Just back from 10 days at Aggelos Family Hotel. The first thing I'll say it that this is not a hotel, it's a block of apartments. There is no proper reception just a room. On arrival there was noone there, we tried ringing the hotel number but there was no reply. We rang the holiday company in the end and after about 40 mins someone came. The apartment was basic as expected but with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was tiny, we're used to greek facilities but this was barely functional. The rooms were cleaned twice, other than that it was loo rolls and towels every day or so. 
Positives, location, perfect for the beach. Lovely pool and garden area. The guy who looked after the apartments was often not on site but when he was he was pleasant and approachable. We asked to keep our room longer due to a late flight, we weren't charged.
Overall if you're not bothered by a dated apartment it's worth it for the beautiful location.

Beautiful location but you get what you pay for.

Beds are comfy pillows soft very clean pool beautiful gardens lovley owner was very helpful  yes i will be back  stone throw away from beach  the sea was so warm very peaceful  lovley bars and resturaunts on beach front

Relaxing 4 days in the sun

We had a wonderful stay here, the rooms were cleaned everyday, with crisp white sheets and soft new pillows. Family management on site if you needed anything, but we never did. The kitchen had what we needed re utensils and plates and I took my own travel washing liquid and sponge and also a pack away booster high chair for my toddler which made it easier for me to feed him on the ground floor balcony in evenings. The pool was very clean and great that they had a shallow pool for my toddler to splash in as well as the swings and slide. The surrounding grape vine was so beautiful, and the gardens well kept, toddler had a ball running around the grounds playing with other children as well as on the beach. It was also quiet enough for everyone to enjoy not just families.  The rooms were renovated, tidy, and one minute walk to the beach, cafe and bars were unbelievably close, I felt so lucky to have found such an affordable place to stay right on the beach with our toddler. Just also to mention, that one part of my trip my husband left us to attend a wedding, and we stayed here on our own, the family atmosphere was so safe and I felt as if I was staying with family, this was so much nicer than a big hotel. We hope to return again soon, as this really is a great spot for families, close to everything. A bonus is the Elvis nights next door and Latin dancing were really great fun and free entertainment if you want to attend. Thankyou for making our stay wonderful in Corfu. Also Thankyou to the very kind cleaner, who one day came with a wrapped present for my toddler, a lovely digger. This is what I mean by family hotel- just caring, honest and would highly recommend. 

Wonderful family atmosphere, clean tidy and close to beach

Basic accommodation, small Itchen but adequate for a base, very clean accommodation. Good swimming pool area, could maybe do with more beds and umbrella's. Location perfect for beach restaurant and bars one minute away from accommodation. Aggelos and family very helpful and nice.

Amazing family holidays, lovely hotel next to the beach, very clean room, the mattress and pillows were very soft and they also had a renovated bathroom with everything necessary. the pool was very clean and it was perfect after our day at the beach to be able to relax there and children to play in the children's pool and playground next to the garden. Thank you very much to the Alexakis family, we will definitely come again next year.

Amazing family holidays

Fantastic, beautiful place! Beach is  a couple of steps away. Supermarkets and Taverna are 2 steps away. Perfect location. All appartmants are very nicely decorated and very clean. Fridge and kitchen perfect size for us as we cook breakfast and lunch then eat out for dinner. We are on holiday so why not? Fridge and freezer are great, very clean. They even clean apartments regularly. If you need anything additional just ask they will help you. Aggelos Family are on site and super friendly. Family of  4 and we are coming back again.

Lovely family hotel, nice pool area, very close 1 minute walk to the beach.
Bars & restaurants very close.
Was recommended by our local friends to stay here, would highly recommend if on a budget.
Will definitely come back again, lovely hosts very friendly!

Lovely little place

'Apartment' is a loose term as the kitchenette was cramped and very small and hardly ideal (or clean enough) to cook food so we ate out. It was handy having the fridge - that's about it. The room was only cleaned twice during the 7-day stay. (In Greece you have to NOT put the toilet paper down the loo so the poo bin as we called it was a bit unbearable in a tiny bathroom) 
The bedding was stained and worn.
On the plus side the pool was lovely and there is shade from trees to keep out of the hottest part of the day. it's very close to the narrow beach, supermarkets, and restaurants. 
We decided to explore another area of the island and stayed one night away in another apartment where they had provided a sponge scourer, a tea towel, and washing up liquid and the rooms smelled cleaner so it was hard to come back to this apartment which was more drab and dreary in comparison. It['s the little things. I asked if we could print out boarding passes and I was told the printer was broken. Also on two occasions the owner was in the welcome/reception area and had been smoking pot and was clearly stoned!

Close to beach and with a pool but room leaves a lot to be desired

Family run apartments- only about 20 in total. Basic but very clean. Some apartments have very small kitchens but fine for preparing basic meals. On arrival we found several pieces of fruit, a couple of croissants and bottle of water had been left for us. What a lovely touch. Angeles and his family seem to own several businesses in the immediate area. They are all incredibly helpful and very nice. The apartments are set back off the road and less than 100 m to the beach.

Excellent location

This complex is owned by a Family that also own the Mini Market and Restaurant right on the Beach and a short walk from the Apartments The entire Family are so helpful kind friendly and willing to do anything for the Guests to make their Holiday as pleasant as they can Apart from the beach right near the Apartments there is a spectacular Pool in the Complex with Bird life and a really lovely Garden with many fruit trees I am elderly and disabled but never ever struggled my Groceries were brought to my Apartment and the Apartments are spotlesly clean Everything in the Apartment is safe as the Housekeeper is amazing I left jewelry and money lying around nothing ever disappeared Each Apartment has a beautiful Balcony over looking the ool and Garden Anythinmg you may need extra in the Apartment the Manager is more than willing to go out of his way to obtain it for you I found the entire Family generous friendly and just amazing I intend top return again soon to have another wonderful Holiday
