The positives ... fabulous location, right by the beach and close to tavernas and the bus stop. The room was cleaned each day and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The negatives... the bed was so uncomfortable, it was like trying to sleep on a concrete slab. The breakfast was truly appalling.

Lovely location, bed like concrete

We’ve just had a lovely relaxed holiday here . All the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble . The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our evening meals in the restaurant were really good and served by the nicest waiters .
Our room looked out over the sea which we love .
Our only negative were that the beds were very hard so didn’t give us the best night sleep. And the smell of smoke from the neighbouring room coming into ours which meant we had to close our doors when we wanted them open .


Perfect place to relax 👌

My son & I stayed in this hotel for a week in September 2022. We found the staff very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very clean. Our room overlooked the pool, which is one of the cleanest pools we’ve seen.  We were offered an upgrade to a room with a seaview, however we didn’t make the switch as our room had the sun all day. If we didn’t want to go down to the pool or the beach, we could just enjoy the sun at our balcony. 
The food at the hotel was great, there are also shops & restaurants nearby. If you forget your essentials, don’t worry a few mini supermarkets nearby and at reasonable prices. The hotel is close to all the pubs & bars too which makes it an ideal location too. I highly recommend this hotel! 😁👍🏼

Great experience! 

Been coming to the family run Aphrodite Hotel for over 30 years mostly 2 visits each year lot of people who stay are regulars. I have never heard of any complaints from guests, talking to first timers who stated would be booking for 2023.The hotel staff are very friendly round the pool lovely snacks try the fruit salad (fantastic). The bar area also does nice bar meals/snacks and serves a lovely cool Mythos which is the best in Roda there is also the Yacht restaurant attached to the hotel also 15% discount off food for hotel guests there is also the Yacht Club Bar. Each room has a flat screen TV and hair dryer the rooms are very clean. There is a regular bus service right outside the hotel between the town of Kassiopi and Sidari and a service to Corfu Town. There are several car hire/travel shops side the hotel. All the staff are great especially Panos and will do their best to make your holiday perfect and relaxing. Already booked for May/September 2023

Another Fantastic Relaxing Holiday (Lovely Family Run Hotel)

Had a weeks stay here, hotel is in a good location opposite the beach. We stayed half board  breakfast is continental but you can order a full English for around 5 euros..evening meal is at the yacht restaurant next door which has sea views too. You have a choice of 2 starters , mains and a pudding, you get salad & bread too. Lovely food, very plenty full go with an empty stomach. Staff throughout hotel are lovely, pool has great snack bar. My only gripe is the bathroom, hard beds & the door to room. We had a key and doors are heavy and bang and keys clatter and loud locks so when folks come back a little tipsy and late, the noise was loud with clattering locks & banging doors.. maybe invest in cards for doors & slow closers for the doors.. bathroom is very basic & beds very hard... saying this it is a 2 star hotel. Again its a very friendly hotel, amazing food and fantastic service just the little things let it down for us, it wouldn't stop us staying again though and maybe we'll have better weather next time 😀 

Excellent location, friendly staff, great food!

Roda is a small, relaxed and lovely resort. The same goes for the Afrodite Hotel. A family run hotel where everyone works hard to make sure your stay is perfect. From Panos on reception,  Nikos and Spiros at breakfast and in the restaurant during the day, Dimitri on the beach, the lady who works so hard at the pool bar, to the ladies who keep everything neat and tidy in the hotel. Breakfast is OK but could do with some attention (real ham please!). However, it fills you up so does what it needs to. The rooms are kept beautifully clean and have everything you need. The bathroom is a little dated but has everything you need so who cares! We loved our time here, the people in the hotel really care and  it shows in everything they do. We’ve booked again for next year….says it all really.

A little gem of a place

Just returned from a fabulous two week holiday at the afrodite.I cannot understand why this hotel is only rated a two star.The public areas are spotless as are the rooms, and the staff from the cleaners upwards offer a five star service. There is an option at breakfast to have a continental or English meal, we had the cooked breakfast and it was always fresh and piping hot. Spiro's and Nick were so attentive and tea or coffee refills were always on tap. I've heard people complain about the cost of the cooked breakfast but included in your meal was juice ,toast and a selection of jams. As many refills as required for around 5€ each.I really can't praise the whole staff enough at this fantastic family run hotel, nothing is to much trouble and you are made to feel welcome and at ease From the moment you arrive.Eating out is a matter of personal choice and we found the Agrila restaurant run by Maria and her husband to be one of the most consistent for quality and preparation of food. A little tip, if you are feeling Hungary the mixed grill is worth a go, but you have been warned.Worth a mention is the beach service, cold drinks and food on tap as required ,and just 5€ for two beds and an umbrella  an absolute bargain.All in all Rods and the Afrodite are another jewel in Corfus crown.

Just returned from my first visit to this hotel, accompanying my mum who has been many times with my dad before he passed away last year. 

We had a great time rooms generally clean but agree that some updating of bathrooms, although perfectly adequate, might be required.

We paid for a fridge which was extremely noisy and very noticeable during the night.

Breakfast, whilst delivered and served impeccably by fabulous staff was a bit monotonous and carb heavy, perhaps this is an area that could be looked at as notice mentioned by other guests.

The staff were brilliant, friendly and extremely helpful, we even managed to get an extension lead to increase plug usage.

We experienced a loss of water due to a local burst pipe.  Panos not taking the ....will be fixed 'today' organised for a water tanker to deliver so the hotel guests were assured water was available.

Fabulous holiday shame could only manage 10 days this time but will definitely return.

Excellent two weeks at the Aphrodite in beautiful Roda. The hotel is superbly situated opposite the well maintained beach which is literally in spitting distance. The staff led by the impressive Panos, who couldn't do enough for us, were all brilliant and we were particularly fond of Spiros on the lunchtime shift who always found time for a friendly chat. Really could not fault this place, so much so that we've already booked a return next summer.

Perfect in Every Way

What makes a great hotel, what makes a great holiday... People, people, people

Never had a holiday quite like Roda, the very best holiday ever, the people , staff, business owners and holiday makers enjoying their holidays just make this hotel and Roda so special.

Special times are about shared experiences with family, friends and those that maybe friends for just a short time, everything else doesn't matter. 

We loved this hotel,  everyones expectations are different but all the team are friendly and just want to make sure our stay was wonderful. Rooms were clean and cleaned everyday, yes the bathroom was dated and using the shower was a challenge but this took nothing away from what was an absolutley fantastic experience staying at this hotel.

Breakfast was a good quality bread roll, slice of ham, cheese, cake, bolied egg and melba toast which was ok and we had most days. Staying half board the meals are provided by the Yacht club, the choice was a set menu of either meal a or b; however every meal we had at the Yacht club was really nice food and the service was fantatic every night for the whole of the 10 days we stayed.

Would I recommend this hotel, would I stay there again... of course I would.

Thank you to al, the staff for making our stay at the Afrodite and Roda our bestholid ay ever.
