The place is perfect for a peaceful holiday. Very clean, they were cleaning and change towels every day. We received it from our host good tips where to eat or what to visit, and they made us feel at home.

Excellent value for money

Owners are very kind and are keeping this recently refurbished hotel very clean. It is has excelent location and private car park with very nice garden.
Breakfast is nice, but could be more options. Wifi is available and free, but quality of signal could be improved.

We booked a double for 42e, incl breakfast, at the beginning of September - when the big fire hit the island :-(. Spent here 6 nights. The email communication with the owner was ok. All in all, the stay was ok, but there were a lot of moments when we were disappointed by the service. 
The beach is very close, but in a pretty bad shape, and so every day we drove to a different beach. 10mins walk from the hotel, there are a bunch of restaurants, but none appealed to us. Next to the hotel there is a little store where you can buy various: water, beer, ice cream, etc. at the same prices as in the village center. 
The hotel has only a few rooms, quite small but you don't need more. The internet connection wasn't working in our room, but don't know if it was because of the fire. The furniture is ok, the room is clean, our bathroom was recently renovated. Excellent water pressure. 
The reason I gave an average rating, is the service and other small little things. When we arrived, the lady owner was nice, offered advice where to go, but her English isn't good. One day we asked if we could give a quick wash to the car as we drove to Marble beach and the whole car was covered by dust (that was before the fire broke). She said "no", cause there's a recommendation from the local administrations to save on water bla bla. Our friends' host staying in a  hotel 2mins walk from Kristal, even gave them a sponge. The breakfast was really disappointing -- the cheapest of products, even if only a few slices. We gave the cat the bacon, and even it won't eat it. Generally it consisted of coffee/tea, juice (bleah..), 2 slices of bread/person, 2 slices of cheese or meat, or egg, 1 tomato, few slices of canned peaches. One day I asked for a well done fried egg, the host didn't understand what I was actually asking and she crossed herself in front of me and said something in Greek. It would have been so easy to add 1-2e more and serve some better breakfast. The cutlery, the plates and glasses weren't properly washed. The water boiler in the room was dirty and stayed like that during our stay. 
In the garden there are a couple of tables that we used in the evening to have some drinks with our friends. 
The other downside is that the host didn't speak a reasonable English, so at times the verbal communication wasn't going well. 
To summarize, the hotel and village is ok, but for the same price we stayed in other better locations on the island. 
BTW a short drive from the village, driving back to Thassos down , there's the Gorgona restaurant , highly recommend -- see the reviews.

It's ok, but...

Excellent value of money! Very clean, they were cleaning daily the room, breakfast was very nice in the garden,they have market near, beach near, it is a quiet area. There is a good Tavern near, Batis, also the lady is giving good tips where to eat or what to visit!

Excellent value for money.Clean & confortable. Room cleaned daily,hot water small tv,balcony.
Near the beach and minimarket ,in a silent area. Nice and helpful owner (lady).

This is a small hotel (family owned) , clean, located next to the beach (60 m) & market, near the harbor (10 min walk) and tavernas. 
Towels are changed every 2 days or faster if you request .We didn't eat breakfast there ,but it looked tasty.
For the price you pay it's great value for money.
