Reviews had me worried, but it was the only room I could find one day before my trip. There was no reception; I had however called the property from the port and was greeted on-the-spot by a young lady who very professionally gave me the keys and all sorts of useful info both about the property and about the island/sights, and who also took me to the room, which looked as well as felt pleasant throughout my stay. Most things were brand new - bed, (very comfortable) mattress, desk, wardrobe, kitchenette, bathroom, floors. 
Only had minor complaints, such as the shower curtain being fitted not on a rod but on hooks that were not fanning out properly leaving the floor wet and the curtain sticking on me while showering; or such as all doors and shutters needing some effort or know-how to open/close; or such as spotting a slow-moving black beetle crawling on the bedroom floor on my first night, which was not surprising since the property is next to green fields. However, housekeeping was very efficient, and the room was being cleaned, and the beds turned down, every day, so there was someone around to answer questions (at least when asked in my native Greek) and/or offer solutions. I must say I was grateful for the fully-operational air-conditioning, as it was enough to counter the humidity of the area/season, as well as the occasional smell of people smoking outside my door, and also a smell from the gutters coming out of the bathroom one afternoon which, without the air-conditioner, would have been overwhelming. I must say I found it very surprising, even annoying, that there was only lukewarm-to-cold (at best) water in the shower; after all, some people do detest cold showers even over the hottest time of the year. 
The location was a fair walking distance from the port (30'), but very close to a bus stop (leading to the south-west beaches), to a bakery with extensive opening times where one could buy bus tickets, and also very close to a large super market (tap water is not potable) and to a souvlaki place. The Saint George beach was not as close as I had expected, but still, walking-distance.

OK - but not good value for the money, not even on the high season

We stayed in this structure for 10 days in August, knowing that we had chosen an informal place so without any pretence... Minimum ground floor pool, small bathroom without fan and always semi-flooded window, small double bed and decorated wall kitchen use (loft, heating plate and refrigerator) did not allow to be used because the dishes were missing.

It's a disappointment.

When you get to the harbor, your arms fall out because the round you have to take the taxi is too much and you think it's in some inner area... then you find it's only a five-minute walk from Ellis and Saint George beach and near a bakery and other lovely bars to have breakfast!

That's perfect.

We spent 10 days in this establishment and we were disappointed: deplorable bed (we could smell the springs of the mattress) Dangerous access, on the side of a busy road without sidewalk! For a studio with kitchenette, no blankets, plate, cup... no kitchen utensils! To be able to turn on the heating plates, we had to unplug the fridge before (not easy to access) We had to buy a kettle to heat our breakfast! The positive points were the good reception of staff and the cleanliness of the studios, housekeeping done as well as changing every day's bed and toilet linen.

Disappointed

Great location - near City centre/the beach but also a nosy street. 

But: 
- the pool is not as clean as at other hotels 
- no kitchen tools is given 
- no trash Can in the kitchen
- bad wifi in some rooms 


Ok - but not good value for the money

So I copied what I put in the other and attached photos: The first thing I want to say is that from Madrid we saw that these apartments only had 1 opinion, which we did there, and that is why they really are called NAXOS SUN STUDYOS, so I put the same opinion. We actually got the accommodation from Madrid and were told that it was called NAXOS SUN APARTMENTS, not STUDIOS. So I copied what I put in the other and attached photos: The first thing I want to say is that from Madrid we saw that these apartments only had 1 opinion, which we did there, and that is why they were really called NAXOS SUN STUDYOS, so I put the same opinion. So I imagine that there is a lady, the hygienist, waiting for us, without giving us the welcome and after having waited ten minutes under the reception desk, she gives us the key and just to give us the restraints.

Horrible

Upon arriving there, a lady waits for us, who, without welcoming us and after making us wait ten minutes under the sun, gives us the key and only gives us instructions.

The worst experience in Naxos.

I stayed in this property for about 10 days during the August holidays due to a lack of service created when I booked our accommodation on the island of Naxos. The structure, simple but new, is right at the gates of Naxos Chora, reachable with a ten-minute walk. The furniture and rooms are new, cleaning is done daily and changing towels every two days.

A good compromise to visit Naxos

I booked this 1 day before, it was the only place I could find. I was worried after reading the reviews but my room was completely refurbished on the top floor so it was good. I have no worries about the cleanliness of the rooms at all. The pool area was ok and the only place you can get wifi. There are no other facilities at the studios but you have an option to go to the hotel 5 mins away if you want more. There was no kettle to make coffee but you buy a teeny saucepan in the large supermarket for about 2/3 euros to boil water. All in all it was just somewhere safe to sleep and relax with no luxuries. 

Things begun badly were the hotel manager called us one day before our arrival to Naxos to cancel the reservation due to technical problems of the building, without however suggesting alternative solutions. After some hours and mainly due to travel agent’s intervention, the manager called us back and informed us that the rooms are still available. At our arrival there was a delay in the check in process of over half an hour. In order to make things worse, we discovered that there were not enough available towels (only for one person out of four). Furthermore, in one of the two rooms that we have booked there was already used toilet paper, while in the other room there was no toilet paper at all. Additionally, there was no soap in the one of the two bathrooms. Furthermore, we were very disappointed when we realized that the air condition was out of order in the one of the two rooms. Considering the fact that we visited Naxos in August this made our staying there horrible. Last but for sure not least, there was voltage in the bathroom. The hotel manager tried to reassure us that this is not dangerous, however without any supporting documentation that the situation cannot cause accidents. The behavior of the hotel manager named Katerina was awful and sometimes offensive. I wish we had never made reservation to NAXOS SUN STUDIOS.
