Very comfortable apartment, nice interior decoration and great location. Clean and very good service. Love the balconys with a view and the winebar which had wines from Crete. The inner yard was beautiful. The receptionist was very friendly and service minded

Great stay in Palaiochora

We were here as a couple, but with two rooms and kitchenette the place is perfect for families. Other things on the plus side are the perfect location for everything, the really friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms and the wonderful in house wine bar. If I had to say something negative then I'd say the furniture wouldn't have won a design prize in 2003 when it was new, and wouldn't today. The place is an absolute recommendation and price/value is great. 

Perfect for families

City without charm but lively and therefore ideal for stopping. Hotel in the city centre, recently renovated. Large studio. Comfortable bed. Little charm, few decorations A little noise with the music of the bar but it remains reasonable. Last minute reserved for less than 50 euros.

The Minimum

We normally had to stay at the Pal Beach hotel belonging to the same family, but due to the covid it was closed and we were moved to the Polydoros. It was a large apartment in the center of town but quiet and well sounded. We could do everything on foot: shops, restaurants, both beaches, get to the port to take the ferry. However, there were only 3 parking spaces that were almost taken, so we had to park by the sandy beach. It was only a few minutes but for suitcases it was not very convenient, nor to carry them up the stairs. We had to go to the Pal Beach restaurant for breakfast (a few minutes on foot).

Very central

Sofia welcomed us very well with a lot of good advice.The apartment was very comfortable (very good bed) in a very lively neighbourhood with a small concert on Wednesday in the very good wine bar of the establishment.Our stay with our 3 children was very good.

Very good stay with a caring host

We stayed here for some days with our family of 5. Enjoyed staying here, the apartment was clean and spacious, pretty recently renovated. Nice wide balcony to have breakfast at, and see the local life. 

The location is excellent, short walk to both beaches, everything near, especially the hotels own wine garden where we enjoyed some wine every night before dinner. Personnel was very kind and caring.

Will come again & recommend!

Neat Boutique hotel with Excellent Central Location

We stayed here for a week. Fantastic weather. So many gorgeous beaches nearby and lovely restaurants in the town, Sophia's recommendations were good. 
We were greeted by Sophia who was most welcoming and promptly arrived (the reception is not manned and this is a sister hotel to Pal Beach) to let us know we had an upgrade to a bigger apartment. The apartment was great for us,  clean enough,  comfortable beds with nice white linen and nice pillows. Shower not very powerful but did the job. 
We didn't cook but made coffee each morning boiling water on the hob. Cooking facilities very limited so wouldn't recommend proper cooking! 
African grey parrot in kebab shop delighted us each morning,  not early, with his repertoire. 
Hotel, more apartments, is very central and surprisingly quiet at night despite being next to all the activity! Balcony doesn't have a view as such but able to see some of life going by.
Have rated 5 as for price had everything we could expect and we would happily return. 

Perfect as a base

As soon as we arrived, we told you that you would have to pay in cash, it's unacceptable! Our studio was fine, clean, but there was a small smell of moisture, a problem with draining water in the shower, otherwise minuscule, not even the place to dispose of our toiletries. The balcony was also bleeding. It's good for a night or two but not more... The wine bar on the ground floor is nice and very nice.

Not too bad.

The rooms are nice, the bathroom is very small. The balcony in the sidewalk is long but very narrow. On the balcony there is just room for a chair. The kitchen equipment was very scarce on arrival. On the second day we complained about the poor kitchen equipment and the defective coffee machine at the Hotel Pal Beach. The apartments of the Polydoros belong to the Hotel Pal Beach. To this I must say that we as guests have never been treated so unfriendly anywhere by the perfectly German-speaking lady (presumably Austrian or German) at the reception.

Nice apartment in a central but very noisy location

These are apartments in the center, just as far from the sandy beach and the sandy beach. It's nine. The bed is good and the beds are big. The bathroom wasn't very big. There's no breakfast served.
