We visited Naxos for the first time in July and chose this hotel for numerous reasons, including the traditional feel of the premises, proximity to shops and restaurants and the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. This hotel is amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer! 

We were warmly welcomed and shown around the hotel. Our room was spacious and the beds were SO comfortable!! 100/10. 

All of the staff and other members of the public were so polite. Despina was very helpful and the hospitality we received was amazing. Demetrius was fabulous at offering advice on where to visit and what to do. We were genuinely sad to leave this hotel.

We will be back!! 

WONDERFUL

This small hotel in the Chora (old section of Naxos) has been getting rave reviews for years and are all well deserved. George, the manager, is an excellent correspondent-so helpful and prompt .  He made things so clear and easy. Such a generous spirit. The owner, Despina is so gracious and hospitable.  Dimitri was also kind and gave us excellent advice. The building is charming.  Our room was attractive, comfortable and spotless.  We had a small patio.  A kettle was available for tea/coffee.  Fruit and treats were also available in the common room.  The location was lovely and quiet. We felt fortunate to be in such a special place on the beautiful island of Naxos.

Our Castle in Naxos

Chateau Zevgoli was an amazing hotel. We had a room with an amazing view of the Grotta and sea. It was a pretty large room, and very clean. The location was exactly what we wanted: close to all the food and nightlife but not right next to the docks (where it can get a little noisy). It’s in Naxos Town so the beaches and some of the best restaurants and cafes are very close. 

The best part of this experience is easily the staff and the personal touch of the hotel.  Sofia and Eva were the staff that supported us, and they were extremely kind and hospitable. The actual decor and vibe of the place seems very personal (I guess you can call it authentic, but it feels very genuine in design and not just a thing for tourists).

Overall this has been easily the best hotel I’ve stayed at during our trip to Greece. For a couple it’s very romantic!

Amazing view and amazing staff. Best hotel I’ve stayed in during Greece trip.

This hotel is quaint and quiet, and you can hear the sea at night. Walking distance to all sorts of restaurants, bars, shops, etc.. Don't stay here if you have a disability, however; it's up a hill in a maze of tiny passages and stairs. The hotel will arrange a porter to fetch your luggage if you need help with it, but you yourself will be going up and down the hill on uneven terrain. It's also not close to any beaches that you'd want to swim or sunbathe at (you can walk to the Grotta, but that is a tiny, pebbly spot no one is hanging out at. You can take buses or taxis to beaches, but just be aware that you're not near them. 

If you get a room with a sea view, you'll have a stunning view of the iconic Apollo door, the picture postcard view of Naxos. My room was furnished with  antiques and lots of pillows, lovely marble floors. 

Quiet hotel in excellent location for exploring the old town of Chora

We stayed in the suite with private terrace, room 11. The location in old town right below the castle walls was perfect for our needs. The staff and owners were super-helpful and friendly. What a lovely inn!  (photo is view from private terrace)

Wonderful stay!

Well, credit to the misses for finding this hidden gem! Its very close to the port and the old market! The staff are very helpful. Best nights sleep in a long while (maybe because the misses wasn’t snoring....) very comfortable stay! 5minute walk to the main front and 5minute walk from the bus station. (Go to St George Beach) 25mins on the bus. Beautiful!! 

Great location and great views. 

This is a review for the Studio With Sea View

I had a wonderful stay in my apartment, what isn’t advertised is that the studio apartment is built is 1206 and is located within the castle walls. Amazing!

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated in a traditional style. There is a small breakfast table with views across the old town as well as a terrace which was shared with one other apartment.

To access the apartment you need to climb by foot though the steep winding passage up to the apartment, the hotel also offered a porter to assist with baggage from the port for an additional charge. This apartment is definitely not suited to anyone with walking difficulties. After lugging by bag up the hill I was quite exhausted although rewarded by the fantastic views and location. To access the apartment from the street you need to climb one flight of stairs which is quite narrow, you may also bump your head on the way up.

Once you leave your luggage behind the walk is no issue at all, it actually made for a more enjoyable experience to wind though the streets during the evening after a delicious meal.

There is no parking at the apartment, the nearest public parking is about a 10 min walk. I rented a quad bike and had no issues finding parking.

If I ever returned to Naxos I would definitely stay here again.

13th century apartment with wonderful views

June 2018; we stayed at Zevgoli (Room #10) and were amazed at the high quality of the friendly service and the comfort, not to mention the views. This was the nicest of our lodgings in Greece, and certainly a highlight of our islands trip. The webpage is very understated: it is a charming hotel with a very local Naxos feeling. Highly recommended
