This is a lovely guesthouse in Monodendri, with clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful views. The host Mrs Stathoula was particularly lovely, very pleasant to speak with. Bedroom very large and spacious, and well heated. Bathroom quite old and small (as with most Greek properties), but did the job and the shower was good.

Perfect place to stay in Monodendri. We had to ask for advices and they give us some really good. The place is great to stay and for a fair price. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was copious with a lot of things to eat. We truly recommend the place

Very beautiful and clean hotel with lot of flowers in front of it. it is located at the the beginning of the village.

Our family felt like good friends here. We arrived tired and frozen and Ms. Doxa -the host- did the best for us to feel comfortable. She asked us several times whether we had everythig we needed. We had a family room- actually two doble bed rooms with a mini-bar and TV, a fireplace, a terrace, own bathroom.

Cons
-in time of our stay (March) it was a bit difficult to find a place to have a dinner or to buy some food (possible to travel to the neighbouring villages) but it has nothing to do with the accomodation :)

Relaxing, warm and cozy place

Liked · Amazing hospitality. Very welcoming and kind. The location is perfect if you plan on visiting the Gorge and the surroundings. The breakfast has a variety of delicious homemade products. The Jacuzzi Suite was spacy and comfortable and had a nice balcony to enjoy the quietness and beauty of the place. The Quality-price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

Disliked · The internet connection on the underfloor was not great. The mattress could be more comfortable, though this can be more a personal preference than a complaint about their quality or condition. It was a pity we couldn't enjoy the jacuzzi room.

Lovely hospitality

As soon as I entered the “house” it felt like home! Nanny Stathoula keeps it clean and tidy! She is also a great cook :) she prepared great breakfast for us and not only. She put together tasted bread and pies to take away  on our daily activities. She even prepared warm milk at night if we asked. She is can provide any information you may need. I would definitely recommend!! The rooms are amazing! 

Fells like home!! 

Very nice and welcoming guesthouse at the entrance road to Monodendri village in Zagoria area. Comfortable specious room and good breakfast. The hostess is very friendly and helpful, always attended to our queries. We have enjoyed our stay and warmly recommend it to others.

A very friendly traditional guesthouse

This guest house is a real find. The owners were very welcoming, and the rooms are old fashioned in décor and full of character. We had a family room which turned out to be a duplex with the kids in a separate area upstairs.

The breakfast includes some excellent local honey, and one of the best spinach pies I had in my two week trip to Greece (cooked by the owner.)

Local bars and restaurants are a short walk away, and Monodendri is an excellent base for exploring the Vikos Gorge (by foot or by car.)

Lovely quaint place to stay while visiting the gorge

The owner could not have been more friendly.   The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable only the bathroom was very small.   We booked half board and were delighted with the dinner provided and we did not have to go looking for a restaurant.   Breakfast was also excellent with a wider choice of things to eat than you could manage.   The owner also wrapped some of her spinach pie up for us to have  the next day for a picnic lunch.   There was no air conditioning but the mountain air was cool in the evening and there was a mosquito net enabling us to have the window open.   The family rooms spread over two floors looked delightful.

A very good hotel in the mountains  , staff were excellent and very helpful with local knowledge , breakfast was excellent with local produce we will definitely return when we return to the vikos gorge area
