Our stay in Paros was enhanced by the local knowledge of Dee, a resident Greek/ Australian archaeologist/ manager, whose advice and local knowledge helped us make the most of out time on the island. Our room had a spacious private veranda with a shade umbrella and a very basic kitchenette. A couple of faults with the room were fixed very promptly after we notified of them. There had been a power blackout the night before so they had been unaware. Very close to some excellent restaurants and the bus station to get around the island if you can resist the many touts trying to rent you a car. Very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Value for money, close to a beach and an easy walk to the town centre of Parikia and the bus station..

It wasn't the best thing to know, except that the area is quiet in the evenings and you can only hear the owl's song. The family was not properly seen during the week, cleaning was done daily, bed linen and towels were changed overnight, the towels were very dirty, the water in both rooms was running, the glass table was broken, the fan door was not covered, the wires were visible in the bathroom, the mirror chair was the first day under such dust, kitchen equipment very small. but it was possible to sleep :) This accommodation does not allow late check-out, which is because the rooms were empty when you picked up things in the evening (where you could leave things), this option was not even offered for a small extra charge.
