A wonderful small, boutique hotel at the foot of the mountain Parnon. At the entrance of the village, the statue of Goddess Demeter welcomes visitors, and, on the right hand side, an exact replica of the Erechtheion of the Acropolis with its Caryatides pleasantly surprises the visitor. Off-the beaten track, the village of Karyai, as the name is pronounced in ancient Greek, offers relaxation, staggering views of the mountains and a headstart for visits to neighboring villages, the noisier and more "touristic" ones such as Vityna and Dimitsana. Tastefully decorated, the Archontiko (in Greek the word means the mansion) Parnona, welcomes visitors with large rooms, posturopedic mattresses and top quality bed linen, fireplaces in each room for the winter and homemade breakfast made courtesy of Areti, top notch chef and proprietor of the taverna of the same name (Areti's) at the center of the village. A Must Stay for any visitor of central Peloponese.

Was there for a summit (WHIS Greece) speding two days in the premisesof this hotel. The location is faboulous, out of any contact with noisy world, the place is made of stones and has all the required facilities, with a big room for breakfast included a big fire place. Access is not easy, which means that to find the place you have to reach the centre of the small village and follow not well indicated signs. Once there the view over the village is beautiful and nature all around does the rest. Among the few possible options in Karyes this one has a special flavour.

Breath taking location out of noise and traffic

This hotel is fabulous!! The rooms are spacious, clean & look like new. The quality of the mattress, pillows, bathroom amenities, towels & linen were all 5 star *****

The views from our 2 rooms were great too.. We stayed on the ground floor & heard the top floor had nicer views bit that didn't bother us at all as we were so thrilled with the place, the wonderful service & the fabulous dining & sitting areas.. 

We visited off season (late September) and it was quiet,  which we just looooved..

Wonderful place to stay 

Visited this hotel this past weekend with a group of friends. The hotel is SUPER,especially for a relaxing getaway. Very quiet, VERY clean and the breakfast SUPERB. It is just on the outskirtsof Karyes which is a very quaint traditional village. Giannis the owner very welcoming which made our stay unforgettable.

Perfect getaway in Arcadia

The property is a family run business. The hospitality spirit is evident by the monent you will arrive at the recption desk. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The upper floor rooms have better view and a fireplace. The price is reasonable, although the per person breakfast rate is rather high. Although advertised by the owners, the wireless internet access is only feasible from the reception area and not from the rooms. And the applied connection speed is very low.
