes great pride in maintaining the property. The interior design was tastefully curated, featuring high-quality furnishings that enhanced the overall aesthetic.

The food at the hotel was equally impressive. The spinach pie was a standout dish for me, and I can honestly say it was the best spinach pie I've tasted in my three weeks in Greece. We also thoroughly enjoyed the dinner menu, which is definitely worth trying during your stay. Overall, we had a delightful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

Hidden gem of Monemvasia!

We loved staying here (3 nights) Nektaria was a great hostess!  Couldn’t be more helpful.  Breakfasts everyday were amazing!  We had dinner here one night and had an amazing meal.  So much to do and see in this beautiful region and our highlight was the beautiful Agios Sophia.  We loved our stay here, hotel is immaculate and rooms cleaned to a high standard.  Thank you so much, we will be back to visit again!

Amazing stay in a beautiful old part of history

The hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are unreal. Luxury beds. Impeccable views. Best location. The owner is amazing. She goes above and beyond. This is truly Greece and Greek luxury. It’s probably the best breakfast too(just an added bonus). I cannot recommend enough.

Pure luxury

Highly recommend Monemvasia and Moni Emvasis Luxury Suites. I felt very welcomed from the moment I pulled up and they helped with my luggage to when I sadly had to checkout (and they helped with luggage)! The room is well appointed and very comfortable. Sitting out on the terrace was very pleasant. The two breakfasts and dinner I had were exceptional--the Kagianas eggs were particularly good for breakfast and the grilled calamari exceptional for dinner. This is a small hotel with I think five suites, so you will be well taken care of. I stayed in the Junior Suite and it was really quite large--and there was a loft with a ladder for a larger family. I thought that was pretty cool. Truly a wonderful place to stay and visit.

Lovely stay! beautiful terrace and friendly, welcoming staff

Most romantic hotel and best location! The hotel is IN a castle. The rooms were clean and had beautiful sea views and balconies. The service was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STAR! The kindest woman checked us in, carried our bags, set up our room, made us breakfast and brought it up to our terrace. On the day of our departure, she gave us some of her homemade spanakopita for the road. The special Kuyana egg dish on the breakfast menu was unforgettably delicious! The woman who makes it gave us a bag of her secret seasoning that she goes into the MOUNTAINS and collects and dries out for 20 days before serving to guests. This goes to show the level of care this hotel puts into each room, each meal, each interaction, and each guest. This hotel and the beautiful city around it was just truly amazing. Monemvasia is the hidden jewel of Greece and I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
