We have stopped here on the way to the magical Elafonisos island. We were here 2 nights. The hosts was very friendly. The rooms we get was clean and big. Parking is in front of the hotel. Location is the best in Monemvasia.

Superb hotel

Hospitality with high level. You can feel like you are at home. Rooms with amazing view and very nice cleaning. Furnitures in the room are new. Hotel located far from old castle-town, so if you would like something more close to the old town you should check something else.

Amazing!!!!

We just spent two nights at the Klelia Hotel. It was our favorite place to stay on our 10 day road trip in the Peloponnesus. The owner Dimitrius greeted us with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. But what really impressed us was the room. The patio looked out over the Aegean, allowing us to witness beautiful sunrises. The rooms were clean and spacious and contain a complete kitchen. It is not in the castle, but that was fine with us. It was set back from the water and hence was wonderfully quiet. It was the perfect place to visit Monemvasia. You will love it.

A beautiful place to stay 

A warm welcome, friendly and genuine. Glass of freshly pressed orange juice at any time. Rooms clean and some real space, to relax on balcony, to be in the small living room. Rooks really very well decorated and pleasant to be in. Small kitchenette, but I did not eat in the room, as there are places in town to go to. A little up the hill, but a good walk in the morning and a good rest in the afternoon to enjoy the place the most. Out in the country really, so best to have car, but certainly possible to walk to town, as I did, and to the medieval village the other side of the mountain.

Superb - clean and comfortable

My family of 4 enjoyed a lovely stay at Klelia Hotel in a 2 bedroom apartment. 
The apartment was clean and very spacious. We liked the intricate layout with its multiple outdoor areas to capture the breeze and great views of Monemvasia and the surrounding landscapes.
We found it to be a very convenient location with everything not more than a minutes drive away.
We all got on very well with the owner and host Dimitrios whom was extremely warm and accommodating. We were sad to say goodbye to him when it came time to leave.
Breakfasts were also a highlight. Huge amounts of food and everything was extremely fresh and delicious, and mostly sourced directly from Dimitrios' own family farm. I can still taste the "straight from the farm" freshly squeezed orange juice, and the honey from his own bees, the delicious omelettes and fresh salads items. Extremely good value.
