Loved this place. Great location. So close to the port. Looking over the sea as well. Rooms are fine with balconies and air con. The pool is amazing and the breakfast is included. Really cute. The staff are lovely. I would stay again. And it’s a bargain

Haritos big hearted hotel on the beach

Even though the hot geothermal swimming pool was both pleasant and relaxing, the special water in the pool immediately discolored our swimwear. The water made orange/rust colored stains on our swimwear that could not be washed off. We were not informed about this beforehand. So do not wear your brand new white swimwear to the pool, I would recommend something black. 

The hotel room was very standard Greek and simple - a room with a bed, a bathroom and a balcony. There was what we needed, but the room was also worn. Besides that, there was no kitchenette or a kettle etc. There was a fridge, but it was very small and the freezer inside the fridge was microscopic.

The breakfast we were not impressed by. The eggs were overcooked and generally the food lacked taste. The coffee was fine, though. The location was also fine, only a short walk to town.

Be aware of the swimming pool, it discolours your swimwear

CLEANLINESS!!! In the summer of Covid19 I found hair in the bathroom floor!!! The staff, although polite, were unable to change our room or clean the room again before we settled. The island is remote and without many accommodation options and it felt like the owner was simply taking advantage without cleaning or maintaining this hotel at an acceptable standard. The door handle collapsed upon touching it; it never got fixed. And the room is just full of multi-plugs stuffed together ready for a short-circuit.Shame as the island is spectacular in every other way.Location and free parking is the only good thing I can say about this property. It is 2' from the port and 3' from the town of Mandraki all on foot. Breakfast was ok too.

Price is enticing but the room was NOT clean. Pick another hotel.

This was a very nice hotel that I would love to stay there again. Very well organized very clean with friendly helpful and polite staff. The pool is amazing and breakfast by the pool is an experience that I will never forget.

Amazing!

I went to all the hotels near by and decided on Haritos. I am so glad I did. This hotel had a geo pool which I thoroughly enjoyed. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was lovely. I would not hesitate to stay here again especially  for the pool.

Over night stay

Haritos hotel is a old family run hotel  which is only a few minutes away from the main port. The rooms are well equipped. WiFi is not the best but ok. However, the doors are very thin. You can hear when someone slams/opens/closes the door. It’s a bit distracting I must say. On the other hand, the breakfast is quite tasty and rich. Not the mention the helpful and kind staff. Their dog was always joining me during the breakfast. Very cute. 

Great stay

Haritos hotel is undoutedly dated but kept very clean and we enjoyed the breakfast, including large locally baked bread rolls. Airconditioning is modern and effective. I found the thermal pool extremely beneficial , totally relaxing and after a couple of soaks my aches and pains disappeared. This is all due to the high mineral contents somit can mark towels. Fancy spas charge a lot of money for such treatments! The Haritos pool has to be emptied and refilled each 24 hours so the 5euros for non residents is not a high price. I felt so much better after using this pool I hope to return just for that.

Thermal pool was amazing

We stayed in the Romantzo hotel just down the road from here for 1 night. As we had been to Nisyros before on a day trip we thought it would be nice to have some chill time by a pool not too far from us.

Usually if you are able to use somebody's pool and are not resident, buying drinks is sufficient. Here tho they charge you 5 euros per bed and drinks extra. That was ok by us as the beds and cushions were of excellent quality, the view was over the harbourvplus that very warm pool!

However after taking our first dip in the 'bath' I noticed that my costume got yellow stains (presumably from the sulphur) and also the towels on the beds were the same. Despite washing them twice over when we got home the stains remained so BEWARE of this.

A suggestion would be for the hotel to provide a pool side fresh water shower, but there is nothing.

The interior of the hotel is clean enough but very basic. Would suggest to stay down the road at our hotel.

BEWARE OF THERMAL POOL

The hotel is very easy to reach, just three minutes walking from the little harbour and five from the main village. The rooms are simple, very clean and cozy. From the balcony  you can enjoy an amazing sea view. The hotel has a swimming pool with hot thermal water in front of the sea. The owners are very friendly and polite: they gave us all the information we asked for. The atmosphere is relaxing and familiar. We strongly recommed this hotel, we would definitely come back for our next visit in Nisyros. Thanks so much we had a great day.
