The photos on Trip Advisor and other booking websites are over-processed, even the "traveler" photos - they do not reflect the reality. The real rooms are dark, with poor light and with views to an inner yard. We wanted to cancel the booking when we arrived and saw the reality, but we were offended and threatened with police when they learned that we want to leave. I was even sequestrated and locked with my minor son in their basement restaurant, to stop us leaving!!! My wife called the police, but until the police came they unlocked us, but after that they continuously threatened and harassed us constantly with phones, text messages and Instagram messages! They even stalked my son on Instagram and wrote him!!! We have video recording from all these events, we have all the messages and threatens, so we will press charges in all the possible ways. 

Misleading photos, unfriendly guests, poor location. Was threatened and locked in when we decided to cancel!

What can I say that already has not been covered. We wanted a local experience for a month, we needed somewhere we could escape and feel at home. Fragias Delivered so much more. We became part of a very special family who we loved and were very sad to say good bye. Despoina and her family, Lina & Maria made every day a wonderful experience of which we will keep in our hearts forever.

Aside from the Fragias family and their kind hearts, highlights for us were the beautiful rooms, friendly neighbours, the breakfast, meeting other guests, change of sheets every 2 days, short walk to St George Beach and Old Town, fantastic sleep every night and the Fragias attitude that nothing is a problem... If we wanted a chopping board or some sugar then it appeared immediately.

Fragias is highly recommended, not for 1 or 2 nights but for at least 2 weeks where you become immersed in the peaceful world of Naxos Island. Highly recommended. 

Greek Escape

The hotel is family run. The owner, Vespina, and her family are very much welcoming and helpful for whatever activity you wish to do. Great and very good breakfast. Just 15min walking distance from the center/harbour. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel in Naxos!

Nice, family run hotel in a relatively central but very congested location. Excellent breakfast and polite owners 
The rooms were spacious. The extra beds counted as beds were of very poor quality. 
They have used every bit of space, meaning that the breakfast area was in the basement and too many steps connecting the parts of the “hotel”.
Too pricy for the location and the character of the hotel.

Clean & decent

A very nicely appointed room of a good size for a couple with en-suite, fridge and cookery facilities. There are two supermarkets very close by and there are lots of places to eat within about a 10 minute walk.

The hosts were lovely and really welcoming, collecting us from the airport, giving us lots of advice about places to go and see (the hostesses home town in the mountains is simply stunning) and give us little freebies like a shot of liquor and their mothers home made olive oil. In a 100ml bottle so we could get it on the plane!

The only slight downside is that it is a little further away from the main town and beaches. However, everything is very close by and they offer an excellent rate for a hire car or will happily explain the vagries of the naxian bus network!

Well worth the price, would definitely recommend!

Fantasric stay, excellent hosts!

Very very friendly and hospitable accommodation!!!! We have been caught at the port and been brought to the hotel!!! The girl at the reception (sorry forgot her name) was so welcoming and hearty! Amazing! She gave us tips for the island. All perfect! 
Our room was very clean and spacious!! We even had a big balcony!!!
Within a few minutes you could walk into town... perfect! 

I just can recommend to stay there if you want a “city hotel” in Naxos town!!!! 

We already miss it!!!

Best stay of our whole Cyclades trip

I stayed here for 4 days with my boyfriends during the month of August, I really appreciated the welcome and kindness of the owners, they explained us all about the island and they picked up us from the port and they did many other favours.Our room was clean and big, the bathroom very spacious. The position of the studios was good too, not in the middle of the Chora but  but quite close to everything on walk. 
I definetly suggest it!!

Very Nice place to stay

I have booked at Fragias a semi-basement (budget) room. The service was excellent. The hostess welcomed us on the apartments with traditional sweets and was very helpful on any information requested for Naxos. 
The breakfast had a very good variety and is between 8:30-10:30 (early if you don't wake up to get the kids to the beach!).
The room was very good and operational. Unfortunately, the semi-basement rooms are close to the exit and from 8:00am and onwards you can hear everyone walking, running and babies screaming, making impossible to sleep. Moreover, the rooms are in the end of the corridor which echoes and amplifies all voices from the dinning room. Apartments are close to Chora (~600m walk). In a nutshell, recommended but do not stay on the basement rooms.
